Meh, guys who oogle over women in that fashion tend to be a bit sad, I recommend avoiding that type of hype. If you like girls you should just talk to them.

I aint saying that girls cant do coding. Its just that this particular thread wasnt meant for girls.

 

It's too bad they have to objectify women in order to create a product. If someone can't learn Web Development without attractive women giving explicit innuendos every so often, then perhaps Web Development is not right for them.

 

The entire premise of this website is despicable. It's attempting to get people interested in coding by appealing to an entirely different interest. I think that the person is going to learn to code with or without the help of this website if they are interested in coding; and if they are not interested in coding, I don't believe this website will get them into it long term. I would argue that the only thing this website will accomplish is getting some people hooked on pornography who would otherwise not have gone down that path.

But even putting that aside, this seems like an inefficient way to learn anything regardless of the sexist nature of it. How would you focus on the coding aspect of it? Imagine trying to do a math lesson while I baked cookies right in front of you. It would be pretty difficult to focus on the math.

Is it sexist though? It's not forcing women to work there. They are willing doing this for a profit knowing their gender is the drawing point. Of this is sexist, would they not also be?

Well, This isn't the path on which I went on to learn web development and coding. I actually learned web development from a well known online website and also from other people who are in the field of web development. I found this specific site on youtube while searching for an efficient and fun way to learn coding as my dear friend needed help. I have never used this site and dont intend to use it in future as well. I told about this to some people and they found interesting so I thought of sharing this here. And well the people who liked it are members of a Tech startup which focuses on web development and I have had the oppurtunity to work along with them in order to create a forum website for a well known minecraft server.

 

I think the sexist remark was towards OP saying "not for girls". Implying he's sexist for excluding women from liking the website.

I have no idea whether the site itself is sexist, but as of now I believe that it does indeed objectify women. Whether that's the case is debatable, and whether or not objectifcation is inherently sexist is also up for discussion.

A piece of advice;

dude.. never ever exclude a part of the world when exposing something, I don't mean only when it comes to sex genders like in your case here (boys/girls) I mean in general it could be ethnicity, religion, country whatever... Because that group or groups that feel being excluded will come and attack your thread with the simple objectif of showing their existence which is true, and then your thread will fly off-topic.. so never ever exclude a group when exposing something for the wide public..
