This is the third time I've had to post this, it's been deleted twice before.

I encourage the next staff member going to delete this to peruse through the archives and see the litany of -1/+1 I've posted on applications. I mean what I post and I post what I mean.

So, Frank

I've talked and a few others, I've thought about it overnight, but I don't think you are ready for the position right now. Yes, I do see you as potential staff and I know that you have been putting efforts to improve, but you still have much room to improve.

I agree that:

• You have made changes from the last application.
• You are chill and you would be a potential staff member.
• Your bans shouldn't be the reason to inhibit you from getting this position.

Here are my concerns that led me to think that you are not quite yet ready for this position:

• Interactions with all of the community: You said, "he doesn't like me so i dont like him", but that is not the way a staff member should handle a relationship in a community that is very close as this. People are going to dislike you as staff no matter what. They'll say that Courtneyyy is protecting you and all of those nasty things. It's just part of life and you need to stop being hostile to people, especially in global chat. You need to respect the fact that not everyone playing here is 18 years old. You have to approach each person differently and know that some people are not comfortable with your joking around and you have to accept that.
• Your favorite picking: I'm not saying that you will be a bad staff member, but I would absolutely hate to see someone in their staff position to be biased and unfair in cases. As staff of meepcraft, I would expect you to be fair in all cases. I don't know if you can do that, because you repetitively keep harassing those that don't like you and when you think something is funny when it's really not.
• Your application: To be fair, it was just too weak. And I know that it is not your greatest skill to write up formal job applications, but I know that you could've put more details. As you know, meepcraft currently has a large staff team and I don't think that they need more people to just do modreqs. Personally, I am looking for people that can change the environment of the server. I am looking for people that can move projects forward and bring the community together. And I know that you can do that, or at least attempt to, but it is not shown on your application.
• Your attitude that, you will have a drastic change when you get staff to prove yourself: That's not how it should work. A title shouldn't change anything. You just get green chat. I know that you have been trying to change yourself in a positive way from the last application, and you have shown some changes, but not drastic enough that you started fighting with people again for no reason but because "he hates me". I would like to hear that Frank is now respecting people all around, and not Frank was banned the seventy-first time because he blew up a town and then unbanned three days later. As I said last night, if your application gets denied, I wouldn't act up and actually work to change how you look on the server.
• Your maturity and your temper: I see that you have been working to improve this, and that is great, but I am not sure if it's at the level of a staff worthy person.

Always remember that you don't have to be a staff member to prove a change. Remember that you don't have to be a staff member to help others, and to make the server a better place. Don't be discouraged! I know you can do it. And I'm really glad to see the changes you've made and I'm looking forward to more!

Since a large portion of your app is copy/pasted from your previous app I am just going to copy/paste a large portion of my previous reply:

Vkl I can't ever see you as a staff member.

I've personally spent dozens of hours on cases that directly or indirectly involve you. From spreading underage nudes of fellow meepers to exploiting bugs that could make you millions of meebles, you seem to have broken every rule that the server has laid out. I would not trust you to uphold these rules and follow them to the spirit of the letter as a staff member. You've poven time and time again that when you get the trust of the staff you will break that trust and do something completely idiotic. Others are saying not to hold your past against you but that's completely asinine, the past teaches us about the present and the future, you've definitely taught us you're completely unfit for this and that you're likely to do something illegal once you simply get bored again (your own words dude).

Vkl I don't ever see you post anything constructive on Meepcraft forums, I don't see you helping people, creating suggestions, improving suggestions, etc etc. Every other post you've made is a Ban Appeal, I've seen people denied because they were banned one time 3 months prior to their app! To consider you for the position after making those type of denials would be completely illogical.

In short I do not, and cannot, trust you. Your actions and words in the past have shown me your character well enough to make a judgement on your future. You put such little effort into this app that it seems like its all a joke. And seriously you lost mostly all of my respect when I was working the case that involved you sexually harassing a young girl and fellow meeper, and it's a disgusting show of character that does not embody the staff team at all.

I'm a very strong -1.

Introduction: Hello, my name is Frank but you guys know me as VKL. I'm 18 years old and I live in New Jersey. I'm into any sort of technology. I'm also into basketball, baseball, football & playoff hockey. My favorite teams are the 49ers, Phillies & 76ers(gross ik).

Why should you be Helper? I believe I should be a Helper on Meepcraft because I like to think that I am qualified enough and could be a great asset to the staff team with my work ethic, knowledge & dedication.

I am a hard worker & I try my best to get the job done whether it is big or small & although there isn't a modreq count as high as it was a year or two ago I believe that I can get a high amount of modreqs completed when there are open ones.

