30 Fps -> 100 Fps In Spawn

Hey Meepers! Today, I am here with another tutorial, one I figured out how to do last night! This will make your MC run much smoother, and much like multiplying Optifine!

1. Get and Install Optifine.
2. Open and Launch Minecraft
2. Change most of Optifine Settings to faster.
3. Quit MineCraft
4. Open launcher and click Edit Profile
5. At the bottom, you should see "JVM Arguments". Click that
6. Change -Xmx1G to -Xmx20G
7. Save Profile and Run MineCraft!

Explain?

 

The 20g=20 gigs if you don't have 20 gigs it will say invalid and in reality if you have 20 gigs if ram your minecraft launcher shouldn't have a problem with or without affecting the java allocation. You can lower theXmx1G to -Xmx20G to a minimum of 2 gigs if you have that which some computers don't.

LOL yeah, give it a lower value if you don't have that much RAM. My computer does it fine.

 

I don't think Minecraft isn't compatible with 20 gigs of RAM. It can only use 4 GB at a time. Plus, most systems out there don't use more than 16 GB of RAM.

Minecraft doesn't get the 20 gigs. Java gets the 20 it gives it to whatever program needs it whether it be Chrome Tf2 or Mc.

Pls jonneh you need 20gigs of ram to do the thing and 64 bit java

 

If you do not have enough ram allocated you will experience "heartbeat lag" (You won't like it) I use 3 gigs and it's fine

 

The hell is "heartbeat" lag? Garbage cleanup and saving to disk are the only two processes I know of that can affect performance periodically, which is what I'm assuming "heartbeat" lag is; a periodic lag spike/performance drop. Neither of those issues are an issue with a lack of RAM, in fact, garbage cleanup can and will be made worse as you add RAM.

I run Vanilla at 1080p with a 32x Texture Pack. Default amount of RAM is more than plenty. Tekkit (110 mods, IIRC) requires no more than 2Gb of RAM, and that's very generous.
