    I would say nearly pointless. It servers its intended purpose, but not as well as it should. The best way to learn how to play is get a plot in towny and learn from the community.

    That's the point! The tutorial is made to get players to the point where they can talk to the community because that's where the real learning will be.

    yes but not a lot of kids or new players will see the tutorial, see that its empty because no one is in the tutorial, and then keep going
    yeah it looks nice but it does nothing for player retention
    we're better off plopping them in spawn with a holo right in front of them saying do /g for global chat and step into a portal for a tutorial

    or display all players online on the tab menu no matter the server

    and yes it is possible, and yes we have few enough people for it to not overflow the tab menu.
