Introduction: Heya~ I'm Minted Cinnamon, or just Cinnamon. I'm a Senior High School Student, currently taking a strand related to STEM or Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. And during my Junior High School Days, I was one of the editors on our school, which means, I am one of the persons responsible for making banners for events such as sports events and competitions for the entire institution.

I enjoy playing video games, mostly Steam games such as CS:GO and Battlerite, League of Legends and osu!. I also watch anime and read manga in my spare time. And also, when I'm bored, I sometimes make art of any kind using either my trusty graphic tablet or simply a pen and paper.

TL; DR - I'm a gamer, weeb, tech-savvy, artist, uninteresting person.

Why should you be on our Media team? I should be a part of the Media Team because of these following factors:

Experiences - I'm currently a Graphics staff on a GTA:SA Roleplay Community, and have also been previously a part of a Media Team/Public Relations Team as well on an another GTA:SA Roleplay Community called OG-RP , so I know how the media works and what to do.

Consistency and Knowledge- I have been working on editing both graphic and video content for the past 4 years and counting so I'm pretty sure I can offer something to the table. I know how to use my editing softwares effectively (Adobe Photoshop & Sony Vegas 14) since I have been using them for a considerable amount of time.

Flexibility - I'm always eager to learn and explore new styles of editing and content creation, and always open to constructive criticism and feedback. With that in mind, I gurantee that I can work on any requested content of any kind for everyone to enjoy, as long as it's within my capabilities.

And most importantly, I really enjoy making graphic and video content, moreover, making them for great communities such as Meepcraft. I truly enjoy playing in Meepcraft, which inspires me to help this server grow by sharing the word and showing others how amazing this community is.

Introduction: Hello Meepians, my name is 2004grevous (a.k.a Eikichi_Onizuka_) and I’m a 15 year old who lives in Greece. I’m in my first grade of high school, although I don’t really like school, so I focus my time and energy on other things that I enjoy, which include: English lessons (My English is pretty bad), playing video games, and doing sports. I’m a really athletic person, although I’m not very good at most of the sports I play. However, 2 years ago I started Freestyle Wrestling and found that this is a sport that I’m actually pretty good at, and really enjoy. Now I’m training and trying my best to be selected to participate in a competition in a year from now. Other than sports, I also enjoy reading and listening to music. I read just about any book-genre, although for music I have a strong passion for metal.
I joined Meepcraft in the middle of July 2012, and was instantly taken back by the large player count and all the things to do. I made friends and joined towns, and ended up becoming assistant in one. Unfortunately, the mayor quit and so the town fell soon after. I found a new town shortly after that, however a few days later, Old Meep met it’s end. A few weeks later I was forced to quit Meep due to computer problems. I visited Meep from time to time, although in the middle of 2014 I officially came back. There were lots of new players to the server by now, and so I made lots of new friends and joined a new town. I’m still in that same town I joined, now as the mayor, as teakizz99, the previous mayor, quit.

Why should you be Helper? -Experience
I have been in Meepcraft for quite a long time and I have seen the progression of the server as time goes by. I have experienced many events such as the reign of CrueltyGaming/the fall of Old Meep and watched it rise once again.

Almost for the whole of my time in Meep, I have had a town staff potition. This did not only gave me experience in towny commands but also the ability to interact effectively with players, teaching them the basics of the server and making them feel welcomed both in my town and the server.


-Involvement
Even though my In-Game activity has decreased a bit the past month due to me studying, I am very active on the forums, trying to participate effectively in any interesting discussions going on. Also, as I am always looking for new residents to join my town, my eyes are always pointed on the chat; a place where people usually ask questions to which I always do my best to answer.

-Work Ethic
Even though I am not like that In-real-life (I get distracted easily), as Meepcraft points out my interest I am always concentrated on what I should do at the moment. When it comes to doing something that I am passionate about, I will put all my effort into the task and make sure that the job is done well- and helping others is one of the things I really enjoy.

-Dedication
Even though I have not played in many servers, Meep is the only one that has managed to hook me like that, and especially for that long amount of time. The server is truly amazing and the community is awesome and unique.

What are your weaknesses? Immaturity/Self control: Every now and then, I would act a bit stupidly and do things that a 15-year old wouldn’t do, or say things that I would regret after some seconds (not anything offensive, just immature). , I am trying to change this by re-thinking what I want to say; I believe I actually have made a big progress already but still not good enough.
Lack of knowledge of Helper commands: Even though I have been a Moderator for a short amount of time in another small Skyblock server, this was almost 2 years ago. Back then I was unsure about what I should/could do with my abilities and ended up helping no one.
However, I have no experiences with Prism and other tools that staff use, though I am willing to try my best to learn what I need to learn if I do get the position.
TeamSpeak: If accepted, I will find a way to manage to do the interview and attend staff meetings, however I feel uncomfortable talking with “strangers” (nothing personal guys ), as English is not my native language.
Despite this, I have managed to go on teamspeak and talk to some people a few times (mostly my old mayor) and managed to communicate pretty well I believe. However, when in a big group of people, I would get really anxious and feel uncomfortable.

