Bring Back CTF!

Hello Meep! Before CTF was removed, I played it a lot. It was my favorite minigame on MeepCraft and it will stay that way even after is has been removed. Before it was removed it was a game of four teams collecting as many materials as they would like, then they would go onto the other teams' sides and capturing their flag. Teams used to get 20 points (As I remember) from capturing the other teams' flags, you would get 2 points for killing other players. I used to feel like I've accomplished something every time I get a flag, and feel like I've done something good whenever I killed an opponent. This was removed later and I was very disappointed.

I would appreciate any support on bringing this minigame back even if it will never come back.

I found this server when looking for a CTF server.

Still waiting for my CTF.

 

Bring back the OLD ctf.
2 teams.
player on red side breaks blue side's wool (capturing their flag)
blue side must kill red player before red player gets back to recapture their own flag
each time a team gets the opposing flag to their base they get a point
first team to x points wins
minimum 4 players, 2 per side

bring back real capture the flag, not just "Stand on an opposing team's base for 15 seconds and win!"

 

I didn't play much of the old CTF but I do sort of remember that I didn't like it as much.

 

I'd would love for ctf to come back but not the terrible one like last time. I want 2 teams, 2 flags, and you have to take the enemy flag back to your base. Also I hope, if they do add ctf, that they fix a lot of the problems that the last one had:

-Let us die, not when we have less than 4 hearts then it tps us back to our base
- Team balance was Terrible to the point where you can boost off it.
- There weren't enough people for 4 teams
- Healing point was op af
- mobs are just annoying
- Mining was kind of boring tbh, maybe some enjoyed it more than me

 

Totally agreeable. I remember the red team had 4 players on it and the green had 1, the green player then quit and red won. Terrible balance there.

 

even so, it was even easier for you and a friend to switch standing on the points in order to boost a win
At least with the breaking a wool and bringing it back its a pain in the backside


I wanna bring up another point
for our current player base and how much players even play ctf after a month or so, the maps that we had most recently are way too big.

Some of my fondest memories of meep are playing the first ctf. It was really fun and one of the things that kept me coming back. If we could implement something like the first ctf, I would be all for it. +1

 

Yes, I loved to play CTF on Meepcraft years back. It was the BEST CTF server for its time, and i would really like to see it back!

It is important to me that we bring back CTF. However, we must bring back CTF in its true form. The CTF from 2013 was incredible and for me personally was what made me join the server. This won't be a gimmick like some people are saying. I'd advise anyone that hasn't played the old CTF to give it a chance if it is reintroduced, it is fantastic.

 

+/-.....CTF, lets face it, was probably the easiest way for people to grind money. Now, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with grinding money, heck I do it myself, but CTF was just way to overpower, especially for meepers with higher ranks such as supreme or ult. I would give it +1 but I would like to see the money aspect of it nerfed somewhat.
