When did you join Meepcraft? Sometime in 2013
Introduction: Hey everyone, I think most people on here know me by now to some degree but I figured I would talk about what has changed with me since 2017 when I last applied. I am now starting my second semester in college with a business (accounting) major. I've also taken a greater interest in my own music and art and have been doing a lot more in general outside of playing Meepcraft.
However, over the last month or so, I have found myself back on the server a good bit and have been wanting to reinvest some of my time back into the community, especially with the coming revamp and the possibility for things to kick back up. I really enjoyed my time as Helper and Mod in 2017/18 and for the time being I feel like it's a responsibility I have adequate time to retake.
Why should you be Helper? As a helper before, I felt like my strongest suit was connecting with the community. I had always been diligent with helping newcomers learn commands, find worlds, and etc, however my work getting to know regulars within the Meepcraft playerbase helped me become an influence for respectful and fun behavior between players on the server. It is one thing to stop player conflict due to the fact you are a staff member with the power to ban/kick/mute. It is another thing to be able to understand the way people operate and use that to resolve the conflict in a peaceful way. This is something one can only achieve through mutual respect, and I believe I have that aspect of respect in the Meepcraft community.
I believe this care and respect for the community also gives me patience in dealing with others. In terms of concrete in-game advantages, I am quite confident in my building ability and knowledge of commands. I also believe I am an excellent problem solver and can articulate situations and problems very well in my mind.
Projects outside of normal modreq handling was one of my weaker areas as a staff member, but, if my schedule can cooperate, I would like to do more for the server outside of moderation.
What are your weaknesses? First, I'd like to talk about some of my weaknesses on my last application. In terms of my sense of humor, I have toned down a lot of my edginess, and I believe the way I interact with people has changed a lot, most being owed to maturity coming from age. There's a lot of things I did and said when I was 16 that I look back and cringe at, however I don't believe it ever became a major problem, which I am glad for.
In terms of forgetfulness, this just seemed like my anxiety playing itself out through my staff application haha. I do struggle with anxiety and focus issues but I don't believe they will have any bearing on my work as a staff member.
A new weakness I'm now able to articulate much better is that I find it difficult to communicate ideas and disagreements I have. I'm not by any means shy to speak my mind, but I struggle to take what is inside my brain and relay it in a way that makes sense to others. This can result in me instead choosing to not share my ideas and stipulations, which sometimes makes me appear as if I don't compromise well or work well with others. I also tend to be individualistic, which can sometimes be a fault; these are things that I am working on continuously throughout my normal life and I also would plan to work on them through cooperation with the staff team.
This is more of a situational than a personal weakness, but I am in college now. I am doing well in school by my personal standards, and I intend to keep it that way. If I should decide that I need more time for school and other personal facets of my life, that time will have to come from nonessential areas, like Meep. I intend to budget my time well and I am confident I will stay active, but I cannot guarantee as much activity as I was putting in previously. Even if I cannot remain of the staff team for a very long time, I believe any time I am able to help with be beneficial and valuable.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Thanks to all my references and friends!

When did you join Meepcraft? Late 2012
Introduction: G'day everyone. My name is Tyson, I am an elite on Meep. I am 15 years old as of a few months ago and live in Adelaide which is a city in the Land Down Under. You can find out I live in Australia by checking my 4 bar ping on the tab list. My hobbies are Tennis, Music, Maths and of course Meepcraft. I enjoy getting outside for a run, socializing and watching this amazing Australian T.V. show offspring (go check it out). I play the French Horn and love the instrument. I happy with where I am in life and wouldn't change anything even with its ups and downs, having friends to talk to, if it's on Meep or irl makes me happy and consider myself lucky to be where I am. (A dry rock with bad internet). If you can't tell I like to keep my positive pants on.
I am currently doing grade 9 at school and I am never one to say no to an opportunity to get involved in sport, music or other activities run by the school. This year I am on the school robotics team, the school tennis team, the school's senior band, boys choir, junior orchestra and a few other smaller things. This is the second year I have been at this school, at the previous school I was also involved in lots of school groups/committees. I was a member of the Student Representative Council as well as the school Grounds Committee. In both of these important decisions were made with help of students like me about the school.
I have been on Meep for almost 4 years, however, I haven't been playing for 4 years straight obviously. Through 2015 I didn't play at all and only re-joined at the start of this year. I have had small breaks here and there to get on top of my school work. I am actively trying to meet new people on TeamSpeak as I appear to have outlasted many friends as recently most have left the server.
