Introduction:

Hello, the majority of you know me. I'm Shain. I'm 19 years old and live in Chicago. I'm currently studying music and musical theatre. I sing and I play 12 instruments. I hope one day to get a MFA and teach at a university as well as perform as much as possible. My dream is to be on Broadway. I recently got a job at a very popular restaurant in Chicago. But I'm here now to re-apply for staff. Let's get started.

Why you should be Helper?:

I know everything that's expected from helpers and staff in general. I have taught many current staff how to do their jobs. As an ex-supermod I can guarantee you that I will do the job and do it right. I know hawkeye in great detail. I know the rules (I wrote them after all). My previous experience makes me more than qualified for helper.

As a helper in the past, I had the highest modreq count of anyone at all times. As mod, I continued to keep that count up. While it was not as high when I was mod, I began my activity on the forums. For a long time I was one of the only people doing suggestions. There were hundreds of unheard ideas that I sorted through. I also was very active in report a player and ban appeals. As supermod, I wrote the entirety of the new rules (with suggestions and guidance of course). I also wrote a hawkeye guide for new staff (with help from megusta) as well as an in-depth helper guide. I did well more than what was expected and many staff members would attest to this.

I have passion for the job. While it did die out before my resignation, it's something I genuinely enjoy doing and I realize that now. Like I said, I just needed a break. I'm ready to come back. My previous actions speak loudly about everything I'm willing to do if you give me a second chance.

Weaknesses:

Bluntness- As many people know I'm very blunt and it comes off as rude when I don't really mean it to. I can't really help it and I don't realize I'm doing it. Diana tends to keep me in line when this is an issue.

Enemies- Over the past 6 months I have attained a number of people who just hate me. Honestly, I don't care all that much about them but they exist and it can cause problems. I tend to just ignore them.

Activity- My activity will not be the same as it was before. Since I'm working two jobs, I just have a lot less time. However I promise for the times I am there I'm willing to put in work again.

Conclusion:

Perhaps this application sounds a bit needy. Like I need staff. I'll be honest, I do. I miss it. I got lazy at the end of my reign with some of the simpler things like modreqs and reporting bans. I know this won't be a problem anymore. Thank you for considering my application and I hope to be apart of the staff team once again.

Introduction:
Hi, I'm Telinus. I have been playing this server for around a month now and I am extremely fond of it. All of the main reasons why I play Minecraft are included in this one, great big server: Towny, Skyblock & Minigames. The first time I played Skyblock I was insanely engaged with it. I absolutely love the feeling of danger and trying to survive and achieve a top ranked island. Same with the minigames- Boomo has to be my favorite, I've never seen such a finely coded game in a server. Especially with all of the insanely helpful upgrades; I mean, who doesn't want to have insane speed while placing down 9 TNT to trap your foe in a corner while he begs for mercy? I love every second of it, especially when there are so many good personalities to play with.

Anyway, some personal hobbies I enjoy are: Football, baseball, working out and playing some games like Minecraft and League of Legends. While I do (try) to focus on school first, I definitely have a lot of free-time to use on these hobbies. I play on a Major (highest 'ranking') select baseball team that travels across the state, also was on the 7th grade A-team football team. I was the starting center, I fought through numerous amounts of practice to achieve my goal; ultimately from hard work, and earning the trust of my coach to play well in the moments that count. I know that this has nothing to do from the server, but it can show you the qualities that I have.

Why you should be Helper/Mod/Supermod?
The ultimate goal of a Helper is to help. I know it's very obvious by the tag, but I believe that I could be something special. I know a great percent of the Towny, Skyblock, and plugin commands. Even though I have not have any server experience with HawkEye, I have done some research and most of the commands I think are quite easy to use & easy to remember. I like to think of myself as a helpful and respectful young man (insert deal with it meme here), that always wants to get the job done at a high expectation level. This being said, I would do my honest best with modreqs I might be answering, trying to give the sincere players of Meep the correct and most understandable answer possible.

