Hey everyone, I just wanted to start a discussion about how to represent our support for the LGBTQ+ community on the server. This server is supposed to be a safe place for any player, regardless of race, gender, or identity. I decided to take it upon myself to build a gay pride flag in Mystical's capital in order to represent their overwhelming support for LGBTQ+ players. I'd like to thank the people of Mystical and by extension the people of Meepcraft for being such a welcoming community!

 

The staff team could possibly be busy working on things for the server however you haven’t publicly made any statements for the plays. There are some that wish to hear news of the staff teams commitment and update on the movement of the server.

I understand the staff team has had a problem with communicating so do not spurt “the public do know, those that ask us know what’s going on” and act for yourselves since this has always been a problem.

I’m not overly interested in what happens to Meepcraft anymore since I play realms with friends. However hopefully a few points:

1. Reset when the server updates
2. Release this towny world afterwards to download
3. Replace staff members that are mascots or don’t have enough time to dedicate to the server in order to help move forward, especially the followers that are in leadership positions.

You know towny has no real issues on updates versions since a group of you played on a former staff members towny server to snoop about a while ago and play a short while so you do have the time for an update.

With addition to that there are no acceptable excuses, Meepcraft is lucky to be a slightly active discord server as it stands. Either admit that some of you don’t have the dedication anymore and relieve your positions or make a public statement on what the staff team have been working on and plan to achieve for the oncoming year.

This is a cinematic made by myself, in collaboration with my group, Projekt:M. We wanted to highlight Meepcraft's newly released game-mode, Towny Extreme; more specifically, we wanted to showcase one of it's unique features, the quests. In my appreciation on how amazing the revamp was, this might (hopefully) become a cinematic series as more quests are released in the future, so stay tuned!



Creator's note: I really want to improve my video editing skills on my own and master multiple editing softwares, which also motivated me to do these. If you have any criticisms, suggestions, etc. feel free to share!

I joined in the summer of 2012.

7 years later, many members of the community I grew up with are gone, but many are still active (at least on the forums lol).

7 years is a lot. I know my birthday says 1995, but I was born in 2001. I'm 18 now, going to University in August. I grew up on this server, literally. I spent all-nighters with people I have never met but were fun and relatable in many aspects. Building cities, engaging in the economy, taking on massive-sized projects, trying to create monopolies with farms, it was incredible. The memories... it truly is sad to see the server diminish in size and popularity.

Astoundingly enough, I still play minecraft occasionally. But not as much as I use to, and I'm sure that goes for a lot of you that are in the same boat as me. I was 11 when I joined this server, it was one of the first minecraft servers I had ever played on. I grinded for about 5 years obtaining the in-game ranks through in-game currency. Looking back, I'm contempt, I'm happy. Thank you everyone, thank you MeepCraft. Also R.I.P Cruelty Gaming (CG) lol.



P.S. I'm not one for emotional send-offs or anything. I just logged on and saw the community was, astoundingly, still alive, so I decided to post this in an effort to reconnect with any old servermates

Btw, shoutout to Hornemans for being the Bill Gates of my time. That guy had an absurd amount of money for years on end.

 

Some of you may remember me, I haven't played Minecraft in quite some time. I thought I might pick it up again. How are you all? I work 60 hours a week, 40ish of those being in an IT department, and 20ish of those being a truck loader at Home Depot. My hobbies these days are working out, photography, and cooking. Not sure how active the community is these days, but it popped into my mind today and I thought I might reintroduce myself. Merry Christmas!

 

Heres my run down on this

You just said you played 4-6 hours a day? How is 6 hours a day a lot, I usually would do 12 a day if I was bored to death.

As I read through your application a lot of spelling errors appeared like "Voxel sniper" and "mine craft" please go through your application and read it and fix them, Grammar is fine just fix the words xD

I am still undecided...

Why has natural selection not eliminated low intelligence individuals? People that have dark skin (think African nations and places colonized by Europeans) have an average IQ less than Anglo Saxons. However, upon examination and analysis of the global population, there are over a billion people of this race. Why has natural selection not eliminated this race? Intelligence has been proven to influence all parts of life and is a large factor in the survival of an individual. I suspect that this phenomenon exists because the requirements for survival are so basic that low intelligence is enough to survive. As global innovation continues, more low intelligence individuals will be able to survive as quality of life improves and the basic necessities for survival become ubiquitous.

 

So.. as the title says this is going to be more of a ranting thread for me, which is abnormal for me. I don't want people to think this is a cry for attention or help. Trust me I don't like other peoples pity or assistance.

