Nu, marvel is better (Just look at the cinematic universes, + the marvel comics are so much cooler)

To me personally, Marvel feels too scattered. They have good runs at times, and they have good characters too, but they don't all seem to fit together. DC feels like a solid established universe and it feels more real to me at least. Marvel has a tendency to focus on changing things up in their comics so much that you cant enjoy a hero doing their thing. With DC, they don't throw reality warping stuff into the mix as much at all and so you get a chance to read more than like 5 issues that stick to what the hero does normally. Its more interesting for me personally, besides contest of champions, when you get to about, say, Batman fighting Clayface for a few issues than it is for me to read about Spiderman's realities getting screwed up and the Xmen getting killed off practically every issue. Its hard to put that into words but that's just my two cents.
I just watched Captain America: Civil war and Batman V Superman back to back and IMO both plots were bad and it was just a way for heroes to fight each other

Civil War was a better movie in my opinion though simply because the fight scenes were very well done, but overall yeah I don't think any of Marvel or DC's are anything to write home about besides Dark Knight Returns and, say, The First Avengers movie (until you sit down to think about it)
ya they both were a bit disappointing, But I really liked how they did spider man in Civil war. It was a lot closer to the comics then the other one.

I'm really excited for Homecoming even though what they did with Flash Thompson is a little odd
Marvel has imsnse backstory and detail. The entire movie list is backstory. Every movie they've made is the same series. Did you know that even the Tesla Roadster in Starks garage in iron man 1 had a backstory too?

First of all, every comic has backstory that's really nothing special
And second of all, that's one of the main problems I have with the movies. Every single movie they make is just leading up to one big movie, and that one big movie probably isn't gonna be that good anyway. I'm really sick to death of superhero movies where half of the film is an explanation of the events leading up to the "big fight" and then the big fight ends up being average at best. I want movies where any backstory told is done in the background and you're thrown into the mix of things and has an engaging villain and engaging fight scenes. I don't want to see another "bad guy with a big blue laser that shoots at the sky and also has an army of mindless drones" situation, I'm sick of that