At school I perform well getting good grades in all subjects however, it's really important for me to get a good balance between Meep and school which can be hard for me. I don't just play Minecraft I also enjoy all games and I have recently been trying out the game cities skylines and I have really been in enjoying however Minecraft is my first priority. I also have a passion for computers and good quality equipment which is a bit of a downfall as I spend way too much money on peripherals.
Why should you be Helper? I went through 2 years of school having IRL friends as staff members, sometimes I would feel a little bit left out and once I even applied for helper (couldn't find it in the denied section as it was ages ago). After I applied the first time I settled on the fact I wasn't ready for staff yet and my time would come. After waiting for ages I feel the time for me is soon. I am at the peak of my Meepcraft life having more knowledge and skills that I could ever imagine. When I joined this server I was a noob, now I know almost every inch of the game and Meep.
My extensive database allows me to help players with information about the game where other people might not have. I myself accept that I don't know everything or anywhere near close to everything and I am prepared to ask questions about anything I don't know the answer to. I am a self-motivated learner and take my opportunities when I can to participate in Meepcraft events and to help out as much as possible.
During school 3 years ago my good mate and I ran a Minecraft server for the younger student to play on at our and enjoy at school during lunch times. I got a good taste of helping people out and managing issues, stopping them from getting out of control. I learned lots about moderating and controlling situations from this while having a good time.
My experience running the Minecraft server gives me an understanding of what it is like to deal with people good and bad. I get annoyed sometimes at why people don't just follow the rules or why people do stupid things. This experience has taught me how to control myself and how it's important to handle the situation calmly.
I love communicating with people however if you tell me a secret I will take it to the grave. I am good at talking to people on TeamSpeak and I feel I have good communication skills which can help make a person new to TeamSpeak feel more comfortable around me. I can make conversations out of thin air and make the saddest of people have a good laugh.
I am a logical thinker and always try to think of the best possible solution to a problem instead of acting on the first idea that comes to mind. I am good at problem solving and thinking my way out of any problem without having to act harshly so I can find the best outcome for everyone. If I make a mistake, mess up, do something stupid or anything of the sort I am not one to go home and cry about it I will come up and confess and fix the problem. Going with my logical thinking I feel it's illogical to hide something which will inevitably be discovered and you'll be worse off.
I spend the majority of my time playing Meep in the downtime where there can be anywhere from 30 to 8 people online. With my Australian time zone, I can help out when there is one or no staff on the server. Although my Meepcraft hours aren't crazy good it’s not about the time, it's the way you use it. I am confident that I can manage my playtime well and accomplish the roles of Helper and more within the hours I play on the server.
I am one of the most loyal people you will meet. This is partial because I feel bad if I let anyone down and I also like to strive for the best I can achieve. I was in the same clan in Clash of Clans for almost 3 years. Even when the owner of butterland became inactive I kept working hard and kept the town coming along.
What are your weaknesses? Peer Pressuring - sometimes if people are nervous about something I can pressure them a lot, for example, trying to get on TeamSpeak. Recently I realize putting all this pressure on people isn't nice and I need to let them do stuff in their own time.
To forgiving - I accept that if people do something wrong then they deserve to get punished however if anyone says sorry in a ban appeal I will always feel bad to deny the person even if they have been given multiple chances.
Communication - I spend most of my time on the server on Teamspeak as well. This often means I overlook global chat and don't talk as much as I would like. To help fix this I made global chat larger so it takes up lots of my screen and that appears to be helping along with me taking part in more conversations in Global.

Introduction: Hello, many of you may already know me due to my past years spent on Meepcraft, for those who don't my name is Noblefish_ and I am a weird british 17 year old with a weird fascination with triangle shaped food and collecting games in my steam library. I am currently studying law which sometimes spins me in circles and I enjoy going to college (The coffee is really good.) I always try to throw my all into any activity I attempt which currently happens to be streaming and staying up late playing games with friends.
Why should you be Architect? As many of you know I was previously Architect for meepcraft and therefore know what the job entails (There's more to it than most people realise.) I feel that despite my attitude back when I was previously Architect I have matured to the point that I will be able to fulfil the role of architect with a passion that I wasn't able to display in the past. I have large amounts of experience working in any styles and working with other people in order to create impressive builds of a large scale. I always strive to achieve the same breath taking effect that builds sometimes give me so that I can pass that awe and inspiration to other builders in order to create amazing builds and a constantly evolving building community.
