Horses are expensive for such a useless thing. Why? I propose some new ideas to give horses a use.

1. Horse teleporting:
There are some plugins that make it so your horse is living inside a saddle. Kind of like a PokeBall. Right click to release it, right click again to pull it back. This way people can show off their horse at spawn and move it a lot easier.

2. Horse Ownership:
When a player tames a horse, it becomes theirs. This means that no one can kill, ride or take items off of it. You can give a horse's ownership to another player by giving them the 'PokeBall' item.

3. Horse Warping
Horses could be a very interesting to have people teleport. Make it so you have to be sitting on your horse to use a /home or /warp. I think this would make the game a lot more fun and challenging.

4. Horse Care
Make it so your horse can die if it hasn't been given food/water in a while. If your horse is dead, it will turn into a zombie horse which does not move when summoned and you cannot teleport with it. There is a special shop in spawn that you can give a dead horse and some gold blocks to and it will revive it.

I think with these ideas everyone will be wanting a horse and their prices will actually make sense.
