Late 2017, forgot what exact date Introduction: Hello, my name on the forums and minecraft is xX___Kirby___Xx, I am an avid gamer, and I love the game of minecraft. When I first came to the server, I found out that I wanted to stay on meepcraft, and I've been playing since late 2017. I play on other server's too, so try to find me! I wanted to play MeepCraft because it had loads of different elements, such as Towny and Halo. My first time playing minecraft was back in 2010, so I have nice elements on command blocks, minor redstone, and I have had fun on servers too. I have fun on MeepCraft most of the time, and I hope you do too! Anyways, that was me! Why should you be Helper? I want to apply for helper to help those who are being bullied, and I have friends and enemies. I love Meepcraft, and I think we could use more staff. To be honest, it's hard to explain. What are your weaknesses? I can act very immature at times. and have a generalized anxiety disorder. I try to avoid what other people say about me, but I cant help it sometimes, and just REACT. Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I just hope you accept this application and if you are trying to become helper( (people who are viewing this,) make sure to have fun at all times! It's a -1 from me for these reasons:
-Incompatible personality/attitudes/traits to become a staff member (e.g. immature)
-Short application
-Very new member, not seen in game very actively
-No great need for more staff members in NA time zones

Give it some time, and you'll be a better fit. You're only 10 and your first application is miles better than the one I wrote at age 12. Maybe in a few months/years you'll have learned more about the Meep community and will have produced a more in-depth and refined application.

Until then I'm sticking with a -1.

This isn't a very strong application, but it is currently the best effort you can give out at your age. However, the "why" section is probably the most important part of an application. This app lacks a huge amount of imperative detail, but I mean, you're only 10. I didn't start to pick up on my writing skills until I was 11-12, especially because it was more advanced stuff. I would wait a bit longer until you're around at least 13-14 years old because when you're at that age, you'll know how to be persuasive and be capable of writing a detailed application. Also, in my opinion 10 years old is way too young. To tell you the truth, I wanted to be a helper for Meep when I was around 10 years old. I'm glad I didn't because mine would be horrible; not saying yours is horrible, but it lacks a great amount of cruciality and detail.[/FONT]

I admire your application Kirby, but before you become helper there are a few things that I think you could improve/expand on.
You should probably wait a little longer, until you have had more experience, and also try to be more active in-game and on the forums.
Secondly, you might want to spend a little more time & effort on your application.

Good luck Kirby, but just in case it doesn't work out this time, I hope to see you as a helper a little bit further in the future :)

Your application lacks detail. You say its "hard to explain" but why can't you explain why you want to help meepcraft? Maybe you could talk more about why you would be different from other helpers and what makes you unique and a valuable addition to the staff team. Right now I haven't seen you much but I have played halo with you, you don't seem too bad. But typing in global that you are getting off because helpers are annoying you, right before you post a helper application, certainly won't help.

I do like your enthusiasum, I just don’t

1- Know you well enough
2- it’s kind of a short application and not strong
3- The why should you be helper part should have at least a few more reasons. Try stating some skills you could bring to the team.
It’s nothing personal, I just think you should have some more experience on the server. Get to know it better. Good luck :) -1

Kirby, I think you're lovely and a breath of fresh air, but you need to try and get more integrated with the general community. I'd like to see you more active on forums and discord as well as in game since it's really important for moderation staff to be involved in all aspects of the server :)

Although not an absolute must, it is advised to get a few references for an application, just in case anyone would like to ask them what they think of you, same as if it was a real life job application!

I think Ellie is right, seeing you become integrated with the community would make your application stronger.
I am uneasy with you as an applicant because I have seen you handle some arguments improperly in game. There were times where comments were made that were unnecessary and inflammatory. I’m sure you will mature and learn how to handle problems through your experiences in real life and in the Meep community. Also, in order to properly fill out the “reasons why” and “weaknesses” sections, you really need to dig deep and try to concretely identify parts of your personality. Wanting to help people is a must-have in a staff member, but we need to know more about how your personality would make you a solid staff member.

For this application I am a -1, but I encourage you to spend some time playing and immersing yourself in the community and once you’ve grown I think you could be a good applicant.

If you cannot handle negative criticism, being a staff member will not suit you well. there will be people that disagree with you, even harass you, just bc you're staff, and it can get tiring if you aren't used to it. This is rather negative and immature, just say thank you and move on.

Overall - Don't be petty, be the bigger person, smile and nod. That will get you further than anything else.
