or you could just ignore the the thread and go about your day :)

I would have went about my day exactly the same whether I liked what was posted or not. I already read the thread though, meaning that I either liked it or I didn't. The environment becomes very in-genuine when negative opinions are shunned. Not everyone likes or agrees with everything, so I don't see what the point in pretending is. To save people's feelings? I don't see anyone's feelings getting hurt, and if they are, then that person is really missing out.
In almost every situation, I'd prefer someone giving their honest, genuine opinion over simply "ignoring it." Maybe I am the only one though. Maybe everyone wants to be happy and pretend that they like everything and everyone. Maybe we just ignore things we don't agree with. Maybe being objective is a thing of the past; everything is subjective and every person is right and good in their own special way. Maybe learning from only good experiences is what we need instead of taking the good and bad into consideration.
Negativity/disagreement is one of the most genuine and beautiful aspects of human interaction. I fail to see what people think is so bad about it. Perfection is unobtainable in this existence, but through negativity we can patch problems and inch closer towards it.
But hey, that's just me. You do what you like, and if you don't agree with me "just ignore it." You seem to think it's a good idea.
I'll stop before I get too deep, because from what I have seen, people on this forum just love deep threads... (like this one...)
