I had a quick look through suggestions and did a search and couldn't immediately find a similar suggestion, if I missed it somehow and this has been suggested before I apologize.

Meep should consider something like this:

    Playtime based perks
The more game time you log while playing on Meep the more perks you unlock. These can have short time milestones (30min, 1hour) to hook new players and then have marathon style milestones (100hours, 200hours) that will keep people a long time.

    Logging in daily perks
The more consecutive days you log in the more perks you unlock.

    Meebles spent based perks
The more Meebles you spend the more perks you unlock. This should exclude player transactions, town deposits, chest shops and vshop. Only money sinks like buying heads, admin shop purchases and buying gold should count as to take money out of the economy.

    Vote based perks
The more you vote the more you unlock. Maybe say you need to have at least 60 votes over a 30 day span to have access to certain perks.

    Plots/Town owned based perks
The more plots you own a citizen or if you own a town grants you access to certain perks. Will again assist with taking money out of the economy or distributing it to towns. Owning a nation should also grant access to perks.

I didn't go into what perks I think should be unlocked at which stage, this is just an idea that can be taken further if it seems do-able or worth while. More facets can be added as well this is just to get the suggestion into motion. It shouldn't be hard to implement either as just a few variables need to be checked.

Certain high level perks should also only be unlocked when a combination of the above parameters are met. For example Logging in daily could "break" perks earned with Playtime, say you need 100hours playtime and having logged in at least once a week to unlock /nv so that won't mean you permanently unlock perks.

This should create things for players to want to aspire to, encourage spending money and most importantly put in more playtime and increase votes which should equate to more players in general. More players = happy server = more $ for server.

Just for the record /fix and /feed should not return nor any serious economy affecting perks. I would like to see things like /nv /fly /smelt etc. return but with a way to earn them as to make it fair to all players.

[If possible ranks could maybe reduce the parameters to unlock certain perks?]

I have different opinions for different ideas, but I'm -1 in general because ranks need more perks.

This will just encourage people to be afk, which causes more server issues because it apparently can't handle more than 80 people on at a time. Also, if server gets rid of AFK people, then it will make it difficult to run farms and such. Huge -1

Sure, why not. Or maybe daily challenges/quests.

This makes people think that the server is trying to take their money away, again, and it won't be effective. Also, if you buy gold, you can just sell it again, buy it again, and people can get op perks. Big -1

Since vote was nerfed, I see a possibility in bringing this up. If there is a small chance of getting a rank upgrade, or a perk like /fly, it will encourage people to vote which will make the server better. However, this has almost no point because vote is constantly down.

It will also encourage new people to get bankrupt, being unable to pay taxes, and towns overclaiming land. Also, there's no need for rich nation owners to get more benefits. -1
