    Doesn't work like that for big servers. You manually set an amount, and that depends on what the setup can hold. You'd still be running the same machines the same way regardless if it was 1000, or 200.

    In Towny, players can purchase towns. I believe that this feature should be extended to towns wanting to expand themselves, so that Town X would be able to buy Town Y - just as any player would - and all of it's residents, plots, and the latter town's bank.

    I realize that there are a few dilemmas that need to be worked out - towns should not be able to become monopolies by using this feature, and that rules/guidelines should be implemented to stop this from happening. Next would be the town upkeep question. Obviously Town X would suddenly add Town Y's upkeep to their own. Possibly, there would be some type of rules concerning whether Town X can buy Town Y if taxes can't cover the combined upkeep or if it would leave the bank balance greatly diminished. Speaking of taxes, that is another issue I'd like to address. As with any change of the rules or taxes of a town, residents of Town Y should have a proper week's notice that their town is being bought by another town. The rule and/or tax changes should be listed along with the notice, since, I imagine, Town Y would take up the current rules and taxes of Town X. Another, though hopefully lesser problem would be the combination of both towns' outposts. I would imagine that Town Y's outposts would re-number themselves so that count starts when Town X's outpost count ends if Town X were to buy Town Y. These are the issues that came to mind, but I imagine I missed something either for lack of attention or knowledge on the functions of Meep.

    I believe that town annexation would be a great benefit to the server. Players with new towns who are having trouble expanding, could then buy a town to add on to their own, adding to their popularity value, their resident count, and more. It would also allow town sellers who care for their town but for some reason can't/won't hold on to it anymore to be confident that their town will continue to prosper in the care of another town. Town annexation would strengthen town relationships and give a big business opportunity to many. I understand that this is a huge task, and that I may have overseen a large issue with this, but I really hope that whoever reads this suggestion would consider this as a possibility for the future.     Alpha, Beta, and Gamma make the economy system very confusing, players now have two meeble balances instead of one. Considering Gamma's currency is currently the only currency that is worth anything, alpha and beta are now in the process of being abandoned. By deleting alpha and beta, we minimize confusion with new players having to choose between three towns worlds, and also help concentrate towns to one town world, making this new towns world fresh, exciting, and active. If we keep alpha and beta, these two worlds would eventually die out.

    I think it would be beneficial for the server to have one economy instead of two, every transaction would be made easier and the server would be more like a true economy server.

    If people are concerned with their towns being deleted, the introduction of Gamma essentially deleted your town already by swaying all incoming new players to it. Make a new town in gamma!

    In dealing with my usual job, aiding noobies, I get asked this more than any other question. It is something we often have to ask ourselves even after we are experienced players on this server. It is a question that creates answers which make players stay or leave: "What do you do on this server?"
    Problem
    Obviously, the most common answer to this is "Towny!" Just saying "Towny" does nothing for new players; most of whom didn't even know it existed. Whenever I say, "Well, you can play Towny," about 75% of all new players ask me what it is. Clearly, Towny is not a well-known gamemode. What we need is something else to do. Sure, you can play minigames, but they're usually empty (another subject entirely). All the stuff you gather in Wild and the money you make goes towards things related to Towny. Thus, we get loads of new players who have no idea what they're doing trying to start their own town with no experience. So when they run out of money and their town falls, they quit. Thus, I think we need something else to do with the economy aspect of the server.
    Changes
    One idea I thought of to take advantage of this is to make Wild unique. Sure, we have the "custom Wild," but how do unique trees really make people want to stay? So my idea is in two parts:
    Part One: Remove Custom Wild Plugin
    Before you all instantly hate on this, let me explain. I completely agree Wild is a unique part about this server. However, what purpose does it really serve besides aesthetics? A noobie will never stay on this server because we have a bunch of unique trees and a couple of stone structures. There are several disadvantages to Custom Wild, though. Firstly, it is very slow when loading new chunks (for some people). Secondly, it messes with natural generation quite a bit. The way the plugin generates custom structures makes them overlap natural terrain, resulting in trees being cut off by a stone brick well. In addition, it has created an extreme lack of balance in biomes. This reset, Mesa biomes were added back into the generation, so now they're everywhere. Same thing goes for Extreme Hills. Mesa, Extreme Hills, Savannah, and Forest biomes are so incredibly common, it makes everything blend because they all have the same structures. I can't say for sure, but I have certainly not seen a single Ocean biome! Jungle and Ice Spikes are virtually nonexistent as well. Now, I don't want a plain vanilla world; because that can get really old, too, which is where part two comes in.
    Part Two: Add Custom Dungeons
    As I said, the custom wild does not really offer any advantage, it is just aesthetic. What if we had a different kind of Wild entirely? Rather than this Wild having a bunch of small, random structures, how about adding additional dungeons such as these:
    (Skip to 3:10 if you just want to see structures)
    Now, these are structures that can be added in Vanilla, but only with command blocks. I'm not suggesting we have somewhere in Wild with a bunch of command block generators lying around, but incorparate similar dungeons, one where you can actually get loot, into a plugin. Basically, all these would do is give players something more interesting in Wild; as these changes can be underground as well. Once again, I'm not saying copy these dungeons in this video into some plugin and slap it right in, but find or make a plugin that adds dungeons instead of just structures. If you look at the past few updates of Minecraft as a whole, you will see a pattern: 1.8 introduced the largest natural structure to be added thus far, with 8 gold blocks within (Ocean Monument), 1.9 revamped End generation; adding End Cities with the one of a kind Elytra, and finally, 1.10 added village generation to Taiga biomes, and modified the wood they generate with (Villages now generate made of the wood found in the biome, such as Savannah villages being constructed of Acacia wood). This data alone tells me people want more dungeons and challenges; so why not make our own Wild unique by having our own special dungeons?

