Create your own private channel on Teamspeak!

The title says it all Please! I say Please! Make it so we can CREATE out OWN private CHANNELS on TEAMSPEAK For the SAKE OF PRIVACY!

Reasons? All you said was just "PRIVACY"

 

People who come into TeamSpeak with Voice changers and annoy everyone also if there was no staff member on it would be great to have your own channel so the People with voice changers can't join also to set a password on it but the channels are only temp untill everyone leaves the channel it gets remove instanly (automaticly) I have seen it before

 

There's an approval thing already. Not necessary to add this. My vote is solid -1.

It's where a staff member has to give you access to using teamspeak, otherwise you are stuck in the lobby. This is to avoid having troll players join the teamspeak. If a new player is to join teamspeak they must poke a staff member and the staff member then checks if they are a real player on MeepCraft.

 

And you can mute someone if they are annoying.

 

Just use skype if you need that kind of privacy.

 

This has been suggested before, and it is too much work for staff to make/moniter.

The first, but minor, concern is how we moderate this? What if a player in a channel complains about something, do we tell them we can't do anything? Do we channel hop to moderate this?

Secondly, and most important for me, is if 2 people are in the same channel, a private one, and one sends a link to something not appropriate to not legal, then that is happening on our server and we could be liable, this holds potentially dangerous outcomes.

 

Well well there is probally a command to where you can check what they have been saying in the chat while they are in that channel also if they do post a link or something in there private channel it could be recorded and tracked down but I do understand it could be a little bit of dangerous outcomes

People's friends will go in, eliminating contact with people who want to talk to those said friends.

If you want a private channel, move up or down a channel, go to another TS server, or use skype.

 

Denied. First of all, if you want privacy you probably shouldn't be on TeamSpeak in the first place.
Although there would be situations when talking to someone privately would be useful, the system could just as badly be abuse.