What builds have you completed on the server and where might they be located? I have created several builds across meepcraft over my time playing, a large amount of my builds would be located in the Architect creative worlds which I abandoned due to the fact that I didn't feel they were of the quality I would prefer to be linked to my name, however there are some builds in towny (for example my house, which you can find linked in the imgur link at the bottom of the page.) There was also a build that I completed a large amount of for Summrs (Daemonosaurus helped copy the wall design I had previously created along the side of the build for convenience.) I also created a current hunger games map which can still be located in /warp HG.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Despite the "Drama" surrounding my demotion/resignation a while ago I feel that I need to clear it up, I made an immature decision to provoke a member of the staff at the time I was Architect, I do regret my decision as I was clouded by an air of rage and was not thinking clearly, this however is no excuse. What I did was wrong and I would like the chance to redeem my actions through the action of building for the server. I feel like I have matured to a new level and have built up relationships with a large amount of the online community associated with Meepcraft and other Architects around the world.
How much experience do you have using Voxel and Worldedit? I have a large amount of experience with WorldEdit due to the large length of time that I have been using the plugin, although as always with world edit there is always more to learn due to the sheer size of the plugin. I also feel I have the knowledge to work effectively with voxel sniper due to the large amount of time I spent practicing and playing with the vast amount of tools and knowledge available to me.

Introduction: Many of the people on Meepcraft know me as Jalapenos, but my name in the real world is Geoffrey. Ever since I was a small child, music has fascinated me. The way the notes flow in such a perfect procession, one after another creating a song that sounds unique to all others just seems mystical to me. This of course drove me to delve into the arts myself. At 8 years old I picked up a guitar for the first time and ever since then I’ve been playing. On top of my passion for music, I’ve also developed quite an ‘addiction’ to video games. A video game in particular, being Minecraft. I started to play this game about four years ago, and for the first year I was completely foreign to multiplayer. When my friend introduced to me this new ‘multiplayer’ aspect of the game, I was ecstatic. Never did I think I would be able to collaborate with so many others across the world doing something I enjoy so early in my life. Nevertheless, I came across many different servers in the next two or so years, but none I really stuck with. But I then came across Meeprcraft. Meepcraft was a server that I fit into and one that I stuck with me over a year now, because it accepts everyone who is nice. The fact that Meepcraft is so welcoming to kind people is the reason why its community is so kind on the whole. The Meepcraft community brought an aspect to Minecraft that I thought I’d never see, and it most definitely made the game more enjoyable.
Why should you be Helper? I feel that I would be well suited for the helper position due to my affection for the Meepcraft community. Ever since I first joined Meepcraft I fit right into the community because I always felt that if I needed something someone would be there. Whether I was confused with a few commands or needed a friend to play some HG with, someone would come. Over my year of playing with the community I have developed a keen understanding on how to healthily interact with players. I’ve always found it quite easy to calm down someone experiencing anger while still moderating the emotion I feel myself. This helps me turn situations that could have gone terribly wrong, up with a positive outcome.
I’ve also developed strong problem solving skills thanks to programs in my school. I enrolled in both the Model UN program and Debate team which require one to analyze and resolve situations based on their factors. Model UN required my team and I to brainstorm a way to provide food for impoverished countries in Africa while not conflicting with the beliefs of other countries. This was very difficult but eventually we came to a sound compromise. As for debate, my team and I had to convince a third party as to why our side was right. This taught me how to be very persuasive in situation while still maintaining a professional tone, which can be very useful when dealing with arguments between players.
What are your weaknesses? A weakness that has always haunted me have been my insecurities. A lot of times when I talk to people I feel as if I’m being judged harshly even though I know that I’m not. In the recent past I’ve been working on this and I have made a large amount of progress. I’ve become better at talking to people and more comfortable with it as well.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I used to own a server which had a 30-50 player constant. My experiences with the players on there will benefit me as a helper on Meepcraft, in my opinion.LadyCassandra, Jess_4Ds, iMelXP and 10 others like this. -

When did you join Meepcraft? November 24th, 2014.
Introduction: Hello there! My ign is TheAngelEclipse, but I am most commonly known as Tae. I am sixteen years old, and in my Junior year of highschool.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my dad, two brothers, sister and two cats, going camping all summer long, and many other things.
I currently work at McDonalds and have been since April 2015. My school-work is very important to me these last two years as I have big goals of attending college after I graduate, but I'm also making sure to pick up as many hours as possible to save up for a number of things. My first car, a new laptop, and a community service/volunteer trip to Costa Rica in the summer of 2016 being just a few examples.
Why should you be Helper? I aim for my work with other people to be nothing but exceptional. I'm very honest, patient, and when it comes to dedication to getting things done - I really go above and beyond.