One thing about me is that I strive to never rest until the job is done. By saying that, I will try my best to never abandon a modreq that might take a good 20-30 minutes, but try to get those so I can give the player what they want to know. Of course I will do some of the easy ones if open, but I will wholeheartedly try my best to solve the big questions asked.

Another one of my perks is that I am quite actively helping in /shout, immersing myself into the community by every sentence I speak. I am trying to get to know everyone and let everyone get to know me. I try my best to be active on the forms, whether it's helping, chatting or just trolling sometimes.

Weaknesses:
One of my bigger not so much weaknesses, but downsides is that I don't like to talk much. I will definitely answer questions or anything, but other than that I'm pretty dang quiet. Most people might now think that that's bad but when you have to communicate with other people it is.

Another one of my weaknesses is that I am a perfectionist. Yes yes you might be asking yourself, 'Why is that bad?' Well, sometimes when you need to quickly and efficiently need a job done, it might slow you down a little. I am trying to work on both of these weaknesses by adjusting my paradigms, to show that they can both be fully 'cured.'

Conclusion:
I absolutely am immersed in this community, and would only like to make it better. I know we have been accepting helpers left and right lately, but I would greatly consider it if you would acknowledge me for the Helper staff position.

Introduction: Hi i'm bass_flow but my real name is liberty. I love cycling playing badminton and everything to do with computers and technology; but by now I hope most of you know who I am. I have been a helper for a good one and a half months now and I feel that its enabled me to become a better part of meep the community.

Why you should be Mod ?
Over these past few weeks as helper I have really developed not only my problem solving skills but my skills as a person. Before I would tend not to go on teamspeak at all because I was too shy to speak to anyone. But now I can log on to teamspeak and have a general conversation with pretty much anyone. I have also improved my social skills as I can quite freely talk to new players when answering their modreqs.
When it comes to modreqs I feel that I could quite happily have any situation thrown at me and be able to deal with it. I have completed over 200 modreqs in my time as helper, not all of those solved without help because I needed help at some points but all of them solved correctly and with the player happy. I have also helped players in local chat and private chat as many players find it easier to come to a staff member direct.
Helping new players on meep is my no.1 thing to do when I'm online because I enjoy it so much. I love meeting new players that I would never normally meet. Helping new players feel welcome on the server is a key thing to this server and without it we wouldn't have as many players as we do today.
As a moderator I would be able to develop all my skills further. I would try to recruit helpers and assist new helpers to the best of my ability, for example I would check up on them now and again to see if they need a hand. Also I would answer any questions any helpers have. I would also continue answering modreq but also take on the more challenging modreqs that only moderators+ are able to complete. I would also spend more time on forums completing requested bans for helpers.

Weaknesses:
I understand that over 200 modreqs isn't the best amount of modreqs done in he amount of time I have been helper, which brings me on to my weaknessess
surprise inactivity + other commitments
Now am in year 10 I get twice as much homework as I did last year and at unexpected times which can cause me to only be active for about 30 mins in one night. I also help out in the community in real life which has caused me to be less active. But as this is scheduled it wont be a surprise inactivity.

Conclusion:
My time as helper has been good so far and I hope that in the next few weeks I can continue my time as a staff member as a moderator.

Introduction:

Hello all!

I am assuming that most of you know me, but to those who don’t, I will take this time to introduce myself. My name is Alexandra, Lex, or LexKristen. Whatever you choose to call me is purely a matter of your preference. I am 14 years old, and I enjoy a plethora of activities. Although, my favorite thing to do in my free-time by far is to play guitar and bass guitar. I started playing when I was 12, and without music I would not be who I am today! As you can guess, another reason why I cherish my free-time is because that’s when I get to play Minecraft. I love the game and all, but I would definitely not be playing still if it weren’t for the MeepCraft community. You all make me very happy . If I can remember correctly, my /res registration date was September 29th, 2012. This means that I have been playing MeepCraft for over a year, excluding some breaks that I took occasionally. Also, one of my guilty pleasures is watching anime. I always thought that it was quite weird, I never really had the urge to watch Japanese cartoons. Once I started watching it, my opinion was quickly changed I honestly could not get myself to stop. Currently I am really enjoying Clannad (thank you Erebus45 for the recommendation).



