I've been thinking of starting a large project on Meepcraft for a long time, and now I have finally begun one.

I plan on building Minas Tirith from the Lord of the Rings books/movies, by taking the build found here:

Since the build is much larger than is feasible for Meepcraft (y2 to y248 isn't reasonable), I am going to remove the very bottom level.

Even without this bottom level, the build will still be about 21 by 21 plots large (about 441 plots), and will take many resources and a large amount of time.

I have already begun building from the top, and plan on working my way downwards, expanding as needed. For privacy I cannot share the coordinates of the build (this is to avoid the blackmail of plots needed for expansion), but the build is located above an ocean.

After about 2 hours, here is the Day One progress:

Already, over 50k has been spent from plot claiming costs and quartz costs. Simply put, I will not be able to fund this by myself, if I want this to be done in a reasonable amount of time.

Because of the absurd cost, I was hoping that some donations could be made in the form of meebles, or quartz (blocks or slabs). All materials other than quartz I will collect manually, as to keep the cost as low as possible.

To help give some drive to donate, I will offer some recognition for contributing.
For a 10k donation, your name will be added to a sign in a Hall of Donations (which will be set up on the completion of the build)
For a 27k donation (one doublechest of quartz shards), you will get your own sign in the Hall of Donations, which will be colored to your preference, and positioned wherever on the wall you can choose.
For any donation 75k or larger, you will have a house in Minas Tirith named in your honor, along with the sign in the Hall of Donations. AND, you will be able to make interior design edits inside the house named in your honor, which can include anything you want, as long as it follows all of Meepcrafts rules.*

*If I think the customizations made by a 75k or larger donation is inappropriate or detrimental to the build, you may be asked, or forced to change/remove certain parts.

** Houses named and customized in a player's honor will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. I will let the first players who donate 75k+ choose their house first.
If you would like to donate meebles or quartz, I will set up quartz donation chests at /pwarp S , and you can pay meebles to the town S, which will be used for building and upkeep. /pay town-S (amount)

Minas Tirith - Day 7
Father's Day, didn't have tons of time to work. @qazini has started helping with this project (she's working on the other side of the cliff). And I've made some progress with the large quartz building and the main square on top of the mountain. Plot upkeep is getting much higher as I need to claim more plots to work on this. Tomorrow I will probably unclaim some of the central plots that we no longer have any building to do on.

Did not have much time to work on this today (about an hour and a half), but the amount of detail in the stone is making progress take a while.