Self-control is not an issue for me at all, as I am able to see where my input is or is not necessary. In the case of a close friend of mine caught hacking/griefing, whom were to be perma-banned and I did not feel capable of doing it, or if I am dealing with an issue that I get overly stressed about I am very decent about going to others for help.
I treat any and all members with respect; regardless of who they are, and their current or past actions. Everybody is innocent until proven guilty, in my eyes. No matter what - reacting to issues immaturely or irresponsibly can cause you to sever the trust and respect from other members and/or staff. This is something I see as very important and wouldn't do, regardless of whether or not others would look down on me. Treating people disrespectfully, dishonestly or irresponsibly is just not part of my nature.
I love the connections you make with most people while on a staff team. It's right in the name, team. Teamwork and communication is essential - both of which I am very capable of showing. I like to say I'm more of a follower than leader, but I've noticed when I see it fit, I'll gladly jump in and take lead and I proudly do my best to set great examples for others. Being a positive role model to others is something I am always proud to claim the title of.
The reason I want this position is because I am able to see the positive, negative and even neutral side of things. I know my strengths and weaknesses and I enjoy talking to and helping others. Also, having the ability to participate in taking care of modreqs would be a great opportunity to step up and really get more involved with the community. Everything has it's positives and negatives and with my ability to see all different perspectives of issues, I want to help improve this server and better the experience for everybody.
What are your weaknesses? I don't have experience staffing on larger servers or with an enormous amount of commands, though I have been Co-Owner and Admin on many smaller servers, most were just starting up from scratch and had little to no members. I have gotten to experiment with a few commands, but I believe it's nothing like here. Although, I am a very fast learner and reach for perfection. If there is something I am not doing quick enough, or well enough, I am always willing to use my excellent problem-solving skills to improve my ways.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I understand I have been decently inactive recently, but I assure you that this will be changing. I've chosen to apply now because I can see the staff team could use some help and I know I'm capable of filling the position.
"I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do."
If you have any questions, comments or concerns and would rather ask anonymously - feel free to ask me here; http://ask.fm/theangeleclipse <-- Also a great way to get to know me. Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have a wonderful day/night!

Some of you already know me, and some don't, however I've written an introduction many times, and I don't know how many times I can repeat the same thing in different words. So I will be open, and give you some personal information about me, so you can know who Deinen0 actually is, for good and bad I suppose. My name is Matt Sawyer and as of last week Wednesday have been married for 12 years. I have four children, three girls and a boy, the boy I had the pleasure of delivering myself at home.
When I was seventeen, I began working in the screen print industry, which I've done most of my life for work. I find this a great profession, as it takes a hefty amount of experience to become really good in, and requires intense concentration, but offers a lot of pride of your work; however the cycles of the season are of high and low. Two years ago, trying to avoid the cycle, I moved on screen printing signs instead of textiles. The company, in reducing it's printing department, laid me off which has lead me to enter a third stage of my printing career -- Working from home! I've been able to use the networking I've gained over the years to simply sit at home now by taking orders then contracting a shop to print them for me. Some of you may ask why I decided to give you a tutorial of my work life, but this is my preemptive strike against the "Why are you 30 and still playing Minecraft? (Or Why are you 30 and on MeepCraft so much)
I began using computers at the age of 6, with the help of my father. He introduced me to something called "BBS" which was quite literally formed most of my life, childhood and adult. A BBS was something that primarily existed before the World Wide Web, using a text based platform to offer services such as text rpg games, text games, chat rooms, ftp service, and more. I spent a great deal of my child-hood on BBS, until I found MUD. A Mud is another text based (Generally RPG) game that came into occurrence during the early days of the web. This offered a greater player base (400-1000) and a different play on classic games. I have spent many years playing different games, all with great communities, and gameplays. However MeepCraft is something that I've discovered is entirely different. This community ends up turning into a psuedo-family, where most communities I've left I've never retained friends from. MeepCraft I've met many players that I truly consider my friend, and I hold a special place in my heart for them. MeepCraft, and it's community is special.
I feel I am qualified for the helper position because of my experience, which starts back at MeepNetworks. During that era, I learned how to become a brilliant helper with a combination of patience, professionalism and dedication. I pride myself on the way I handle modreqs, because I believe this is fundamental to the entire ideology of being staff; good customer service. I think a modreq should be done in an efficient manner, yet comprehensive, and ultimately making the player (customer) walk away with a smile on their face, glad that you were the one to answer their modreq. Often times a helper has to deal with issues that aren't immediately solvable, I have a superb record on being able to put down an issue for a time being, while waiting for information or additional help, and returning to the issue and player in a timely manner.