Introduction: Hello all! I'm xXAdotXx, but you can just call me Adot. I live in Ontario, Canada, and I am in Grade 10 (or in my sophomore year, if that's what you call it). Some of my favourite subjects in school include French, English and science. I really want to live in Montreal for a while when I graduate post-secondary school, so I intend on taking French all throughout high school. In the future, I'm thinking of either a career in English, probably something like an editor or a publisher, or sports medicine; something like a physiotherapist. In my Grade 9 year, I was on the honour roll for both semesters, and I'm hoping to achieve the same this year. I'm not involved in any clubs in school, per se, but I am actively involved in school sports. I don't play a sport in the fall season, so I can have some time to get myself organised for the start of the school year. Winter season is my absolute favourite, because it means I get to play hockey with my school friends. In the winter season, I play for the varsity girls hockey team. For school hockey I play forward; left wing to be specific. During the summer season, I play for the varsity girls soccer team, and I play goalie for that team. Last year, I was nominated for the Rookie of the Year award for both teams for our school's athletic banquet. I won the Rookie of the Year for hockey, but not for soccer. Outside of school, I play rep hockey in the winter and house league soccer in the summer. I just recently made the Midget BB team for my hockey organisation, which is the second tier team. Hockey has been a part of my life since I was about 7 years old, and I want it to stay with me until the day I die. It's taught me a lot about myself, and every year it's different, yet familiar. There's something about slapshotting a puck that really relieves stress., and something about smushing some sassy chick into the boards that just takes the anger right out of ya. Soccer in the summer is just something I do to keep active. As well, I run occasionally with my mom.

Apart from school and sports, some of my hobbies include reading, writing, listening to music, watching Netflix or YouTube, hanging out and talking with my friends and gaming. I want to talk about writing, because it is something that I really enjoy and want to pursue in the future. Before I started writing, my mind was always filled with ideas of dystopian worlds, and I found myself daydreaming a lot. Once I started to put my ideas to paper, I've been more focused, and my head isn't crammed full with writing ideas. Onto gaming, some of my favourite games are Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, Mortal Kombat, the Sims and Minecraft. One of my all-time favourite games is Minecraft. I discovered the PE version first and I fell in love right from the start. You can literally do anything in this game. It's a little mind blowing. And it keeps getting better with every update (well maybe not 1.9, but that's a whole different topic). Minecraft has just been a great creative output for me, and I am so glad to have discovered it.

Now, this brings me to my time on Meepcraft. I can't really pinpoint to exact time I found Meep, but I think it was mid to late 2013 (me and by brother used to share an account, and I played on that one before I joined Meep on my current account). I was a little on and off in 2014, in terms if playing time, but early this year I rediscovered it, and was instantly addicted. There's something about this server that makes me smile. Every time I log on, I can't help but get excited. What will Meep have to offer today? Who knows! Of course, one of the biggest things I love about this server is the absolutely amazing community. Ever since I started to get more active in global chat, forums and on TeamSpeak, I realized how much I was missing out on in the past. I've made lots of new friends, thanks to Meep, as well as bonded with existing ones. Everyone on this server has something unique to offer. You all have jokes to crack, a story to tell, or even just some small talk to make.

I started to take an interest in being a Helper at the beginning of the summer, and over the past few months I've been researching and creating my application. I can go on, but this intro is already too long.

Why should you be Helper? After months of pondering, I've picked some traits about myself that I believe make me a good candidate for being a Helper. My leadership skills, my organisation skills and my maturity.
I've had lots of experience with being in a position of leadership. I would say that I am a natural born leader, and I love to be in charge. I babysit for friends and family whenever needed, and was a kindergarten helper back in elementary school. As well, starting mid-October I will be volunteering for a fundamental hockey organisation that teaches little girls the basics about hockey. Also, I refereed U9/10 and U12 houseleague soccer this past summer. The U12's had attitude sometimes, which caused a bit of a difficulty at the beginning, but as I progressed I was able to prove my point that I am the referee, and what I say goes. Not only did the players have attitude, but the coaches. Coahes would try and argue calls, but I was able to show them that I made the right call. This means I can be firm and strict, but friendly and accommodating when it's needed. I am good with kids, which is quite a large fraction of Meepcraft. I have a lot of patience when it comes to helping kids, as well as older players. I have been to leadership camps and classes where I've literally been taught what a good leader is. As well, A few years ago I was granted the title of one of three Assistant Captains of my hockey team. From that experience, I learned what it was like to be in charge of a decent amount of people. Not to mention that they were rowdy hockey girls. As well, I learned how to take charge in situations with little to no organisation. I also figured out how to properly deal with people who broke rules. Lots of the time it was inter-team drama. An example of my leadership on Meepcraft, is that I am the mayor of a town that I started back in February. The number of residents wavers between 15 and 30 people. I've just recently had to deal with a case of theft in my town, and I was able to settle the problem. As well, in the past I've had many town rule violations, and I was able to deal with them in the proper and professional way, according to the town rules I have set in place. I take being a mayor seriously, because being in charge of a town is something that I can learn a lot from, and those lessons can be transferred into real-life situations.

Moving on, I am a very organised person. I am always one to hand in assignments and papers for the due date. I am also able to manage my time very well, to plan my night. For example, let's say I have hockey at 8:00. I'll do some of my homework at lunch, as well as work on it in class. If there is anything left, I do it immediately when I get home, and still have time for an hour or so of Minecraft. Last year, I was able to play on two competitive hockey teams, keep up with school work and still score all above 80's on all of my classes. During all of that, I was still able to have time each night to go on my computer. There isn't really any other way to elaborate on this, so I'll leave it there.

