Do you ever actually have something constructive to post on here? Besides complaining about the proper formatting of a list? Which would actually be explained to you in grade 11 english courses.

As you already know, I truly think you'd make a good Helper and you have a lot of potential.

Your application leaves a little to be desired, but you got the job done; I'd prefer if you'd elaborated a bit on each of the points you made, and maybe double spaced a little less, but I think people need to focus a little less on the application because almost half of the replies here focus on your application, which is far from terrible and also far from the most important thing to talk about here.

Other than your application, the only thing I'd want to address is your tendency to be on the defensive when criticised. You've gotten a lot better with your control since your last application, but it is quite important that you keep working at this; you are a very good candidate for Helper regardless, as you are quite mature and have a genuine desire to help people out, which is all we really need to ask for. I just worry about your ability to handle criticism, because a huge amount of it will be thrown at you in your work as a Helper, unfortunately.

I think if you work a bit more on your attitude, you could easily be a wonderful Helper. As of now, I'm definitely in support of an interview.

Note to everyone; stop harping on the application, and @monkeyhead1999, @iiTzJDL.., and @DarkWarriorX5 specifically, stop arguing about things that have nothing to do with this specific application. Keep it off the thread, please and thank you.

Personally, I think that what weewoo is doing is perfectly acceptable; he's not replying to everything like 'Thank you so much what can I work on?!11one!?", he's just addressing the concerns of those posting which is perfectly fine and honestly encouraged.

 

And....arguing doesn't help you.

I'm going to be honest, the only reason why your app looks long is that you made a new line for every hobby, like, dislike, and dream you have. This is not only extremely unprofessional-looking, it shows you're just trying to make the application look longer without adding any actual detail about why you want to be a part of the MeepCraft staff. Without the multitude of spacing you did, the app would be very short.
Your "Why you should be Helper" section was spaced out as well. Although Deinen and Castro are both wonderful staff members, they are not the only ones working! There are others working hard and by seeing what you said, it makes me doubt you know that there are others doing modreqs and helping out. The section was not detailed well nor did it give myself a look onto why you, out of ALL the other applicants, should be accepted.
I have never seen you in-game, and your forum activity is somewhat lacking as well.
Altogether, I honestly don't think you're fit for a position on the team. Please work on the things I suggested and what others will suggest.

Anyways, I was at a good vote, until I saw your skype activity. Skype is the main form of communication. It is very necessary that you need to be active on it. Will you be capable of that?

Introduction: Hi, my name is weewoozesty. You may not see me online very much due to my habit of being online during non peak hours.
I have lately come to frequent Halo on meepcraft as my way of getting a PvP fix.
I live in the Arctic north of Canada for 6 months out of the year and in Toronto Canada the other 6.
I currently work in armed security for G4S Security.
My hobbies include: Hockey, Music, Hunting, Archery, Curing Meats, Meepcraft, Video Games ( Doom, Quake, Unreal, Time Splitters, Battlefield, Planetside 2, Natural Selection, Age of Empires, Age of Mythology, Total War, Mount & Blade, Final Fantasy, Command and Conquer, Empire Earth, Lord of The Rings - Conquest, Starwars Battlefront, Starwars Dark Forces, Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts, Ultima Online, Everquest, Asheron's Call, City of Heroes, Aion, RIFT. Why you should be Helper? Because I feel I have what it takes to climb my way up the staff ladder and hopefully some day have red text beside my nameBecause I want to make the server a better place for players new and old alike. Because I constantly see the large decline of available staff members online sometimes for a stretch of 3-4 hours. Where at that point the trolls come out from under their bridges and get to work. Because I have never had a staff position on Minecraft ever since I started playing and I figure where better to start than the only server I play on. And lastly... Because I have no problem putting in the man-hours required to clean up the player reports in the forums. And grinding modreqs so that people like Deinen and Castro dont have to log on to see a thousand complaints in /tell and /mail as well as hundreds of piled up modreqs. I want to take a load off the current staff's back.
What are your weaknesses? My biggest weakness is my lack of knowledge about the PvP areas in Minecraft. My complete inability to work with redstone. (Weird, I can take apart a rifle clean it and put it back together simply by memory. But I cant figure out how to get redstone to work properly without mods.) My other weakness would be that while I do have Teamspeak and Skype. I am not active on them unless absolutely necessary. Or I am playing Planetside 2. I only recently downloaded Skype out of recommendation from my previous application. I can come off Immature sometimes but most of the time I can be pretty level headed and think straight when its called for. I am not sure if this is a weakness or not. But I would have no mercy on people who break major rules.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: This may not be for the playerbase to understand but more from a staff point of view.
My habit of documenting everything I do would follow into my helper position if I help players with /modreqs or forum posts. I would keep close notes on things like who complained and what they complained about. At what time I responded to their modreq. Things said between me and players of both parties for personal reference. Evidence provided to me by complainer and complainee and if able to. Bring it to the attention of a higher up staff member for final evaluation. As well as any other information I might deem necessary. So that I can support all actions I would take at any given time. I also mention that I have no problem with a "Desk job" Which pretty much means sitting on my laptop going through and completing (accepting/denying) Player reports. I also have a habit of running Bandicam all the time. So when I am online and I am taking notes. I also keep a library of videos of game footage handy. In-case something happens. i.e. Player cheating, swearing, griefing. Staff member going rogue. All those types of things. And for simple times when I want to record my feats of pure ownage in Halo.

Good App actually, I removed more returns than needed. ^^^