I have in depth experience with hawkeye, and many of it's subtle ways of searching. When I have to deal with issues such as theft, or grief, I don't solve it like a problem, but treat it like a case. What I mean is that I not only check what is in front of me, but I will search the surroundings, to find clues, to be able to give some sort of reliable, and honest answer.
I am comfortable reading the chat, and can quickly identify and react to offensive/illegal statements in a fair, and impartial way. Impartial for me is that even though I might disagree with a policy, I understand what having a job is, and I will enforce the policy as long as it is one. This goes for any policy, not only those regarding chat offenses.
During my admin, I specialized in the role of public relations more than anything else. This meant I dealt with any number of things, from angry players to bad issues in-game. I did this by talking with a player, explaining our position, and listening to these. While I was not always able to solve every one of these issues, I took their words with me, and did what I could with them. The most important factor I think to doing this well, is to not take their frustration personally, or getting offended by them if they become discontent, or insultive. I have many examples of me being able to become quite good pals with the very people who hurled the insults. As well as I've been able to end player's feuds and begin working on a more jovial relationship. I believe this is also a good thing, because in-fighting in the community poisons the greatest thing about this server, the less there is the better for everyone.
During my time, I have learned a great deal about the server, and it's commands. With this I am able to troubleshoot many problems quickly and efficiently. If the answer is not immediate, I have no qualms with taking the time to research the problem to get to a solution.
Most importantly, I understand that moderation isn't just kicking and banning, but trying to form behavior. While I will issue a ban if someone clearly commits an offense, if there is any way to prevent it from happening, I will always try this first and foremost. I find working with someone creates respect between the two, player and staff. Respect is the number one tool, in my opinion, in the job of moderation. If a player respects you and who you are, they are more prone to listen and heed your suggestions.
On my first application I remember, I wrote, "I am many weaknesses, but none that would effect in game." That was a naive thought at the time, I soon discovered, too many times. I'm a human, and I'm not the best human. Just recently I lost my temper at two players, UglyUnicorn and Krazycat. It's not something I am proud of, but it led me to a lesson. The lesson taught me to consider age much more often, as I don't consider age immediately when I see a screen-name, I wrongly assume we're kinda all the same, in many ways.
On top of considering age, I still need to work on the way I write, or express myself. This at times often comes out more blunt or rude than I intend it to. Where in real life, I often talk to people differently, kids I use a softer voice or adult I use my more normal voice. On the internet, I tend to forget those nuanced niceties. This leads to situations where I can be more frank to other eyes than my own, and this is something I have worked on, and will continue to do so.
I am lacking in teamspeak, because of several reasons. While I am on for anything needed, I do lack in activity because my house is a loud, and busy place. It's quite hard to have many conversations going at a time, and to add that to many teamspeak conversations is that much harder. Once at night and it's much quieter, I like to listen to music, watch a movie, and that is hindered by teamspeak. Most of all, though, I just enjoy text communication more-so than voice, it's more suited to my needs and more orderly.
I can be considered critical, and while I always try to be respectful, weakness 1 and 2 most likely hinder this effort. If I disagree with something I will make it known, and encourage debate with the issue. I feel that lengthy discussions are always a productive endeavour, but I can take it a bit too far or write one too many essays. Some in the past have called this anti-staff, but it is truly not, I never sit and bash on a member, or mistakes they make, because we all make them and it's how they learn. I understand how hard it is to be staff, and to deal with it daily. But I also remember when I was staff, and when I messed up Notchbeard would almost always take me to task, this made me a better staff.
The biggest error in my staff career is one I will never hide, I was caught spawning in 30 million meebles in gold. This happened last December, and it is something that will always cause me regret. However I feel it is regret that I've earned, and all I can try to do is prove myself otherwise. This is an error that I will never make again, nor any other error of this severity, or type.
My last stint as helper ended rather shortly, this was because I wasn't on MeepCraft as much as I felt that a staff member should be on. This seemed unfair to the others at the time and I felt it was best to leave staff service to make room for someone else that could be online as much as would needed.
With the staff numbers shrinking, I've decided to apply because I feel they could use the help, and because I want to help. I require very little training, and I feel I can impact the server in the most direct way, modreqs and customer service.KariStar86, Akiratohiama, KaiUsesThis and 10 others like this. -

Introduction: Hello, my name is Courtney! How are you doing today? So, here it goes. I attend college three days a week and I work at a preschool as an assistant teacher two days a week. I am currently going to college to get my RAD Tech degree, which means I will take x-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds. My time spent elsewhere is usually on Minecraft and I have no shame in that at all. I have been playing Minecraft for maybe a year and some change now. I joined MeepCraft February 26th 2014. I am a Co-Mayor in two towns one in Alpha and bbycakes2012’s town in Beta(Gotham). She has been so helpful from day one, she’s the reason I play meep now! I date her older brother and have been for almost four years and we currently live next door to each other, so yes I see bby all the time. We gave each other that nickname a long time ago one day and it has stuck! I could talk and talk all day but ill move on to the next section.
