It's completely opposite from this topic, but I'm related to a president that has been widely considered as one of the worst. I can trace my lineage to James Buchanan as my 5x great-uncle. For those who don't know he's the president immediately before Abraham Lincoln.

I know that, and I respect that. I am in no way saying 9/11 was a joke.

Lincoln is undoubtedly one of the greatest presidents, goes without saying. It is also true, however, that without Jackson the War of 1812 could have had a most more costly outcome for the United States. Both these men are incredibly important to the history of America.

The untold truth about Lincoln is he really didn't abolish slavery, he swam the wave of abolitionists and took the credit but can be quoted for saying he wasn't against slavery

I'm sure that's right, but nonetheless great things happened under his rule that most likely would not have occurred with just anybody in the White House. Especially not with someone who was against abolishing slavery.

Are you serious? I understand what you're saying, but 9/11 is something that many people can justifiably get offended by. I mean, c'mon dude, the events on that day were a little worse than a chicken getting hit by a car wouldn't ya think?

He still wrote the Emancipation Proclamation which freed slaves in all rebellious counties of the confederacy. The rest of the institution fell shortly after as the north was mostly free, only a few counties and churches in the confederacy were excepmt as they had no ties to the rebellion, and slave states in the Union had turned free shortly after.

Roosevelt or Truman. Or Lincoln or Carter. Maybe Reagan. Obama too. A few of the good ones I guess.