Lastly, my maturity. I consider myself mature for my age, and I've been in quite a few situations what require lots of maturity. I won't get into the depressing details, but I will tell you guys that I've dealt with some pretty sad times and still am able to maintain a smile on my face when I wake up in the morning. I've had people come and go. Over time, I've lost good friends, dealt with probably too much ridiculous girl drama that has escalated way too far, I've lost loved ones, and it's molded me into the person I am today. Tough experiences were used as lessons. I learned how to be mature before I even knew what maturity was. I still have fun whenever I get the chance, because I more or less missed out on quite a bit in times of trouble. I'll stop with all the mushy gushy sad stuff now. Again, I'll mention the point that I have a town of my own that I run mostly on my own, and I am able to keep it in order. I am very proud of my town, and hope one day to see it grow into a big city (my gosh do I sound like a mom). I also want to mention my mind-over-matter mindset. Another way you could say this is that I am a determined person, and when I put my mind to something, I will put my best interest into it. Overall I feel like I am a responsible person, and I feel like the next step in my Meep career is to be a staff member. I believe it will be an awesome learning experience for me.

What are your weaknesses? Again, months of pondering. These are some things that I personally think are my weaknesses. TeamSpeak/ confidence in speaking, my inexperience, and my independence.

First, TeamSpeak. I go on TeamSpeak as much as I can, don't get me wrong. The problem isn't that. The problem is that I have trouble with having enough confidence to actually join a chat room, and I sometimes just end up sitting in the lobby listening to the lady say "User entered your channel" or "User left your channel". This goes hand in hand with being shy. In global chat on the server, it's different. You aren't actually talking. TeamSpeak is something I only got a little while ago, and I'm still getting used to talking with real people (wow I sound like the world's biggest introvert). Once I start talking though, I am able to get along nicely with other Meepers and I start to feel more and more comfortable as the conversation goes on. I am improving quite quickly with this weakness, and I'm gaining confidence as I meet more and more people.

Second, my inexperience. I have not been staff on a server, let alone applied for staff on any server, so I don't know any commands; I don't know anything really. With that, I am a quick learner and am able to pick up things fast once they are taught to me. As well, I know tons of commands on the server itself, and would be able to help right off the bat in that way. I have also been doing a little research to introduce myself to Prism and how it works. Over the past week I've been searching YouTube tutorials and such to learn the basics about it. I know that new staff are taught these commands, this is more or less just a heads up that I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff. But I am eager and willing to put time into this so I can further my abilities as a Minecrafter in general, and develop some new skills that will be useful in the future.

Lastly, my independence. For me, I'd say it's a weakness. I always prefer to work alone when it comes to projects and such in school. I don't like to work in groups that much (unless it's a group of my friends, or people I know work well), because I want to be sure we do an awesome job on whatever we are doing. When I work on my own, I am sure that I can get work done, have quality work done, and also make sure that I am the one responsible for anything if it goes wrong. Like instead of one person in the group making a mistake, and everyone losing a mark, independently I would lose a mark because I made a mistake, and I can learn from that and improve, rather than placing the blame on someone else, which I hate doing. It makes me feel just more secure, I guess. This kinda relates back to the shyness. Lots of the time I just silently do the work while others make conversation. Even with people I know I find it hard to talk with them! Wow! I am awkward! With my independence, I am able to work with people well who have the same drive or goal as I do. I always try my best to include everyone in decisions we make in the group. Recently I was in a situation where I was in a group that did literally no work at all, and I ended up doing all the work. It stressed me out to a breaking point, and it was the most stressed I'd been in months. But when I do things like do all the work, I basically dig myself into a hole. But once again, all of these weaknesses are things I try my best to work on as much as I can, so that one day I'll be able to overcome them.

Introduction:
Hello all! As most of you know, I’m fang. I have been on this server for almost a year and a half (August 14th), and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Along the way, I have made fantastic friends that show me how to improve, mentors that guide me not just through the game but through life, and amazing people that I still have yet to get to know. Outside of Meepcraft, I play soccer and am (now) the captain of my ultimate Frisbee team. In school, I’m going into my sophomore year and taking all advanced courses, including Academic Decathlon. I enjoy playing Frisbee, eating food (yum!), and of course, playing Meepcraft.

The WHY:
Experience: My time as a helper has given me the experience and the knowledge of commands I was lacking when I first applied. I remember the first few days I had helper, I barely understood how to claim a modreq. I can now effectively use hawkeye searches and logs to help with all sorts of problems, from scams to griefings. My experience has also taught me more on how to interact with even more different kinds of people, and in all different moods – upset, satisfied, angry, happy... I’ve learned so much, from how the basic system works to how to do the more complex modreqs. now I feel I’m ready to move on to the next level of staffing.
Dedication: Meepcraft is the first server I ever joined. It’s also the only one I play on continuously. Being here for almost a year and a half has only made me love it more. This drives me to continue to do my best to help the players and better the server.
Community involvement: I strive to be a part of the community, talking often in shout or messaging other players while I’m not doing modreqs. I try to continue to talk with and play with my old friends, and be involved with the community in any way I can. Remembering that I am not only staff but a player lets other players feel more comfortable talking to me and telling me if I’m doing something wrong, which I can then improve on.
Work Ethic: I try my hardest to do my best, all the time. There have been times when I’ve faltered in this, and I have learned and moved on from those experiences. Though quantity is good, I try more for quality. My work ethic, along with my dedication, pushes me to do my best, whether in school or in game.
Leadership: As a captain, I gained the experience of working with more experienced players as well as having to teach players utterly new to the sport how to throw a Frisbee. Similarly, as a moderator, I will be expected to assist the helpers in their new positions and teach them what being a staff member means. With that experience already under my wing, I know that I have what’s required for leading the new helpers in the right direction.
I believe I am ready to take the next step in my Meepcraft journey, and then to guide others on their way. Being a moderator would allow me to be even more invested in and in love with the server and the community than I am now.