Why you should be Helper/Mod? Oh goodness, the big WHY? Well, simply why not should be my answer. Why would I not want to be a helper? I am super confident in my abilities to learn and be helpful to others in any way possible. I have held onto this application for a long while until I felt like it was the right time to completely ask for the position. I am all about helping people, can’t ya tell by my college major? Becoming something so notable and honoring wouldn't be much more than the icing on the cake. I am currently active on TeamSpeak and forums, I get on more frequently when Emily gets on too because I can walk over there to her house and we can play together. No that doesn't mean I only get on when she is but I love the choice of having someone to play Minecraft with. I know pretty much all the towny commands and some helper commands just by simply watching her and knowing how to handle different situations. I believe in myself 100% when it comes to making decisions. I honestly think that I would be able to handle any situation thrown at me and could make the right choices for everything that happens. Also superbros1211 said “Apply for staff then we can have two bbycakes on the staff team. Like a mini cake and a big cake and you can be bbycakes2” So I am totally taking the advice! Although I am not so sure about changing my name… hmm. I understand the rules, I know policy, I am very professional (when I need to be) meaning usually I just like to have a lot of FUN but I know when it is time to be responsible.
Weaknesses: Yeah, so I tend to let people run over me which is bad thing. I tend to get really upset when said harsh things to or slandered. I am working on it just having positive reinforcement’s helps a lot. It is hard for me to accept constructive criticism because I put my mind to something and I don’t like being told that I’m doing something wrong but if I am I like to be told that it’s alright or give positive feedback. Getting yelled at doesn't help either, I don’t like when people play the “I’m higher than you” card because you are no more or less than a human being than me. I also cuss a lot, I have a dirty mouth but I’m not so sure how to overcome that but normally I cuss to myself anyways. Although as I've heard on teamspeak that I am not the only one with this problem! Also I find it really nerve racking to talk first, I love to talk but it is hard for me to begin a conversation so once I get out there I’m sure I will overcome that fear. For example say I am being put on the spot for the first time, when I am asked a question it might take a few minutes to calm down and answer it to the best of my abilities. I am not slow I just get really nervous because I don’t want it to be what you are not looking for. I have already suggested two different ideas and one I got put down majorly and the other I was told was a phenomenal idea which makes me feel 100% better than how I felt getting talked down to and called stupid but I understand that sometimes not everybody will like your ideas.
Conclusion: All in all I do believe in myself and my abilities to help others. I think I would be a wonderful asset to this server because of some of the ideas I have in my head. I understand that it takes time and effort to get where I want to be but that won’t happen unless I try. You should always believe in yourself no matter how many times people tell you that you can’t do something. I am always on skype because it is on my phone even though it’s not a requirement for the game, I usually get on teamspeak also and play the game all in one. Oh the joys of a computer that can run all of it at once! I do believe that I would make a great helper and I know that there is always room for improvement. I sure hope I covered all of the main points that I needed to and I hope you consider my application, thanks for reading! If there is anything else you would like to know do not hesitate to ask. Position Changes: Helper to Moderator
Introduction:
Hi there! I'm KariStar86, and I'm a Helper here on MeepCraft and mayor of the town Kakariko in Alpha. I started playing Minecraft in January of this year, and in early February I joined MeepCraft. I came for Towny and stayed for the community! In late June, I became a Helper, and I love being a part of the staff team here. I'm excited for the future of this server and would love to become even more involved in helping it as a Moderator.
As for my life outside the computer box... For a few years I worked as a newspaper reporter, and for the past several months I have been writing for a nonprofit. In my spare time, when I'm not playing Minecraft, I do yoga and volunteer at a local animal shelter. My husband and I have two pet birds, a cockatiel and a parrotlet, which you probably know if you've ever talked to me on TeamSpeak.