Why I should be Helper:

Now that you know a little more about me, I will move on to “why.” If you are an older player, you will recall the times when I was staff in early-mid 2013. I became trial-mod on February 22nd, and continued to be staff until sometime in late April, otherwise known as the Meep Revolution II. I worked up the ranks fairly quickly, and resigned 2 weeks after I had become a SuperMod. That was when “you-know-who” came into play, and I definitely was not willing to work with him any longer after a few weeks of seeing what he was all about.

As you can see, I have a great deal of experience in the field of moderating. I also am extremely familiar with towny commands, and information about the server. I had completed over 1000 modreqs in my staff term all to the best of my ability. Sure, I had a high number of modreqs completed. However, quantity is not as important as quality. When I claimed a one, I first made sure that I was capable of answering it. I also made sure that the player was 100% satisfied and did not have anymore questions! That was one of my top accomplishments as staff and the thing I prided myself at being one of the best at. Another quality that I believe makes me a great candidate for a member of the staff team is that I am very tolerant to all types of people. However, the “policy” that I go by is: if you are nice to me, I will be nice to you. Working well with somebody doesn’t only come from one person. Both people have to be willing and determined, and friendly with each other I might add. I am always willing to be friendly with you if you are willing to be friendly with me!

I am an extremely organized person as well. There has never been a time where I haven’t had ban proof when somebody appealed. I kept a folder on my computer with every single ban/tempban, and even sometimes kicks that I made. This helped me keep track of the players and how many times they had done something wrong under my watch so that I gave them the appropriate punishment. I don’t use bias when punishing players, because in my personal opinion everyone should be treated exactly the same.

Another thing to know about me is that I am a very straightforward and somewhat blunt person. If I see something happening that I do not agree with, I will speak up about it. This causes me to be very on top of the rules and strict about them.

Also, I am extremely easy to get a hold of on Skype. I accept mostly anybody that would like to add me, as long as you promise not to spam me. In my free-time I am usually available for calls. Regarding TS, it kind of weirds me out thinking about talking to people I’ve never talked to before. Whenever I do go on there though, I tend to listen instead of talk. My mic is perfectly functional, so I can talk whenever it is deemed necessary. I understand how TS works and all, so that is not a problem.

After I resigned in April was when I made some uncalled for and unacceptable decisions, which I will discuss next in the “weaknesses” category.



Weaknesses:

One of my weaknesses is that I tend to make hasty decisions without thinking about them very much. However, I have worked on this tremendously in the last few months. This is a perfect segue for the next thing I would like to talk about. My crime record is pretty small, but it is still existent. After I resigned from SuperMod, I still had creative mode. I decided to use it to my advantage for a couple days until I was caught and blacklisted from the server, along with a lot of my other friends. Let me clear a few things up before it becomes a deal breaker. Everybody makes mistakes, mine just happened to be a little bigger of a mistake than usual. I was not thinking very clearly at the time, which is where my “hasty decision making” weakness comes into play. Keep in mind that this happened over 6 months ago, and I have worked on this not-so-good quality about myself. The break that I took between August and the beginning of October definitely helped me remarkably as well. Also, think about the fact that I didn’t commit one crime prior to that, nor had the thought of breaking the rules ever crossed my mind. I was a “goody-two-shoes”, essentially. What I did was more of a “in the heat of the moment” type of deal. Which, don’t get me wrong, definitely doesn’t make what I did right. I understand that, but I also personally am asking for forgiveness, and want you to realize that it was one bad thing that I did in my months of being a helpful and harmless citizen of the community.


Conclusion:

I hope you can see the good qualities that I posses that will make me a valuable member of the Meep staff team. Also, if you are wondering why I applied this past July and was neither denied nor accepted, I decided that it was the time that I take a break. I respectively asked an admin to withdraw my application from the staff recruitment section. I needed to get ready for school and get my life “on track” per se. The break that I took was very much needed. A few people thought that I had been denied, and rage-quit, but that was not the case. There is nothing that bothers me more than when people get offended by others' honest opinions, and I am just not that type of person. I just thought I should clear that up! I am looking forward to reading your feedback.

