Obama's third pick should have been on the bench by now, but naturally the obstructionist Republicans like bringing up a non-existent rule to block Merrick Garland, a man who has all the experience and credential he needs to be a justice. He is literally in the second highest judicial position next to a Supreme Court Justice, and he has gotten praise from Republicans and Democrats in the past.

The videos that are out there show absolutely no context to that conversation. To reiterate: It's a criminal defense attorney's job to provide the best legal counsel they can to the defendant. Not only that, it's their constitutional duty to do so.