Why you should be Mod:
I have learned a lot in these past five weeks since becoming a Helper! I started out knowing almost nothing about Hawkeye and staff commands, and even after training, it took me a little while to feel comfortable with them. But since then, I've built my confidence while handling almost all basic types of modreqs and bans. I've helped new players find their way around the server, helped new mayors start their towns, done troubleshooting when players come across a glitch, and stepped in to mediate when players are fighting. I have also responded to cases of griefing and theft (in both Towny and Skyblock), luring and tpakilling, trespassing, and illegal kicking of residents (they worked it out). It can be hard work, but it's also very rewarding when I figure out the missing piece of a puzzle, or when I know that I've made someone's experience on the server even a little bit better.
I ask a lot of questions... probably too many, sometimes. I want to make sure I'm getting it right, because some things can be confusing, and it's better to double-check than to make a wrong ban or mess up an investigation. The Mods and SuperMods have been incredibly helpful and patient with me! Lately, I find myself answering more questions from other staff than I ask of them. This shows that I've gained the knowledge and experience to start guiding new Helpers myself, and I want to be a more consistent resource and leader for them as a Moderator.
I also would love to be able to take a more direct role on the forums, make sure that our community members get help as quickly as possible, and continue to encourage positive and productive discussions. I'm quick to notify staff on Skype when something needs to be deleted or addressed. As a Moderator, I could lend a hand and take care of some of these issues myself. In-game, I do enjoy answering modreqs and helping people out, but also I look forward to taking on more of a moderation role to help protect the server and its players.
My in-game time is a bit limited, especially on weekdays. Knowing that I need to watch how I manage my time, I try to spend as much of it as possible doing staff work. Whether it's replying to modreqs, investigating cases, answering people's questions, or just keeping a close eye on chat, I make sure that my first priority is the server and the players on it. But that doesn't mean that I've disappeared behind the curtain! I still try as much as possible to help my town residents, stay active in shout, be part of the community on the forums, and talk both in and out of the staff channels in TeamSpeak.
I make sure to listen to the community and pass along what I hear, because I want to help players have a voice in this server - no matter their rank or position. I am also very active in the staff Skype chats, and I make an effort to get to know the other staff members, learn all I can from them, and contribute ideas whenever I feel it would help. I'm happy to talk with other players on Skype, too - to help them solve problems or just to say "hi"!
Weaknesses:
It's probably not a surprise that I'm still argumentative and opinionated! I'm continuing to work on thinking more about how I come across, making sure that I am kind and don't push things too far, listening to others carefully, and addressing concerns in the appropriate manner. I have made sure to keep my disagreements with staff members among staff, and I think some of those have turned into pretty good discussions that helped us understand each other.
Some of the larger griefing cases I've taken on have frustrated me - mostly because they take more work than I expect, and I start to wonder if I'm just not doing it right. After a while, I realized that I'm not the only staff member who has had these frustrations. The good news is that we're a team, and we don't hesitate to help each other out - doing extra modreqs to cover for someone who is busy, trying out different commands and searches, taking screenshots and videos, or talking to different players to figure out what happened. Other staff members have helped me out this way, and I'm glad to return the favor when I can! I do believe that I'm ready to take on the challenge of more complicated cases and investigations.
I have yet to handle a case of X-ray, glitch exploitation, or PvP hacking. I feel confident in my ability to identify at least some examples of the first two. In a few cases, I have begun investigating only to find that others have gotten to them first! But I admit that spotting PvP hackers is a weakness of mine. I have tried to check out reports in KitPvP, but I'm still learning what to look for and record. I do want to be able to help with these cases, so I plan to continue learning about this and making efforts to investigate when I can.
Conclusion:
I believe I am ready for the Moderator position and the additional responsibility it brings. I'm looking forward to learning even more while leading the community and other staff! Thanks for reading, and any feedback you have - whether positive comments or constructive criticism - is welcome and appreciated.Lady_Hestia, CrohnZero, BooBear1227 and 10 others like this. -

Introduction:
Hello everyone! My name is bbycakes2012 or you can call me Emily! I Have been playing meepcraft since January 2014. I'm 18 years old & I will be 19 this July. I'm a very active person, I love running cross country and playing soccer. Cross country is my favorite thing to do besides play meep! I placed second In my region last fall and 56th in AA school division at state in November & I'm looking forward to running again this fall. I'm a Senior at BHS & I get to graduate early this December. I plan to go to college in Florida fall of 2016. I like to play video games a lot. I played MC on my xbox for over a year before ever playing MC on a computer. Since I am still kina new here, Many of you may or may not know me in game or on forums. I don't think I am very "Well known" or "popular" on meep but that's okay with me because I play for my love of the server & the experience! I bought premium after playing Meep for around 1-2 weeks, then in April I got Supreme. Recently, I have received Ultimate as a gift from my boyfriend. I have many friends on Meep and have experienced many fun things. I plan of staying around for a long time, helping as much as I can for this server to grow further, regardless if I become a helper or not.