My knowledge has grown a lot over the years & I'm fairly confident in my ability to answer questions about commands & anything that people may need help with. That could be a big plus if another staff member doesn't know something.

I've been dedicated to meep for 5 years & i won't turn my back on the staff team unlike some of the others in the past

What are your weaknesses? criticism obviously due to my last application but I have learned to not care what people say about my past because all i'm focused on is the future

maturity is also a weakness that I've had over the years but I think I have progressed greatly when it comes to being mature on meepcraft & i try my best to show it

Hey VKL,
The application was a tad disappointing, as I would be wanting a more detailed application from someone like you who's been trying for staff for a while at this point. It didn't give me much more than the basics, and of course, I'd love to know more. I would suggest going more into detail on the why chunk of the application especially. Anyways, as I don't play in game much anymore, I can't judge you on that much. Also, I've seen the picture that @kirby99 has posted, and although I'm not concerned too much about you having a good ol' time with some friends, I am concerned about the way you responded to his comment along with your sarcasm on the other comments. I understand that you might want to resolve some of people's concerns, which is perfectly fine. However, it's a little too far when you begin getting defensive and rude to others as I'm seeing above. I surely don't want to see that from a staff member, as it looks much better when you keep your cool and take them graciously. I suggest keeping that in mind. In conclusion, I can see that you're trying, but I want to see a bit more than you've given. Work a little longer and harder for this and you've got a reconsideration from me. -1 for now.

Vkl, I know you're active online so that's a +1, but that's about all you have going for you. I mean two days ago you put "F U" in global and that was directed at someone. I honestly feel like you'd make a terrible staff with your short temper and your toxic behavior. When you say that you've changed, I don't believe it for a second. -1

Yeah completely up to personal preference. I would only ever do it if I felt very strongly for the person. But if a supermod is going to +1 a controversial member of the community for staff, it is not completely unreasonable to expect people to ask your reasoning.

Also shoutout to Bl4ut0 best helper to ever walk the face of meepcraft.

 

Ok lets start here, the application was below what I'd be expecting coming from any (Maybe) to be staff member, the ban history was long but its nothing too hard to get over, maturity and temper could be a problem, but I'm not too familiar with you so I can't know for sure. You seem to be very rude and also don't think before you act. Now since I am not very familiar with you I'd like to see you justify why you posted this in local chat: Vkl
It was also off-setting that you just started helping a day before you posted this application. So I'm at a solid -1 unless you can find some miracle to explain this photo, fix your attitude and have some proof of you helping before you posted this. Thanks.

~ Weak application
~ Immature: If someone says anything that offends you or does something you don't like, instead of acting mature, you act like a 12 year old and fuel the fire. Staff members are there to try to deescalate conflicts, help the community, and make sure everyone is enjoying meepcraft, and how do you expect to do that, when you can't stop a conflict yourself. Plus it's only a matter of time before you become toxic again.

That is incredible that my comment, which were detailed reasons and explanations with links on why he shouldn't be staff got deleted. Clearly you want him to be staff, why bother pretending like our opinions matter. Waste of my time thinking writing things would influence people who's minds are already made up. Please do me the honor and just auto accept it next time to save me the time.

Vkl, I'm sorry man, I know I haven't been around (because like, I'd rather play league and volleyball) but I just cannot bring myself to see this go through, and honestly the only reason you'd get staff is by bias, which is what most of what staff is but whatever I guess that's life. However, no matter how many times you say "I've changed" "I won't do it again" and all that stuff. You've been banned more times then I played games of volleyball this season. I'm happy you have the drive to be staff, just like I did, but your app was again just as disappointing as the rest. You also don't have to respond to everyone's comments, it really irks me when you respond using stuff like "71, kiddo" and "XD" that just isn't mature for a spot on a server that you are still representing even though we have like half the servers active players as staff.

Even as a staff member, What makes you so different? I still hold to the belief that we don't need anymore people that are going to be average. Just because people like you, that doesn't mean you should get staff. (<----- please take that advise @@@staff).

I know this will be frowned on, probably deleted. but its the gosh flippity dang truth. Take it or leave it, I haven't been around but all the experiences I have had with you are nothing but full of bad, bad experiences.

Yeah but like you can't say that because other people were saying so its ok that I said it. Saying High as sht where shorting words for curses is not staff behavior. I was one of the more lenient with my language, but I did it in local with friends and close staff friends around, never in global. Not good homie.

Also why would u resort to questioning kirby's online status? They are staff. You are applying for it. How do you go from I've changed to instantly being combative? You don't seem to understand the line between defending yourself and being combative, which is a worrying trend frank.
