Meepcraft is still the best server there is, meep will always be the best. This is a suprise and will take a while to get used to. /Fly was the reason many people donated for "Legend" and now it's gone. I did like how it helped builders and such of that matter. But seriously; the perks aren't everything. Of course no one would really donate to get anything else except a Rank Tag (because chat color is also a perk) if all perks went down, but a few won't kill us. We should still <3 meep, and keeps community. If you liked it because of its ranks I can understand too, because you probably donated specifically for /fly or /fix or something of that nature, but it's not everything, I promise. I do like the Legend Tag and maybe it should get a few more perks IF POSSIBLE. Some that are actually useful and not just for fun like xXPoopBlockXx or not quite helpful enough to had donated $360 for. Anyways, on the subject of /fly, I understand this has been taken away and obviously didn't beleive landonator419 when he told me via Skype, and got on and asked in global if it was true or nah and quickly saw my legend tag. I knew changes had came. On the subject of fly though: my understanding is staff still has it? This is mods+ or admins or what? Do they have to comply also or no? If not, I'd really hope you guys could make it so Archs could have /fly because I know it was REALLY useful for them. I had seen someone say the flu notes should get cheaper as the higher rank you were, this is a great idea. And that work-around someone had said is actually a good idea too xD purchase infinite /fly note (maybe in Legend or Supreme shop only lol) or bulk /fix notes very cheap the higher rank you are c: haha, probably go against EULA too.

What I don't like is how presumedly we were all in the clear, it was stated how WE WERE 100% IN FACT in standards with EULA. This was either a EULA screw up with them telling us we were good then suddenly telling us we weren't good, or was it a possible staff mess up when they weren't too sure. I'd like this clarified. Now Kazarkass' thread will be brought back up, haha.

Hey Staff. Thanks for all you do for the server. I do hope that the full staff compliment will return and stay with us as staff. We have a group of excellent and dedicated "volunteers" who help run this show, and without them, there would be no Meep. Thank you again guys and looking forward to seeing you soon.....

Well... bye bye to the past..... I am trying not to think of the work done to build.rebuild.and then rebuild /pwarp mc. and the cost involved, not to mention the thousand plus spawners I still had back in alpha, the 15 million saved in gold blocks.... and the 75 million we had in our town bank of shainville, the million I had here in Shroomville, etc.....

Ok, I have lost probably as much as anyone on here, but I will say that this is probably the best of all bad outcomes. The alpha and beta worlds were badly out of date. The gamma world was good, but started off inconsistent with the spawn shop, then no spawn shop, and so forth, allowing unbalances in the economy.

If this is handled correctly, this will turn out for the best. It would be helpful if the community will come together and work together to rebuild this great server.

Just my 2 cents.....

I look forward to breaking ground on my new town soon.....

Originally, a situation like this can occur;

Three people meet in the Terrarium. A 2v1. During the battle, one of the two gets badly injured. The still healthy player would be holding back the attacker while his teammate rested. The enemy not knowing how far down he was in health, assaults the one distracting him. It's simply a switch strategy to cover for team members while also making sure they don't have a target painted on them.

With this new plugin the enemy can now see their HP, run past the distraction and pick up a kill. There is no strategy here. Not even luck. It's just a matter of looking at their HP bars and ganging up on the lowest health person. This mod has not only ruined much of the strategy in PvPing but also makes people moving targets. It's chipping away at the skill involved in PvP, and dumbing it down.

Information is the most important weapon in battle, and with it you can destroy anyone and anything. If you honestly think this doesn't ruin any strategy, maybe you should play poker while showing your hand the whole game.

 

Well, spent 52 euro (58 dollars) on Supreme. I knew even before buying it that I would regret it. I mean, come on. It is a price you would pay for a new AAA game. I have seen the period of time when advertising was enabled. It was pretty much a spam of welcomes and very VERY low retention rate of new players. Of all the thousands of people, who joined the server back then only a few stuck around.

So... why did I pay for my rank then?

Hope, I guess.

Hope, that the few players the server will retain from advertising will make a difference. That they will slowly but surely populate the worlds. Buying an AAA title would definitely be preferable for an individual, but it's a selfish thing to do in regard to the server. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I sure as hell hope the collected money will make a difference.

Don't make me regret my decision even more with things like a new thousand dollars spawn, when we have amazing architects. Be smart about it. High impact, low budget projects. Quality of life updates. Expand on existing content, don't add stuff that's obsolete.

Last but not least, a thank you for what you've already done.

I am happy with it since I play for the towns. It is unfortunate that staff get the backlash when they have to comply with these changes or have the server shut down. Thank you for the new changes so I can continue to play Meep.

 

This is why you shouldn't try to exploit the stock market.

 

So a "mysterious traveler tunneled into spawn". Where was staff when this happened? Where was anyone? No one questions a man just digging into spawn to open up a secret underground black market to sell possibly illegal fireworks to children? Reggles, Reggles, Reggles. I thought you were better then that. Now go revise your essay and turn it in by Friday!
