Creeper Spawners

I would like it to be permanent but then economy will go to high. Then if it was limited then the prices for gunpowder and tnt wouldn't have to drop as my h.

 

The prices would drop a lot regardless. People will be buying a lot when those spawners are released. Even more if they are limited edition.

 

True. Thats why I would like it so you can only buy like 10-20 per ultimate.

 

Well, that seems hard to manage. Maybe an even better idea would to make them only available through donation. Maybe $5 for 16 spawnwers or something.

This is what I think: 50k per creeper spawner. If you buy in bulk of 10+ it cost less. Let's say I buy 10, originally if it was 50k it would get lowered to 45k so then the total is 450k for 10. If you buy 1 at a time 10 times then it's 500k since its 50k per spawner. So something along these lines!

-1 Vecause the trolling this will create, the economy deflation it will create, and the devalue of gunpowder and tnt. Spawners are already a convenience and we need some items of value that aren't too easy to get (hunting for creepers). If you make a spawner for this gunpowder won't be worth crap.

Tons of money in an economy shouldn't be wanted unless you are trying to troll.

How an economy works is that the money in the economy is worth more (more face value) if there is less. I get the idea you want more money in the economy, but it will just devalue the money more and most people will rise their prices since there are so many meebles. Now, Meep economy is screwed up so people probably won't change their prices, but that's how Americas economy is going.

What you are saying (more meebles in the economy), is the equivalent of Obama wanting to raise minimum wage. And the same bad idea. If you raise minimum wage, everything cost more.

Now ignore minimum wage.

America is also adding more money into the economy, more then is being taken away, which devalues the dollar making it only worth 90 cents (unrealistic number but just the idea). Now the dollar is losing value because America doesn't have enough wealth in gold (or minerals) to really support the money in the economy.

So when specie money was about (money that had actual value; gold silver) merchants were happy. But then we made them take worthless paper money as face value, which is baloney. Now that we have paper money we have more paper money then gold to back it up, so to other countries our dollar is worth less then, say a euro. That's how conversion rates are down and lots of other problems.

To tie this all in again, more money introduced = less value + higher prices

someone address this. because these two points are the main concern here and I'm inclined to agree unless refuted. Farms ruin things. The only way gunpowder changes is if the server messes with it. Its remained very stable in history and should stay that way.

 

Don't forget, this will also devalue all splash potions too.
With PvP getting a burst like it is, I think this might be a bad time to add it.

Sorry but I'm kinda on the -/+ side

Firstly If people make to much TNT and spam it all around the wild and blow it up it would cause the server to lag and also may cause it to reboot or have a role back which people will not will be really happy about IF they get a role back. So not really the best Idea to add CREEPER SPAWNERS.

 

Supply vs Demand of gunpowder will be ruined.

It COULD do what landon wants (more meebles in the economy) and THAT would ruin the economy.

Wild will look chaotic, meaning we will reset it, giving tons more resources.

I don't really know many other ways it could ruin the economy, but look at how bad the skelly spawner wasted the economy (auto farms thrive, unlimited bonemeal).

 

Well they can always nerf the grinder it self and maybe bring the prices down a little bit. It would also help a lot if they were limited and you could only buy 10 or something like that.

 

Basically, this will destroy the tnt market. Tnt is pretty expensive, but who cares. Also fireworks will be destroyed (economy-wise). The thing is that if creeper spawners are added, staff will just take away gunpowder in the shop. Nobody will buy it. It will become worthless. So -1.

 

doesnt matter. gun powder will be devalued. iron farms got nerfed and iron is still low. point still not addressed.

 

creepers would just explode and destroy everything. this is a horrible idea. -1