Weaknesses:
Age: Like I said on my helper application, most people don’t consider age a weakness. But as I’m going into sophomore year and viewing my commitments already made, I see that my schedule is going to be tight like last year. However, I have set aside time for Meepcraft, so this should not be too big of an issue. Age (due to my parents) also limits my mic use, though they have been less strict about it lately.
Teamspeak Activity/multitasking: I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t go on Teamspeak a lot, for two reasons. One is how much my parents limit my microphone usage, and the other is the problem of multitasking. I am good with the ability to multitask in the sense I can do multiple things at once; however, talking to more than one person at once (for example, both in game and on Teamspeak at the same time) confuses and distracts me from doing the most I can do for either person. To work on this, I will try to either be on Teamspeak only when I am not working in game, or when I am not in game at all.

Introduction:

Hello Meepers! My name is Rich Huey, AKA MCRichHuey, and I'm interested in becoming a Helper. I'm an older player, here on Meepcraft because my kids play, and I have found it to be a kid-friendly, welcoming environment that I would like to be a greater part of. I've shared some of my thoughts about the server already on the forums, and I'm currently working on a couple projects that may be helpful in the future if I become a staff member, such as modeling the economy and finding ways to make a bunch of money. I'm a fairly regular visitor to the TeamSpeak server, where I maintain a low profile, speaking up when necessary to calm down some of the more aggressive discussions. I have experience running a private friends and family server (currently offline because Meep is more fun) with most of the current public plugins used by Meepcraft (Towny, etc), so I'm familiar with the command syntax needed for most moderator tasks.​

Why you should be Helper/Mod? (Strengths)

1. I have 20+ years of experience with online communities, both as a participant, and as a moderator/admin. I know both how to start AND end a Flame War, as well as how to starve a Troll. You may have heard that the cake is a lie, and that an arrow to the knee was unpleasant, but I remember how to avoid the Grue!
2. For most players, I'm old enough to be your dad, and I'll tell you when you need to straighten up and behave. I'll also do my best to answer questions you have about most subjects, and offer advice from my years of experience.
3. I like to have fun, but not at the expense of hurting or mistreating someone else. This is game, but it's real people on the other side of the screen. I try to use wisdom when dealing with interpersonal situations, and try to hear out both sides of a story before making a judgement.
4. I'm a professional computer geek who has been playing Minecraft since it was in Alpha state, and seeing a community like Meepcraft which has sprung up around some fairly simple modifications to the server code intrigues me. I have some experience writing plugins for other games, and one day I would like to have the opportunity to do the same for Meepcraft.

Weaknesses:

1. Limited amount of playing time - As an adult with a full time job, my recreation hours are limited. I would like to spend some of them here on Meepcraft, helping to grow a better community. I wish I had more time to offer, but sadly, I do not. This is probably my greatest weakness concerning Meepcraft at this time.
2. New to the community - I've been playing on Meepcraft for a couple of months now. Not as long as many of the players, but long enough to learn the ins and outs of the economy and the social structure. Like Santa Claus, I know who the good kids are, as well as the troublemakers. I don't have issues with most of the policies in place on the server, I'd just like to see them enforced more reliably.

Conclusion:

I'm a parent, looking for a greater role in an online community where my kids enjoy spending time. I have the skill-set to be an Admin if needed, but at this time, I'd be happy to just be a Helper and contribute in any way that I can.​

Introduction:
Hello Meeplings! My name is Ian McShane (no relation to the actor) I joined MeepCraft back in late 2012 and got hooked on day 1. I am an aspiring musician and I play Piano, Vocals, Bass, and guitar in my free time along with MeepCraft of course. I graduate from high school in 1 week and am planning on taking a gap year to do some full time work and save some money. After my gap year I plan on going to New Hampshite Technical Institute for a year or two and then transfer to University of New Hampshire, major in Computer Sciences, and eventually end up being a software developer. I currently do lots of coding in my free time as well in several different languages and have been in 4-h and robotics programs for many years now.

Why I should be Helper:
I have had multiple staffing rolls on different servers including helper for 10 weeks a few months back on MeepCraft. I have also maintained a job as a lifeguard for most of my high school career which is something that not a given ability for everyone my age. I have also had many leadership roles in 4-h and in robotics leading kids from many different age groups.

I do believe I have a good ability to maintain a global perspective in situations in game where personal bias or conflict is possible and remain completely pragmatic and fair.

Since I recently started playing Meep again, I have made it my goal to make everyone's experience on Meepcraft better. I recently realized that is far more gratifying to make another person's gaming experience better than my own, even though my own experience is better when I help others. A good example of this is my new Twerkville drop party project where I raise money to do drop parties for the whole server. In just 4 days about 700k worth of items have been given away. I also enjoy doing things like buying free ranks for people with in game money who need them.

As for work ethic, when I am doing staff related work, I treat like a real life paid jobs as it should be treated. I put the well being of the community as a whole over the well being of me as a player. MeepCraft with all it's new additions over the past year can be a very confusing server to a new player and I do believe Helper or no Helper it's my job to try and be as welcoming, informative, and helpful as possible so answering a modreq is something I consider far more important than hosting my casino.

In general my activity on the forums, in game, shout, etc is very high. My one area where I need work is Teamspeak activity which will increase after graduation and over summer.

