So how is this different from one's balance?
Your only argument here is "saving money if you go poor from dicing". How is a different "account" going to save me from that? If someone has a bad habbit of dicing, he will use the money no matter where they are.

#1 Turn OFF ALL mob spawners in towny so they can not produce mobs! (reduces towny lag and EASY automated farms)
#2 Turn ON all mob spawners in the wild. (still allows for farms but at much much more danger, and allows other players possiblity for raids on them)
#3 Remove all current spawners in the game (placed in towny or in chests) and compensate everyone at 3k per mob spawner.
#4 Revamp the Meep Trade Shops so they actually BUY all spawners at 5k and SELL them all at 10k.

Hello everyone!
So here is another idea I have. Like my other idea, this idea is not complete and I havent quite thought through everything. but.....here it is.
When I first joined meep, gold had a value that increased and decreased depending on how much was being bought/sold. This was something I really enjoyed because it really made me feel like I was on an economy server. So what I would like to suggest, is that we bring this back to meep. Not only just to gold, but to other materials if not all materials. The more you buy it, the more its worth, the more you sell it, the less its worth. Now tbh, this is an ez thing to do in the /warp shop and all. but I'm really not sure how this will affect /vshop and its shoppers. If you guys see any holes or problems in my idea please please share them!
I have had ideas in my head for a while now and I'm just now finding the suggestion area;p lol.

Today I browsed through the forums, clicking on threads, posting on a few, looking at suggestions.
And I feel that some of the additions that are happening are just... in the wrong direction.
We tried advertisements.
We tried a new spawn.
We tried hyping up donations.
These worked, but no where near enough. It's obvious that we need to focus our priorities.
Advertisements worked the best. We simply need new players. That means better minigames.
As @Deinen said very well:
"The answer it seems is to avoid spending thousands on advertisements, and new spawns until the games you host have content. Keep updating the game-modes, adding content, to keep your regular players here, and attract new ones. Doesn't matter how pretty your apple is when you're selling the same apples everyone else is. Get a better apple."
We need to get these minigames to be better. They need to be the main focus. Especially Halo, Infected, and Laserstrike. Halo is massively outdated. It's still using snowballs for heavens sake. The guns are hilariously messed up in when you unlock them and in their strength. People bounce around the map for the duration of the game. My halo suggestion was partially accepted, and the main parts were, but some weren't, which I still believe would be good additions and changes. Infected, is fun but a little dull. I haven't played too much, so I can't say a ton, but it's difficult to get into. Infected players, comment some good ideas. Not buffs and nerfs, but actual changes. And Laserstrike. Fun, new, updated plugins. But, as well as Infected, a little dull. Still fun though, it shouldn't be the priority.
But Halo, that's the priority. That should be the main focus. Its great for youtubers, its fun, its original. Imagine, just imagine, a updated Halo. One with cool new armors, balanced, cool looking guns. Cool audio. Better reloading *Edit: Not people randomly switching to holding a big R in their hand* . No more snowballs, no more frantically bouncing around swiping at each other with hammers and swords. Just imagine.
There are infinite possibilities. So many things we can do to improve the server, by using our big moderation team coupled with the architects and techs, all being showed off by the media team. We have a big staff team! All of this is possible. With enough dedication, enough work, we can get so many players back. A new spawn doesn't change that. Advertising? Worked. For a day. Then the new players slowly left. We need to get those players hooked. And I think that Halo is the fishing rod. (That was bad)
I care about this server. My 4th anniversary here will be in a month. I've seen so much here, so much potential, used and then wasted. There is so much that can be done, so much that can be accomplished. But we need to focus. We've tested. We've discovered. We know what we should be focusing on. Advertising brought back Meepcraft, for a second, to its former glory. Lets do that again, but keep it that way.Last edited: Mar 4, 2016 -

This isn't the "Remove caps filter, etc." kind of thread. I mean this would actually help some people.
(Light and Lizz already know what I'm talking about) I've already seen this on another server and it's really awesome.
Hovering over someone's name would show their current balance, rank, and town current town they're in.
(Everywhere could be Alpha, but if you're in Beta world it would show their Beta town.) Here is a picture explaining 99% of what I'm talking about.
Replace Villian with Alpha and Beta town, like @Muunkee - Alexia said.
Clicking their name in chat will automatically put /msg in so you don't have to type their name in.
example:
[Shout] Lightspeedtitan: selling potions at /pwarp potions
*clicks Lightspeedtitan's name in chat*
/msg Lightspeedtitan <whatever you want to say>
*Bold part would automatically be put into your chat bar.*

