Ban messages should remain between the customer and the server. As you can see from a majority of these posts public ban message only serve to provide entertainment to the current playerbase. Additionally you run into instances where players weaponize this information to use against the person banned down the road.
Additionally you open up the avenue for players to criticize a staff's choice on ban amount / message for something that gains the server nothing.

This is exactly my thoughts.

This was always present in the red /seen line. For example, if I saw someone breaking a rule and wanted to report them, I could just /seen to see if it had been dealt with already.
All in all, I really don't see the point in ban messages being public. It only seems to cause issues or have the potential to cause issues. I mentioned it in shout when it was first implemented, as I was online at the time - I don't see the appeal nor the necessity behind public ban messages, and I find that the want for it seems to only come from a) a place of mistrust in staff to ban with their discretion or b) a place of a desire to ridicule or insult those who get banned. I don't see a pro to it that can't be resolved with less invasive ways, such as checking /seen or if it's a friend or relevant information to you, asking a staff member.