Weaknesses:
I can tend to be cranky when I don't get enough sleep.

Side Note:
This is where my one worry in this application lies, however it's something that must be brought up.
I own my own personal server and I do help out another small server with dev stuff. I understand MeepCraft's policy on other server involvement, however currently my goal in both these communities is to serve the current members, there is very little I need to do keep them up, and I think my MeepCraft involvement, activity, and dedication speaks for itself. If it is required however I will hand off any time consuming responsibilities to others within those communities and as for my server just continue to pay for it and keep it live for it's current community members. Currently with my server I am running no major ad campaigns or anything that could consider it competition or conflict with MeepCraft. But if required I can hand off all huge responsibilities.

Introduction:
Hello all! You may not know me, but I am Bob4444444. Outside of Meepcraft, I participate in many activities. I play piano, and also play various sports. I am also apart if a robotics league (FLL) and we have made it to the state finals two years in a row. I am an honors student, and I am trying my hardest for high honors. I am also in Advanced Math and Advanced English/Literature. I try to keep my academics my primary focus, but I still play on Meepcraft a lot of the time.

I have been playing Meepcraft since about the middle of August 2013 and has been a big part of my life since then. It has been such a great time for me! I have made so many new friends, and I am so happy I am apart of this wonderful community. Everyday I try to find some time get on Meepcraft. After my last application, I knew I would never give up. So here I am today, applying once more to be staff. I hope you consider this application.

Why you should be Helper?

Experience- I can't say I have much experience moderating Minecraft servers. I have been admin and mod on some other servers, but they weren't the types of server where staff actually do stuff (I am no longer staff on any server). I understand some commands, but not as nearly as enough commands I would get as a helper.

I also have been co-mayor in a couple towns recently, and being a co-mayor is a big job. I have been very responsible with my power with this job, and taken my responsibilities very seriously and tried not to goof off.

In real life, I have a lot of leadership skills. I may be immature, but I can be as serious as I need to be when I need to be. I like to be fun, but it's not all fun and games. When it's time to be serious, my immaturity goes away and I am mature as can be.

Work Ethic- I may be lazy sometimes (as stated in my weaknesses) but I would always try to work my hardest as a staff member. As a staff member, I would work as much as possible and try to help as much as I possibly can. The community means the world to me, and I would do my best to serve it as great as I can. I would not goof off and fool around while on the job. I would be as serious as can be and get the job done as efficiently as I could.

Dedication- I have too much dedication to everything here. The forums, teamspeak, ingame, the community, and even more! I dedicate myself to everything possible. As a helper, I would dedicate myself to helping the community and making the community a better place. As I stated above, the community means the world to me and I would do anything to help its future development and make it a family friendly place.

Involvement- I am very involved here. Everyday I go on teamspeak. I don't just go in a channel and leave, I stay and talk to the community. I am on the forums pretty much all the time. The forums is the place where a lot of the news happens, it's so exciting! That's why I like it so much. Now for ingame. I try to be active in shout as much as possible and try to not be super immature. I try to get ingame as much as I can, but sometimes school doesn't allow me to do so. In all three of the aspects, I try to help everywhere.

Performance- Most of the time, I try to act mature and help people as much as I can. Unfortunately, I can get immature and a little lazy sometimes. I try not to be lazy, but most of the time that really isn't an issue. As a staff member, I would work my best and take my responsibilities very seriously. I would use 100% effort as much as I can possibly put in. My main goal would be to serve the players as much as I can and do whatever I can do to benefit the community.

Weaknesses:
Since my interview, I have worked on my weaknesses greatly. They may not be 100% out of my system, but they are much more controlled now. I will list all of my weaknesses from my last app and explain in detail how I have improved on them.

Immaturity: Immaturity, my main weakness of them all. This used to be much more of major weakness but I have overcome it a bit. On my last app, immaturity was not a big issue. But, I still find I can me immature. I understand sometimes I can be immature and quite annoying But, most of the time I try to stay funny and try not to go immature. Sometimes for me it is uncontrollable. I feel like if I try my hardest, most of the time I will be capable to stay mature.

Laziness/Effort: I have definitely improved on this aspect a lot over the past couple months. Unfortunately though, I can be VERY lazy sometimes and try to find the easy way out of things. This is not the way to be a staff member, I know. I am mainly basing this off of myself in real life. But, sometimes my real life qualities get the best of me here. I honestly think I am not really lazy anymore but sometimes it will get to me. I don't think this will affect me much, but sometimes it sadly will.

Raging/Patience: I didn't quite explain this well on my last application, I'll put this in more detail. I don't necessarily rage at the person. I get mad, but I don't say anything in chat and I try to calm myself. If I am talking to someone via Skype or Teamspeak, I may mention that this is annoying me. I would never actually say this to the player. Also, when a player keeps asking a question and I keep answering, it tends to get a little annoying. But, I would never try to be mean to the player. I would just repeat myself but emphasize the fact stronger. I feel like this isn't as much of a weakness much anymore, but I wanted to point this out because I want you guys to understand this more and know I would never do anything to hurt the player.

Conclusion:
This is exactly why I want to be staff member. I love Meepcraft, it is one of the most amazing things I have ever done in my life. I don't know what I would be without my friends here, they are such a big part of me and they mean the world to me. It would be such an honor to be a Helper and moderate such a big and great server like this. Thank you for all of you that took the time to read my application, that really means a lot to me. During the weekend, I'm normally online for between 4 to 8 hours a day, again depending. Generally speaking, I am on less on Sundays due to homework and having to go to sleep earlier for school and whatnot. I get on at any time during the day. I also often have Fridays off, so I have weekend hours on those days. Finally, I sometimes have Thursday-Friday off, or Monday-Tuesday, or Friday-Monday. These very long weekends generally happen during holidays.

