If you look at the story lines though, DC is better. Marvel has more action, DC has more story

for comics its really just a matter of personal preference, because of the immense amount of writers in both universes you can find tons of trash marvel and trash dc comics, as well as shining master pieces that epitomize everything good in there respective universes, (Annihilation) however in TV shows and Movies, marvel wins, the only current dc shows worth watching are The arrow and flash, the crossover show they tried to do (Days of tomorrow or something) has way too many plot lines to follow within it, and the movies are just... (suicide squad
