I'm extremely sad that a young person capable of change lost his life, especially in the area where I was born and lived in for a good portion of my life (Broward County, also Marjory Stoneman Douglas happened 12 minutes away from where I used to go to school, Florida is crazy).
X did have a past of beating up his partner, and I know that the pregnant girlfriend that he allegedly beat up can be easily disproven, but let's not forget about the 2 other girls he beat up with evidence, one video evidence and one picture evidence. Albeit, he went to jail for one of these. His lifestyle was prone to violence.
As much as you try to mask the bad stuff he did, you cannot call him a "legend", a positive person, or anything of that regard. I'm aware he tried to make up for what he did afterwards, but what he did weighed heavy on his life. Nothing was wrong with him, he had no sort of mental illness in which could justify the domestic violence he displayed.
The problem with our generation is that we're saying "free (clearly guilty person here) for his murder charges!". X didn't deserved to die, but I like to believe that karma is an everlasting cycle, and that everyone should practice to always do good and the right thing regardless of any situation.
However, none of that justifies any of you to disrespect his death or his name when hes gone. Nobody deserves that.
Another lost soul taken.
edit: also the girl he beat up (that he went to prison for a few years for) was permanently blind afterwards smhh