They do little else but clutter up the chat logs.
If I may suggest, why not just make it so messages only show up when somebody actually gets a prize for voting such as notes and stuff.
It'll get the message across to remind people to vote. But with less clutter and spam.
Besides all that comes up now is the Meepcraft_Is_Love name anyways. Why not just put it out to pasture.Colourlight, KaiUsesThis, Toostenheimer and 9 others like this. -

As a response to this thread: http://meepcraft.com/threads/ultimate-price.37258/ ,that is suggesting to lower the price of the Ultimate rank, I will list a couple of possibilities on new perks. I have already listed a few of them on the aforementioned thread, but since that is more focused on lowering the price, here is a brief list with perks and perks only.
1. A HawkEye tool. A tool that allows the player to monitor their own storage units and area in general. Correct me, if I am wrong, it is something like a part of the Prism plugin, staff members are using. Uses only one command: /he tool, which gives you a tool to check your chests/areas with for any changes made in the past.
2. A temporary, daily boost similar to what a beacon provides. That means: speed/jump boost/mining speed/etc. This could be achieved with a sign/command. Should not exceed 10 minutes and would be restricted to wild/towny/skyblock once per day.
3. Discounts in various areas of the game. Some examples include (not limited to):
--- Towny: Town creation, town upkeep, plot taxes, pwarp cost/upkeep
--- Skyblock: Discounts in the /warp skyblock shop when buying with cobblestone
--- Spawn: I am not sure how the shop in spawn works, possible discounts in there
4. Allow ultimates to create a portal to different worlds (wild/pvp/skyblock), that only they can use. This can be made in a towny plot. I do understand that this does not have that much of an impact (/warp <name> takes a second to write), but is a neat bonus to the rank.
5. If possible at all, let ultimates manage their chat colors. Might be really hard to implement/confusing to use, but certainly worth mentioning. I do personally find the chat colors irritating at times and hard to read. Give ultimates a plugin, in which they can change the text color of ranks/messages via commands. (/color helper blue, /color pm yellow)
6. A suggestion by @Username : Allow Ultimates to change their rank to a desired name, though, it has to be appropriate, not misleading nor vulgare. In conjuction with number 5. a player could make his new rank title a different color/multicolored, but would keep the rank brackets orange as to indicate an Ultimate.
7. A suggestion by @n00bslayer_99 : Nicknames. The ability to nickname themselves like this: /nick [nickname]. Basically, suggestion 6, but with the name, not rank.
8. A suggestion by @Cookies713 : Be able to add Lore to the object they are holding. If its a tool then it goes under the /fix warning and if its a block or other placeable object it (obviously) loses the Lore when it is placed.
9. A suggestion by @Da guggybug : /smelt , /enderchest , /vanish , those would be some great commands. Vanish would be restricted from certain areas like plots with pvp and spawn/wild
10. I would definitely NOT give any other advantages to ultimates in any Minigame. It defeats the purpose of "donating" since the activities become 'pay to win' and a nuisance to play with higher ranks.

It took a while, but I recreated what the chatlog formats would look like for each rank since the forums colored chat unfortunately just doesn't properly match what it looks like in the game. The following is what each standard player rank would look like:
In an extremely odd regular day, this is what the chatlog might look like if I was on a political rampage:
Based off of the suggested chat, my personal suggestions are:
- Change the "official meeper" messages to gray - they clutter the chatlog with yellow and make it harder to read the yellow staff member chat.
- Highlight the ClearLag warnings of some sort. Changing the "Warning" label or the number of seconds left to red/dark_red would help players to see this message and avoid dropping items, even if the red color was only on the 20 seconds warning.
- Change the standard Meep-Shouts to gray. This will further reduce the clutter of yellow in the chatlog which will make staff member messages much more noticeable; this will be especially necessary if Mod chat will be changed to yellow.
- Use the first color method. In my opinion, a yellow rank tag combined with a yellow chatlog text color simply doesn't look well combined.
If said suggestions were to be applied, the chatlog would look like this:

No server owner in their right mind would downgrade their server to satisfy a very small percentage of their player base and limit many other potential donators from joining; and of course the updated version is going to have the mast majority of players using it.
Minecraft rarely get's big changes like these anymore, and for a 6 year old game big changes is what Minecraft needs to survive.