What is my personality like?
Well, as many of you know, I'm chaos546, also known as Cha. My given name, in real life, is Natalie, although I have plenty of nicknames, including simple things like Nat, or more confusing names like Nana, Nanachan, and even Natattack. I love any nicknames though, so if you want to give me your own unique nickname for me, that's totally cool with me.

As I said above, I am fourteen years old. My birthday is on December 3rd, and I live in Canada and have my whole life.

I love any animals, but especially cats and birds, and I love to read, write, draw, and photograph. I don't do any of these things as often anymore, but they are still some of my very favourite things to do.

However, the thing I do the most, a probably seen by the fact that I am even here, is play games. My dad works at a video company and I've basically grown up around video games; I can't remember a time when I haven't watched someone play a game. I love playing video games myself as well, and some of my favourite franchises are Pokemon and The Legend Of Zelda, though I have many other favourites as well.

Generally speaking, I tend to be a fairly friendly person, especially on the forums. I tend to be different when typing than when speaking, as when typing I am more confident and tend to type more than I would say out loud. I can sometimes seem distant or even rude when typing, but I try not to do this if I catch myself doing it. However, I am actually a fairly shy person in real life, and if I am uncomfortable, will probably not talk at all if you are with me on TeamSpeak. Though, those who have heard me on TeamSpeak when I am comfortable probably know me as who I am in real life under the same circumstances; a fairly silly person who laughs a lot and talks to herself while playing games.

Why do I think I should be considered to be a Moderator?
Well, I have my reasons, like all applicants, so bear with me while I elaborate on each and hopefully don't bore you all.

The first is the amount of time I've been a Helper. I was promoted exactly three months ago. In the beginning, and throughout, I've had a lot of issues with activity and with a few mistakes that I can honestly say I've never forgotten, and probably never will. However, I have learned a ton and I can truthfully say that I have grown not only as a staff member but also as a person on the whole. I've gone from being a shy and slightly helpful person to a person I can be proud of. Throughout my time as a staff member so far, I've tried to work hard on the weaknesses I had in my last application, and I feel I've really been able to remedy the issues I've had whilst being Helper.

That's really where I'd like to start this next paragraph; at how much I've overcome the weaknesses I originally had. I have tried hard since I wrote my first application to solve those weaknesses to the best of my ability, and I can honestly say I have them under control. I dedicated myself to making sure that nothing like that happened again, and succeeded.

Another asset I have is that I always strive to get the best answer I can. I make sure that I ask everyone if they have any other questions or things I can help with after I help them with their original issue, and I will gladly spend hours at a time helping the same person with an issue. I try to have quality over quantity; that is, I'd rather have every person I help feel at least a little satisfied after I'm through rather than just answer the one question so that I can seem more productive. I am always willing to help out with any issue that people have, as long as it is in my power to do it. I see this as a big personality trait to have, as I always try to make people happy.

Due to the fact that I can get on the forums almost anywhere, naturally my activity here is a big factor. I know I'm on the forums a lot more than I am in game, which can be an issue, but I feel closer to the community this way and that I can get to know people better. I have several forums watched, and try to get to each of my alerts as fast as I can. I am also able to quickly hop on the ball of things here to the best of my ability.

Now, below, in the Weaknesses section, you'll see me mention my anxiety. I count it as both a weakness and a strength; for example, if I make a mistake, I try my hardest to remedy or compensate anyone who I could've hurt with that mistake. I care whether or not people are enjoying themselves, and worry if I feel I haven't done a good job. When I have this feeling under control, it can help me to work harder to make sure I do my best, so I count that as part of my strengths.

What are my weaknesses?
I'd be the first to admit that I'm not all rainbows and kittens. I have a fair amount of weaknesses myself, that I have been working hard to remedy to the best of my abilities.

First and foremost, I'd like to start with my in game and TeamSpeak activity issues. Yes, I know that no one likes it when these are included, but I honestly see these as part of my weaknesses and especially part of what has led me to delay applying. Now, my in game and TeamSpeak activity go hand in hand for me, as I only have TeamSpeak on the laptop that I play on, so I go on both at the same time. Anyways, due to certain family rules and other things in real life, I sometimes have periods of inactivity on these fronts. The past three months of me being a Helper have been punctuated by these times. I believe I have mostly fixed these, or at least the best I can.

Now, there's also the issue of the fact that around strangers or large groups on TeamSpeak, I tend to be a very quiet person. I've worked on this, and generally can get pretty comfortable with people in ten minutes, at most. However, I tend to have troubles plucking up the courage to even switch into channels with people I'm not comfortable with. I need to work on this a bit more, I'll admit, though it can be difficult. I'll elaborate on this lower down.

A small weakness I can think of is that I tend to never forget if a player did something I consider atrocious, or even a little bad. Some may not consider this a weakness, but it can make it difficult for me to treat them nicely if I know they've been horrible to someone at some point. I tend to try to 'forgive, but never forget' and therefore if they do something even remotely wrong after that, even if it is as far as a year after, I tend to move towards treating them like someone who constantly breaks rules. This isn't that serious anymore, but I count it as a sort of grudge-holding that can be bad.

A few more little things, like sometimes getting a little bit impatient with those who constantly repeat themselves, or ask me the exact same question several times, but I rarely snap at people for this.

