Smite is like 3rd person League but so much better

But I know how to play league

And it's basically the same play style with Smite, but better. One of my friends was platinum on League and switched to Smite because he likes it better.

Actually, do you think switching to an open DNS server would help? I tried it once and I think it brought my ping down to like, 70

Try wiring the lappy in directly first, see if that fixes the problem.

I don't have an ethernet cable, although, when I have used ethernet it's worked a bit faster

Sounds like you aren't making a good connection. Make sure the connections are tight, otherwise there is an underlying issue.

I don't know what you want me to check on it :p it's working fine, no wifi troubles right now, so i don't see why ethernet isn't working

The ethernet cable on the router side of things might not be plugged in correctly. Either way, check one last time and if nothing works then it's a lost cause.
