Introduction: Hi, It’s Doug AKA Dbl O, I am a 32 year old software developer and primarily work from home. When I am not on meep (when is that?) I enjoy going to the beach and really anything to do with the water, like jetsking, watersports, swimming etc. When I’m not on Meep I am still normally on ts so feel free to hit me up sometime.

Why you should be Mod? Well I have truly enjoyed my time as helper and feel I am definitely ready to move on to mod. I think the majority of active players on meep know who I am by now and a lot of you contact me when you’re having issues or just have questions and I enjoy helping you with these. I’m still really active in the late night hours that few staff are online normally and it would greatly benefit the community if I had more privileges so I can handle cases that require a mod+. By now I have handled all the common problems multiple times and some really interesting cases and had a lot of fun in the process. I always try to find solutions to issues that don’t come down to bans, as I truly do hate banning people but don’t get me wrong I will ban if it comes to it. I try to take a more communicative approach to handling issues and put players in a position to work the issues out between themselves with as limited intervention as possible. This has seemed to work out great so far and I hope it continues to in the future. I have handled over 450 modreqs, and banned less than 20 players so I hope to keep this trend going in the future.

What are your weaknesses? One of my core weaknesses is having difficulty focusing on one task, I commonly multitask and it is easy for me to get sidetracked, I have dealt with this issue for most of my life, but it is still a very real issue. For instance while writing this app, I have been sidetracked so much it’s taken me like 4 days to write it, but hey better late than never.
