Add unlockable kits in kitpvp for non-donors and lower ranking donors. These would cost about 50k meebles to unlock, and would be about as powerful as the exclusive/elite kits. This would serve as a way to make kitpvp more fun for lower ranking players, while removing some money from the economy.

 

While I agree with the rest of your post, and laud your professionalism through this flame war, I'd like to say that I didn't really find this the case. For example, with Cleaves510, upper staff banned Cleaves without consulting @legendcaleb or me first, and refused to unban him even after @legendcaleb and I spent the greater part of two hours presenting facts in a logical manner. Ultimately he did get unbanned, but in this case I felt that the opinions of those experienced were not respected.

I'm glad that progress is being made, especially in terms of the Bluapol case, where the accused was quickly unbanned after evidence was found to be legit (I didn't see the proof myself, so I don't know). However, if he was indeed legit, you would understand that as members of the community, we'd be concerned about the recent surge of individuals being falsely banned. While we see your side of the problem, you should understand that a) it's extremely disconcerting to see people being accused of offenses they didn't commit, and b) that such accusations and bans would be easily preventable with the implementation of PVP staff, or at least consultants to verify that people aren't indeed hacking.

 

I would think that how family friendly this server is, a plugin that encourages coupling, kissing, or other acts would be discouraged. Is the crowd within the server old enough to deal with such issues as marriage?

 

Reggles I see where you're coming from but seeing that it is a supremod job to make reports on the people of the team that aren't admins or other supermods, I think it is beneficial for supremods to see this forum. Personally, it was very helpful to me to see if a certain staff member wasn't doing what they were supposed to, then I could investigate into it. It's not an admins job as much as it is a supermod's to check on things like modreqs and the way they handle interactions w/ the community. Like, that's the supermod job description basically.

 

There was a suggestion that I actually liked it was something like;
Admin: Red
SuperMod: Orange
Mod/Helper: Yellow (remember when helpers were yellow!?)
Ultimate: green/cyan
Supreme: Cyan/blue
Elite: dark purple tag
Exclusive: light purple tag
Prem: Black tag
Vip: brown tag
Cit: white tag.

I liked this because of the color organization. Right now, the color is organized in no order imo; red, blue, cyan, orange, purple, light blue, yellow, blue, green? It makes you wonder.

The only problem with this is that a lot of people are really used to the current colors, and this would get very confusing.

Aside from that, I'm +0; I think yes, orange is unappealing, but it'd be hard to adjust.

Assuming she is someone's mom and gave birth it is impossible to "pop" a mom.... So yeah... I don't really get this.

 

I have no idea where you are getting your statistics, Empo, but they are either just wrong or grossly over exaggerated.

This is already done. I don't think people should be paid to report hackers, because most people care enough about the server and about having fun in kitpvp that they do it anyways.

Furthermore, why the hell are you talking about two hour bans? I'm sorry, but a hacker has never been banned for anything less than seven days, so I have no idea what you are talking about.

As for 80 or 90 hackers a day, gimme a break. The most I've banned in one day is thirteen, and half of those were player reports from at least a day ago. The most I've personally ever seen banned in one day is 19, if I remember correctly.

The idea that you are saying 60-70 hackers get away with it every day is just silly.

I get where you are going with this. If someone reports a Supermod I don't understand why they can see and comment on their own report. Yes, Supermods are originally trusted more and have a slightly different job, but at the end of the day we are only human. They are capable of making mistakes and also doing unsavory things. Not even sure they should see them, but that's my 2 cents.

 

Buying custom titles is wack, I find the chat atrocious with all the different colours and names.

If we didn't change, and Meepcraft had to be shut down, I would have nothing to do on Minecraft. I'm being completely honest here, Meepcraft has been one of those things that just sticks to you and never leaves. I've been here for almost four years, I don't want to see this server go already.