    Obviously, the loot within these dungeons should be balanced. Personally, I think they should include various enchanted books, perhaps a few of the common spawner types, and a few minerals. I don't want it to be as unbalanced as End City loot (You can find diamond armor enchanted with Prot 4, Ub 3, Mending, and Thorns 3 in those things).
    FAQ
    -How much work will this be for techs?
    Obviously this is the biggest question for every suggestion. If I am truly honest, I have no idea. I think it could be very easy, or very hard; depending on what we do with this. If any of you think of a custom Dumgeon plugin, feel free to add a link below!

    -Why will this make new players want to stay?
    As I explained, by making custom dungeons in a normal, vanilla world, it seems new and exciting when you discover not just new structures, but that they have loot! Face it, everyone loves stumbling across the normal structures because they know loot is inside. Depending on the difficulty, it could even be a challenge for more experienced players.

    -But . . . I like Custom Wild; why should we remove it?
    Firstly, I have never met anyone who stayed on this server to explore the custom Wild. It is similar to the "Eggplant" filter, it seemed really nice at first, and served its purpose, but now it's gotten old for a lot of people. People are always complaining in Global about being bored, so why not hunt for a tough Dungeon instead?

    -Won't this ruin the economy?
    No, it will not. Provided the loot tables are balanced to about the same as Desert and Jungle Temples, we should be perfectly fine.
    Summary
    While this seems small, it could be a lot of fun for more experienced players with nothing to do. The Catacombs dungeon in the video above requires most people to eat Gapples to survive. Dungeons that difficult would be a lot more fun than the aesthetic structures of the current plugin.

    Just wondering if you guys think its a good idea for rewards to be given for certain achievements or a form of item redemption in the hardcore server to the main server. Of course I don't think the same should apply from regular to hardcore, you would simply be able to cash in hardcore items/achievements for money on the main server.

    Allow investments like we used to have in gold, but not only gold. Also diamonds and iron. This could give people various things to invest in, and it is something they could make money off of. We did this before and it worked well. Do it again!

    In my opinion a dynamic map for towny in Meep would be nice and useful. People can locate open areas in this map and then just go to the co-ords so they don't have to spam /random to get their desired location. It would also show the cool towns in towny. Tell me your opinions!

    I see ban appeals where the person claims to have been banned for 2-3 years and then it turns out to only be 1 year or less. This probably isn't a huge suggestion, but I feel like it would be a lot easier on the player to know when they were banned if the staff member includes the date when you get banned. I think this should be on perm bans only just because if you get temp-banned you don't need to know the day of you banned if you're gonna be unbanned anyway. So just have the staff do /ban VKL_ReWinDzz too legit 2/4/16. I understand that the staff can check for the day you were banned (maybe) but it'd be a whole lot less work for the staff if the person put the date they were banned on the ban appeal instead of the staff having to go look for it.

    this may be kinda dumb but it's 8AM and I'm bored so I just wanted to make this thread

    So Listen up, this is my Suggestion. New Towns World.

    Why? Regular Towns is semi boring. You can't walk 300 blocks from a town to not find another one. It's hella annoying.

    This new towns world would be called Delta, ofc. smh.
    This Towns will not be like the others. This town is going to be something completely different and revolutionary.

    This town's world will include custom terrain!

    This Towns world will be entirely exclusive to itself. Meaning If you have $10,000 meebles in the regular server it's worth less here.
    The hub of the new towns world will have a shop set up. Did I mention you can literally build anywhere you want in this new towns world? Yes that's correct, You can build absolutely anywhere but here's the catch. You can build anywhere you want, but it's entitled to being griefed if the area you've built on isn't claimed by your town.

    Summary
    New Towns World
    Basically the Wild, but it's the New Towns World
    Only items and money made within this towns world may be kept in that Towns world.

    MeepCraft is a Towny server right? Why not introduce something like this, step away from the regular Towny routine! No Risk no reward!

    AND YES BRING BACK FACTIONS/TOWN WARS FFS

    So in the past 3 years I have been on this server, I have seen the Target Audience Age go from 16, to 14, to 10, to 8, and to the current 5.

    This is absurd. There is no merit and idgaf about the Staff's "I don't want my child exposed to this." nonsense reason. So if you have a child age 11, I'm sorry to inform you that in this day and age, they probably know all but two swears in the English Language, at 12 they know em all. Now I'm not saying we should allow every swear, i'm just saying your reasoning is BS.

    I am suggesting that we go to an Age 10 audience, and by age 10, I mean MODERN age 10. I say we should allow the basic 5 swears: hell, damn, a**, s***, f***. Because honestly, if you let your kids on the internet, they know the words...

    All the current target does is make people annoyed and doesn't help bring new players, because 5 year olds aren't browsing for servers.

    Also the things I put are basic logic. TV, Internet, Videogames, BOOKS.

    This might be a bit far out but I thought why not suggest it.
    In Pokemon, certain Pokemon like zigzagoon, teddiursa, and others had an ability called "Pickup"
    What this ability did was while you walked you Pokemon would randomly pick up items and you could take the items from the Pokemon. c:

    Why not add this to pets so when you would walk around with your pet out it would be able to pick up random items for you. And make it so the more expensive the pet is the better the "Pickup" ability is.
    Like I said this suggestion is a bit far out but I just think that pets should have a bit more purpose other then following you.

    Items could vary on the pet too such as :
    Iron golem picks up iron or iron tools/items
    Rabbits can pick up rabbit hides or feet
    I don't plan on putting much time into a full item list unless its actually considered or if I am asked to but I do have great ideas!