Finally, my last weakness; anxiety. I've had bursts of anxiety ever since I was little, and sometimes it can affect me in major ways on the server. For example, if I make a mistake, such as kicking the wrong person, I feel sick and often want to just get off immediately. If I post something that could have both good effects and bad, I obsessively check it. It is sometimes crippling, and sometimes barely noticeable, but it can affect me in my work and therefore is something I want to include here. I have ways of helping myself no longer feel as anxious, but I want to mention it nevertheless as it can be a very bad thing sometimes.

For all of my weaknesses, I have tried to develop ways to remedy or work around them.

All in all, I feel that I can better use my abilities as a Moderator. I can overcome my weaknesses with a bit of dedication, and I always try for the best for the community. I've learned a lot through my time as a Helper, and I truly feel that I am as ready as I'll ever be to apply.

Introduction:

Whelp, it’s DancingCactus applying for the prestigious position of Helper! My name is Ryan, and I’m a 15 year old dancing cactus. My hobbies include programming, skiing, playing MineCraft, trolling making people laugh and having hour-long Skype calls with my various Internet acquaintances. I’ve been playing on THIS server since it started and played on the nascent Meep since August 7th, 2012. I also find myself to be a sesquipedalian (yay big words). I currently hold the largest amount of likes on the forum (which basically means nothing). I have been staff on the prior Meep server a multitude of times and want to resume being staff, since I was before the first Revolution.

Why you should be Helper:

Well, first of all, I thought I would state a specialty, to separate myself from the other applications and prove to the few that don’t know much about me:

I believe myself to be analytical, intelligent and determined in conversations, forums posts, and other applicable forms of communication or in smaller words… I excel at knowing the right and proper thing to say at the right time.

There is a plethora of reasons why I find myself worthy of this rank on the server of MeepCraft. Recently, I found myself wanting to be staff again, because there’s an urge that any old staff member gets after they resign to get back into staff and resume doing what they miss. It’s a heartfelt feeling you get whilst helping people with modreqs, and I want to return to that positive motivator for moderating. Helping alone is good as well, but answering a question is different from delegating assistance and time with a griefing, from my personal experiences; and I thoroughly enjoy the latter.

To describe the principles behind my belief I should be a Helper, I will create brief paragraphs describing qualities about myself:

Responsible: In the past, I was trusted with the administrative rank of PRR. This position required responsibility, and I understand that Helpers do too. In game, I try my hardest to act as responsible as I can, while not seeming cocky or arrogant. For the past month, I have returned to my past ways; assuming a fun-loving character while remaining as mature as possible. I also want to recognize the fact that I performed my PRR duties without a rank describing my position.

Experienced: From my past involvements in the staffing systems, one can ascertain that I am experienced. My cumulative time in staff adds up to just over a month, and I don’t require half the training that is needed for the average Helper (how to do modreqs, instructions on the rules, etc.). I have been involved with many early developments of multifarious servers and I understand the protocol in which to moderate as I have demonstrated in the past; the diverse array of rules on this server and how to apply them; the judgment in which to kick, temporarily ban and ban; and how to act in a way that is pleasing to the staff, administration and the community, which may include acting a little humorous.

Critical: As most of you have seen from my forum posts, I have gotten notoriousness for the ways I can respond to people on the forums. I am known to be very critical, a superb investigator and am able to summarize key points very well; which led to my excellence as a Public Relations Representative.

Knowledgeable: Ever since the beginning of the new server, I haven’t been kicked or banned once. I understand the rules, read the rules book, even went to an extent of reporting players on a couple instances. I have applied, followed and informed people about these applied rules. I know this can be a little annoying to see in /shout, but some people need the rules to be reinforced.

Inquisitive: I am a very curios person. I like to explore certain things, which is a great positive motivator for a spirited Helper/Moderator. When there is a Helper going on a duping hunt, it’s good to be curious and motivated by the end result. I know this is not a common quality, so I will appraise it positively.

Forum Active: Currently, I have a lot of forum activity and use it almost daily. During past times, I frequently used the forums while moderating and performed tasks such as dealing with ban appeals, moving threads and occasionally assisting with staff management in the forums. A good Helper must be forum active in order to remain as connected as possible with the community, while still doing their job to the best of their ability.

Aspiring to Self-Improvement: During my last application, I was confronted by a staff member who informed me a little more about my current situation. They stated what they thought about me, answered some questions for me about the confusion I had about my last application and educating me in my current situation. I took this comment and thought of ways to improve upon my situation. I aspire to become a better person, through self-improvement. I enjoy growing as a person and positively enhancing my reputation, which again is a good motivator. Similar to what I stated, I became the player I was before and more.

I want most of you understand that what I did during the MN period wasn’t intentional, or was decided with a malicious intent. It was a reaction I had to a drastic change, and I take full responsibility for my actions, whilst I disagreed with them. While I understand that three months of trolling is hard to overlook, I was a fun-loving, responsible, mature, and recognized player of the community beforehand and am now, which is why many of the older players support me in my act of applying for Helper.

Weaknesses:

Just as I have noted before, I have a couple weaknesses that may marginally affect my performance as a Helper.

Complaining: This is more of a minor weakness, but sometimes I have a tendency to over-complain. I have been constantly working on this small flaw as I know it is not the most pleasurable experience dealing with someone who occasionally whines at certain subjects. However, I can reassure you that is only a minor occurrence and I promise to make my presence in staff with as little complaining as possible.