So maybe not many of you know my grandmother died in the month of February. I got to the hospital about five minutes too late. I was scheduled to get off work a few hours earlier but we got busy and unfortunately I wasn't able to take off work. (I had four bosses, Brittany, Jasmine, Christel, and Jon. Jon is the center of this rant) And I went and told my main boss Jon that I'll need to take about five or six days because a recent death in the family. And his response was purely idiotic, he said "well you're supposed to tell us two weeks in advance that you need to take off." The other manager Brittany overheard what he said and she was super pissed at what he said, she dragged him to the back of the store and talked with him, He came back to me and said "Well, you're supposed to say two weeks in advance that you need to take off, but I understand in this situation." So him saying that I'm thinking to myself okay, maybe he heard that I needed a few days off. Nope, the work schedule, that he made, comes out and I'm only off work Monday when I asked for at least five or six days. He said "oh yeah I forgot about that, I'll change it." He changes it and I say thanks. (Btw this happened early February)

On my birthday this year (02/13) I had a car accident. Nothing serious at all. I was delivering pizzas, just doing my job, and this night was suppose to be bad. It was about 28-30 degrees and it started sleeting. I know when you're driving in snow it's stupid to drive anywhere near the speed limit. But I admit I may have been going a little fast (35-40mph) I lost traction therefor losing control of my pickup and I rammed the guard rail. I rammed through the first wooden post in the ground and I completely stopped on the second one. The energy made the back end of my pickup completely lift off the ground, make me look right at the road and slam me back to the ground over the guard rail. I remember call logs and this happened at 7:51pm. My dad just left for work at 6:30 and called me and told me that it's slippery outside and you need to be careful. And me being a normal person that doesn't like being told what to do just blew him off when he told me that. So when I was waiting for my dad to take off work and come to pick me up I called my manager and told him that I wouldn't make it back to the store because I just had an accident. He told me "Well you have to bring that bank" (We call it a bank but it's just a little pouch for extra money for when someone doesn't have exact change, we make it for them) and I told him my dad will not be bringing it back to the store tonight. His response.. "Well Dylan that's stealing from the store and you have to bring it in" And I said I understand the situation but my dad IS not bringing it back in. Again, his response "So I have to risk my $40,000 pickup to get your bank" I was pissed at him saying that so I said yeah and I told him to give me the owners number so I can call them and tell them exactly what happened. He said "I can't give away the owners personal information to anyone that asks for it" I was done with him at that point so I just hung up the phone. My dad took me back to the store and I dropped off my bank and when we left my dad said "Is your little bitch of a boss happy" that kinda made my night.

Next incident, I left my wallet at the tire shop when getting a front end alignment on my pickup about three days after this happened. I called my boss again, Jon, and told him that I'll need to take today off because I don't know where my wallet went and I can't drive without my license. He said "You're 18 you should know how to do all this by now" I said "I'm 18? I wish I was 18 again lol" then I said "No I'm 20 now." and he said "That's even worse you're 20, you should know how to do this by now. I'm 25 and I've own vehicles, invested into stocks, and own a place in Texas that I rent out to people" I said "Okay, I've never done this before and apparently you've done it all. I still need today off so I can figure this out and get it done and I can be in tomorrow" he basically told me that if I don't come into work today that I'm fired.

Next and final incident. This happened very recently, last Saturday actually. Saturday I was working and all of a sudden I was feeling weak and light headed and nauseous all at the same time. So I finished working my shift and go home. I was supposed to work Sunday but I asked the manager Brittany if I could take today, Sunday, off. She said yeah sure, start feeling better. Well I wasn't. I went into the doctors Monday and they tested me for the Flu A and B and then Strep and I tested negative for both. I got a doctors note for Monday and Tuesday off, luckily I was off Wednesday. So my dad takes me to my work and I bring in the doctors note and he asks "so you're just feeling a little sick" that was the first time he said that and not the last. I forget about him because he was making me upset and it wasn't making me any better so I go home and just rest. I go back into the Doctors office Thursday and get tested for Strep and Mono, both results negative. I asked for another doctors note and the doctors were fine with it. I take it into work and he said "So if a trained medical professional that's been doing this for years can't find out what's wrong with you it has to be all in your head." I said a 102 temperature, nausea, fast heart beat, higher blood sugar levels, constant headaches and let alone not eating since much at all since Saturday isn't all in my head (this was Thursday btw) So he texted me an hour or so later saying "I'm going to dock your hours and find someone else more reliable than you" Friday rolls around and I walk into work, I brought my hat and shirt and quit on the spot.

This has many loose ends and many things missing. This story could have been easily two or three times as long.

Things I didn't say. I found out why he acted like that because he's doing heroine. He made two of the other managers quit, one actually just quit tonight. And I'm the only one he treated this way.

Moral of the story, don't let people walk on you, even if they are your manager.

It was 2:30 in the morning when we done this on a Friday night so I'm not in my element but my Uncle and I decided to electrocute myself on purpose so I can feel what it's like since I've never had a shock.

So my dad died idk what to say idk what to do. Its gonna be longer till i return im sorry for everyone that was hoping for a rank soon but my pc dying my uncle and dad dying within 3 months im sad and idk what to do. I am about to be in so much debt i dont think ill be able to return anytime soon. Ya you guys probably like why she trying to return when her dad just died because its the way i cooped with it when my uncle died i loved my dad to death its overwelming me i cant stand it i stoped talking to him 2 months ago and now i regret it im so much in pain and cant even do something to get it off my mind because my pc is broke like i havent stoped crying since i heard about it yesterday. Im sorry guys i love you all but wont be back anytime soon ill miss you all but till i can sort this out i cant even do what i promised im sorry i let you guys down. Im sorry this isnt the place for this but you guys are like my family. And i need to vent somehow.

 

Wow! hard to believe it's been four years since I rejoined new meepcraft. Though I still don't play much, very cool this server has been able to run for four years!