What is my personality like?

I’m chaos546, also known here as chaos or Cha. My real name is Natalie, but mostly people call me Nat or Nana. I feel awkward when people call me by my full name, be it Natalie or chaos546, as I feel like they are being weirdly formal, and I feel put on the spot.


I am not a very sporty person, so I tend to spend my time reading, writing, drawing, and most of all, gaming. My dad works at a video game company, so I’ve literally grown up around video games. I don’t remember a time where I had never watched someone play a video game.


I love all animals, but my favorites are cats and birds. I love spending time with animals.


Personality-wise, on screen, I tend to be very opinionated and am not afraid of saying what I think about somone, especially if I dislike them. However, out of Meepcraft, I’m actually really shy with strangers. I don’t like talking in front of anoyone who I don’t consider a close friend or relative. However, if I am comfortable, I talk non-stop. I love talking about things that I enjoy doing, like gaming, anime, reading, and such, so that’s mostly what I talk about when I get going.


Why should you consider me for a Helper?

I’m going to say straight out that I have never been a staff member on a Minecraft server before. I have, however, been a high ranked staff member on a website and have learned to deal with troublemakers. I am not afraid punish even one of my closest friends. I know the responsibilities that come with being a staff member and I realize what sometimes must be done.


My second reason for why I think I would be a better Helper than, say, that guy across the street from you, is that I am fairly experienced on the server, and anything I don’t know about it I’m willing and interested in learning. My one year anniversary to Meep is coming up (mid-October, sometime after the 16th), and I really think that I know the server well. Comparing now to back when I sent in my other application, back in old Meep, it’s actually appalling how much can change.

Now, about my activity and helpfullness in game, on the forums, and on TS. I can say straight up, as many of you know, that my strong point is the forums. I see this as a huge asset, as I’ve noticed that oftentimes the forums seem a little neglected. I see ban appeals and requests up for weeks, suggestions buried, and questions made fun of. I get that the forums are generally second compared to in game, and that you guys are pleny busy, but, as I can access the forums from nearly anywhere, I tend to be more active there.


My in game activity may not be up to par with what you’d hope for a Helper, but I have been working hard on getting it back to more of a schedule, and I can honestly say I have been doing better. Not to mention that because I’m not in a town, and I don’t have a house, I spend most of my time in the wild, at spawn, or in the mingames. When helping in game, I tend to lean more towards /msging people rather than just saying the help straight out in chat, especially when it comes to /shout. I assure you that I try to answer as many questions as possible.


TeamSpeak. I go on it every time I go on Minecraft, but because I am fairly shy and because you all are strangers, I don’t talk as much as I wish. I tend to instincually avoid groups of less than three (private conversation) or groups of more than 5, because I feel awkward going into large groups. Whenever I switch channels, I feel like I’m butting in on something. I am working on this, I swear. I’m alright if someone asks me into a channel, however, as I feel then that I was invited rather than just barging in, so it shouldn’t be as much of a problem.

What are my weaknesses?

I think my number one weakness is probably the fact that I tend to react without thinking to something that personally effects someone close to me. A perfect example to this is why I was banned. I saw something that hurt my close friend, and it made me react mindlessly, with one goal in mind; to punish whomever did it. I am working toward changing this from a weakness and putting it to use as a drive to keep me going.


Second is probably my opinionation. I tend to stand by one view until given proof that it is wrong. This can cause me to seem unreasonable and stubborn, but again, I am working hard to improve this.


Finally, it’s my TeamSpeak shyness. Through text, I feel way less nervous and shy. But TS is another story, and I sincerely apologize for this. I am getting better, though.

So what does this all add up to?

In conclusion, I believe that I could be an asset to the community as a Helper, more so than a can be as a citizen. I strive to have everyone feel welcome in this wonderful community we have here, and am prepared to shoulder any responsibilities that come with that.