Minor Puerility: As noted by the staff in prior applications, I can act a little puerile and immature whilst on the MeepCraft server at sporadic times. The only times I tend to act this way are in of small harmless jokes and can seem a little immature. However, as I hope most of you have seen from my eloquent posts and conversations, I have a mature side in which I assume a responsible role and greatly examine evidence to come up with an unbiased judgment.

Inability to deal with Vicissitude: In times of great crisis, revolution and vicissitude, I am known to completely flip around my reputation. We can see an instance of this during MN, but as I have been told, we are not basing huge decisions off of what happened in this unpleasant stage of the server. Other players have this trait as well, but I have gotten a little infamous among the newer players. I want you guys to know that this will not happen again because I have been acting more prudent about my decisions. Just as a close friend of mine suggesting, I have been using thought before action and not act so rash to avoid reappearances of what happened before.

Conclusion:

In conclusion… I find myself fit for this position because of my personal meritorious and exemplary qualities and traits. Traits such as responsibility, knowledge and inquisitiveness, past experiences as a staff member on this server and anticipation for individual improvement. I am known to stand for my opinion, which may cause trouble, but I won’t let someone control my mind and thoughts. Thank you for spending your time reading my prolonged application. Ninja, I love you to death. I really do. You are the epitome of what staff should be under normal circumstances. I don't think these are normal circumstances though. Being staff on Jess' server makes for a conflict of interest, regardless of its imminent closure. I'm sure if you just play for a while on the server, everything will be fine. The timing is too close and you didn't put why you would want staff in your app which is curious.

you have the knowledge and attitude, so if you really want this, it could easily be yours in a month after you've regained the trust of the community.

I have doubts about you being a helper. When I +1 someone, there should not be a doubt in my mind that they can do the job.
-You couldn't handle it the first time. You couldn't handle it the second application. Both times you did something wrong. You knew it was wrong, and you decided to do it anyway.
-Work on being less dramatic. Not everything a buddy says is necessarily true.
-This is the weakest application from you thus far.
-Like the post instead of commenting. There's no need to say thank you every three posts, we already know that +1's are appreciated.
-You kiss up to a ton to people and it seriously bothers me. This is the biggest problem I have and it never changes.

First of all, he wants to be an architect. He doesn’t need to be on for twelve hours a day in order to do well in this position. Second of all, if you are playing for twelve hours in one day, you might want to reevaluate yourself. He is seventeen years old, and being seventeen years old myself, being able to give four to six hours of your time a day to Minecraft is incredible. He has a life, and he shouldn’t have to give that up because he wants to help out on a server that gets no more than fifty people a day.

When did you join Meepcraft? May 15th, 2015

Introduction: Hellow everyone! I’m LordMellow, Mellow, Marshall or Lord. (Love it when there are 3 lords online and someone says “Lord” and we all say “yes?”). I joined meep when I was 12 back in May 2015. My brother and I had just gotten Minecraft and wanted to explore new worlds with new people. We didn’t know how to do anything and found out what /modreq did within 10 minutes of joining. We were helped instantly by a staff member and ever since that day I have wanted to become a helper. Fast forward 5 years, I’m nearly an adult and still have that dream, that is why I am here today.

My hobby outside of MeepCraft is programming games. This interest actually stemmed from the time I had on the server because MeepCraft was created from nothing and had such an amazing community I wanted to bring that joy to others but in my own world. I liked programming games so much that when I was 15 I achieved a certificate II in information, digital technologies and publishing and am now doing the cert 3 this year and plan to continue those studies after high school and work in the industry.

Why should you be Helper? This is gonna start off sounding bad, but it isn’t. I make mistakes. Simple as that. Who doesn’t? Why am I writing this at the start of my application? Well, its because a mistake is how we learn, how we become better people. I’m not born perfect, and I will never be perfect and I will not pretend I am because no one is! This is okay... I always learn from my mistakes whether they’re personal or professional and I believe that not only accepting criticism but also learning from it is a very valuable trait in anyone.

As I person I have strong values, that I stick too. I may mess around and have fun but, I am serious when it comes to standing up for what I believe in and what is right not just for me, not just my friends, but everyone.

My dedication is impeccable. Ever since I was young if I found something I liked or didn’t, I would stick to it, either because I enjoyed it or because I was too stubborn to let something beat me.

I am friendly and open-minded about everyone. When I solve disputes I get both sides before I act and I do my best to make everyone happy and am able to tell someone that what they are doing is not right even if I am friends with them.

Sometimes, people who play online have bad days, we all do. Some people distance themselves while others take it out on others, even when those other people are just trying to help. I have stepped in for people that were on the receiving end of harassment before and that put me in the firing line. While I do not enjoy being harassed, I am able to talk to the person and gently diffuse the situation. At the end of the day, I am able to smile knowing that I helped someone and didn’t let it get to me.

What are your weaknesses? For years I have struggled with anxiety to the extent where I get physical pain from being anxious and this has hindered me throughout my life. As a child I would not go out for days at a time, I wasn’t even able to get out of bed. These days it is nowhere near as bad because of breathing techniques I have developed, ever since I have not missed a day, even with this extra anxiety about COVID19.

Another weakness of mine is my headaches and migraines. Ever since I was 5(earliest I can remember) I have been getting them. During these periods I am unable to look at any screen and need to take panadol and lie down. I used to get these very often and have been to the hospital on more than one occasion. As I’ve gotten older I am starting to slowly grow out of them and am able to recognize symptoms before they get really bad and get rid of them swiftly most of the time.
