Depends on what for.
Sig Sauer 1911 would be my practical choice. I have a Springfield 1911 and LOVE it. Its my favorite gun I've shot to date. .45 ammo is cheaper and easier on your hand. You'll actually get better practicing with it.
Deagle is for ascetics. Its not really fun to shoot as a daily weapon. Ammo is super pricey, hurts your hand, ect. However If you got money to blow and arent gunna shoot it often, only once in a while to wow your friends, The .50 is ALWAYS a good time. haha
Thanks. I've shot a deagle a couple of times at the range and it does carry quite a bit of recoil. Never used the 1911 but I heard it was popular among security professionals as well as for CPL carries as well
