Here's why i disagree.
1. They would probably lower the spawn rate by a bit.
2. Sure, even after that it would be a little OP, but the only way to spawn villagers was to either find a zombie spawner and wait for zombie villagers to spawn, then transport them away from the spawner and possibly other villagers to cure them (which, by the way, would take 800 meebles in golden ingots and an apple and a splash weakness potion) or, you could fork over a big amount of meebles for villager eggs (which you can only get if supreme+)
3. Now that the server is updating to 1.11 (I think), zombie villagers no longer spawn from zombie spawners. So now the only way to spawn villagers without villager breeding is to buy villager spawn eggs (which are very costly, as well as having to be supreme+ to buy)
So, after that, I think that we should enable villager breeding again, wether it is nerfed or not.
P.S. Yes, villagers are an infinite source of emeralds, but people can set their own prices via chestshop, and i'm pretty sure that the staff will not set an OP sell price for emeralds

Here's where you're wrong.
1. Sure they would ''probably'' lower the spawn rate a bit'' but that's not going to do anything. All you need to do is find a village and claim it, then set up a breeder. You can also create skyblock style mob farms and hope you get a zombie villager.
2. It's going to be way more than 'op'. Villagers destroy economies. When I first started playing on this server 4 years ago I decided to get into villager trading. Within a day I completely destroyed Silk Touch I book prices, along with Unbreaking III and Prot IV. I damaged the enchanted book price so badly Silk Touch books went from 5-8k down to 1-3k each. Just from me, one person. Also, having to 'spend' 800 meebles for a golden apple, on no the world is going to end. 800 meebles is so much to spend. No gold is worthless, just because in order to do something on the server requires you to invest meebles into doesn't make it a legitimate alternative to getting meebles out of the economy when the negative impacts of such said step destroys the economy. And yes the villager spawn eggs are for supreme + for a stupid reason. They were getting desperate on what to give higher ranks because they didn't know what other perks to give them.
3. Yes, it is true that zombie villagers don't spawn from zombie spawners in 1.11 anymore. But that does not justify the fact that players should be allowed to breed freely and willingly. Onis disabled villager breeding for multiple reasons.
*If left uncontrolled, they can spawn thousands of villagers and crash the server
*Villagers destroy economies due to the large influx of items they generate into the server e.x. Books, saddles, armors (Diamond, Iron Leather, Gold), Tools (Enchanted non enchanted) also the large about of food as well.
It doesn't matter if emeralds aren't valuable in an economy server, what matters is the unnecessary amount of influx of valuable items that other wise are extremely difficult to get can be traded for from villagers. We've already seen such an effect happen on MeepCraft. Diamond armor just regular armor is worthless due to the dungeon, villager trading etc, same applies to tools and books.
Villagers are great for servers that have 1-30 players on it. Small servers that are better controlled via it's player base. But for a Economy Server like MeepCraft, if every player decided to do villager breeding/trading it's going to destroy the economy.
Villagers should only be accessible via the server spawn and disabled from the towny. Only Villagers found in the wild should be allowed with breeding disabled.