Why I should be a helper:
I've given this a lot of thought if I should apply or not, whether I'm qualified or not. I think I could be a good helper. I know I can eventually be a great helper! I have good work ethics and determination to be able to give a solution to a problem quickly and efficiently. My love for the game, for the community and the experiences that I have had during my game time makes me confident that I can be of much help to any new members or old members of the Meepcraft community. As I already have been helping new and old players alike in my town and in shout for a few months. Due to my patience, my passion and my determination, I can be capable to assist any mod-request to the fullest of my capacity, in the most helpful and respectful/mature as ways possible.
Weaknesses:
1) I know many commands yet I haven't mastered them all, sometimes it takes me a minute to figure out what one to use in a situation ( like /plot set commands).
To get better at that I'd just have to start using them more. I'm co-mayor in my town & I'm starting to use these commands more frequently.
2) I'm not active on teamspeak at all, I don't really like talking on it.
I guess that's something I will just have to get used to and get over it the more I'm on it & the more people I begin to talk to!
3) I think in the fall (September - November) I wont be able to play as much due to my senior classes. I will have cross country practice every week day & work 3 days a week after practice & meets. I can still play but I will have to focus on school more due to its importance.
4) Last but not least, I don't think I would know the right /ban times/legnth or requirement of that. I'm worried I would wrongfully kick or ban someone for the wrong reason or be too slow at it. But I'm assuming I would go thorough some kind of "training" to learn all this & it just takes some time to learn how!
CONCLUSION:
I believe I am qualified for the helper position because I'm determined and a good worker. I'm more then willing to take the extra time to learn anything I do not know or correct something I have wrong or done wrong. I'm more then willing to own-up to any mistakes I may make or have made in the past or future. I can get what I need to do done and make sure I do my job right and not joke around. I'm a very friendly & easy to talk to person who likes to have fun on meep like everyone else! ( I don't want someone to think I'm not any fun & serious all the time!) My love for the community and the server altogether makes me believe I could be a good staff member!
Thank you for reading.

Hey, here I am again. Some of you may know me as IHAS or FP, I've been here for almost 2 years and have played on and off obtaining multiple staff positions throughout the way. I've never been demoted off staff, only resigning a couple times when it's time to take a break. But it's time to suit up and get back on the team. I started playing again about 3 weeks ago after a couple month break in order to gain some reputation with the new people and learn how the server works at this stage in the game. I'm now comfortable with both the mechanics and the community to get going again in the ranks.
There is no doubt that I have a person have proved myself in the staff system at this point. I, as said, have been mod on and off without problems (Well maybe that killeryi ordeal was a bit out of hand, but I handled it.). My experience with working with staff ranges from building parts of the old spawn and city parkour to working together to crack multimillion meeble duping cases (A_Pink_Sheep and his multiple alts for example.). My investigation skills have developed well and it's time to put them to the test again. Lets talk about every mods nightmare, those modreqs. I've done thousands upon thousands of these, I can handle almost any situation or question that comes up without fail. Not to mention I am not afraid to dive into those stacks of 50+ modreqs head on. They give me something to do and honestly, it's a good way to meet new people.
I have never, not once, not presented evidence with any of my cases. All my ban appeals have been handled fairly and presented all the evidence needed to prove someone guilty. There re the occasional bans that are misunderstandings and they get sorted out, but it happens with everyone.
Of course, we all have that one downfall. Personally, I would say, and have been told, that I can be blunt sometimes and it can come off as rude in game. I don't know if I as a person can fix this, but I can definitely work on it, learn from mistakes in situations, and keep rule without being too forceful and blunt.
At this point, I'd like to sign out. But lets recap. My skills and experience is unmatchable by most people in this community. I have proven multiple times I am capable of this job and finally, I'm responsible with everything I do.
A final thanks, IHAS.Empoleon_master, KaiUsesThis, Jinkeloid and 10 others like this. -

Bob444444444444444444444,
I wanted to start out with honesty. When you applied for helper, I seen you as a hot-headed, immature little player. I didn't think you would ever do well as staff... I was VERY wrong. From your interview, I knew I had had the most ridiculously wrong impression of you from the start. You are smart, eager to learn, a SUPER fast learner, and are probably one of the friendliest people I have met in a while (outside of one or two others). You have proven me wrong from day one. I am nothing less than impressed with your work as staff so far. I don't think you deserve anything less than a chance at Mod. Good Luck, bud!
