After much thought I have decided to reapply for a staff position. As most of you know I was previously a part of the staff team. I served as helper for about a month, until I applied for mod and served for another two. My time on the staff team has most definitely been some of the most enjoyable I've ever had on meep. From building strong friendships with my fellow staff members to interacting with different players from all around the server on modreqs, I enjoyed it all. The relationships that I formed with my peers throughout the time on the team is definitely something I prize most about the three months. They carried over to platforms outside of Meep, and we even bonded over things completely unrelated to Minecraft. The opportunity to grow so close to these people is something that I will always be grateful for. Why should you be Helper? Well first of all, my prior experience on the staff team. I still know all the commands like the back of my hand and am confident that I could still tackle any staff situation with ease. Due to this, I would require little training and almost immediately be able to jump back in and start helping the team. Some staff even still come to me for prism help when they are online with no other staff to answer their questions.

Second of all, my maturity. When in game, whether it be speaking in shout, local, or private message, I almost always retain a mature demeanor. This is a very important quality in staff members and is crucial when handling almost every staff situation. While I do mess around sometimes, I very quickly know when it is time to get serious. Not to mention, when I mess around I'm fairly sure it does not drift into the realm of immaturity.

Now thirdly, and finally, my attitude. I don't think there are more than three instances when I've been intentionally rude to players on this server over my whole time on Meep. I am nice to everyone, and I make an effort to show people that they are welcome. However, attitude does not only account for how one treats people, but also how one reacts when presented with a stressful situation. Personally, I always stay level minded during shaky events. This is also quite an important quality when it comes to performing adequately as a staff member and that is why I will do very well in a helper position. What are your weaknesses? Teamspeak Maturity - Yes, sometimes I get carried away when talking on teamspeak. I will get too hyper (depending on my mood) and act immature. This is something I will undoubtedly put all my effort towards trying to stop as a staff member and am confident that I will succeed. However, It is definitely something the community should know about before placing their votes.

Nation Roleplay - I get too emotionally invested when someone threatens my nation in beta. It was my dream since I first joined meep to own the largest nation, and I finally accomplished after 3-4 years time, so when that dream is threatened I tend to overreact. Don't take this out of context, however. Never have I made any vulgar or personal attacks on any other person, any other town, or any other nation that was threatening mine. Not even my relationships with the people on the opposing side have ever been affected. I simply view these situations as roleplay and nothing more, but I do tend to get very serious about them. You were a good staff member last time, and even though there were some bumps along the way when you applied after that and was denied, you still was a constant, active, kind, funny, and positive member to the community. I wouldn't mind if we gave you an interview this time around.
That being said, I expect from you no less than what you put on your app, because I know you are a great person but your silliness can get the better of you sometimes.

I'd like a chance to work with you on the staff team. From what I have heard you did amazingly well while being staff. Your app was nice, it let me know all about you and why you should be staff. When you got denied along side me back in the day you raged so hard talking about how you didn't get a chance to prove yourself in interview. You can prove yourself as a person and not just in there. It really ticked me off and I don't really know why I did but I was so so annoyed. I have since quit so I cant really say I haven't seen you online but when I was a staff member say like 4 days ago I didn't see you online helping and stuff but tahts probably just me.

jala, you've been a close friend of mine meep-wise, and it started through the staff team. you were extremely efficient with modreqs, and not only helpful to the playerbase, but you were helpful to the other staff members. if i came to you with a question, you would answer it to the best of your abilities, and on the rare occasion where you didn't know the answer, you would make your best effort to get an answer. you have an infectious personality, and you've retained some great activity on the server. you'd be a lovely addition to the staff team.

I went off on a large (but completely logical and appropriate) rant regarding the decision made, yet I didn't scream curseword after curseword as some might assume after reading what you have written. In that channel, I did not say anything outside of the bounds that would be considered something appropriate for a staff member to say. I don't know why it made you angry that I was unhappy with the decision made about my previous app, but is that really a reason to -1 me?

To address your second point, I have been very active an helpful in game. I could do better in shout, but I often respond to requests for help in msg. I also reach out to new players when they found a town.

And your third point. The offended too easily. I just need some evidence for that.

Does that mean you count how much times you're rude so you could say you have been only under 3 times? Does that mean that if you got three warnings you would use them up and stop getting in trouble just so you could seem good? That statement completely sticks out to me in the whole paragraph it's in.

Also, you say you're immature on teamspeak, but you're mature in game. Does that mean you're putting on a fake face to seem good? All aspects of your maturity and attitude must be A1 on every side of the server.

Although, I don't doubt that you could do the job because anybody can do the job.

I agree that you can be mature jala, and true you can do the job, ive seen it, but as nhjed literally just said ANYONE can do it. Even me, after many people questioned me. But why was the decision unfair, ive seen many decisions that were unfair and some of mine on my applications I believed were unfair, but why was yours so bad? Yes, you are right that you were being logical about it, but someone who got so upset over a denial seems to me that that makes you salty. Its 2 personas that ive seen, you can be immature on teamspeak but very mature in game, that's really weird for me to see.

As I said, I like you as a person, and your fun to be around but that moment, that one night, where you kept talking on and on for a long time about how you thought it was unfair and how you could only want to talk about it in interview was weird. I wanted an interview too yet it seemed as though you brushed that completely aside and believed you truly were better then that. It was basically 2 words, im sorry, then you ranted on and on about your app and unfairness etc.

My vote, however, does not matter, as you know that staff are the people who really decide applications.

I whole heartedly think you're reading too much into this. What I said there was a figure of speech; my apologies that you took it too literally. Secondly, no it does not mean I put on a fake face in game. Writing through text and speaking outloud are two completely different things. Also let me say that while my teamspeak maturity is a weakness, it does not hinder my ability to perform as a staff member. It arose as an issue once in my previous time on the team in my first few weeks as helper. It is something I cleaned up but do still need to work on. Since it did pose an issue last time around, naturally I put as a weakness. I performed well on all aspects of the staff team last time, and am confident along with many others that I will again. I also see that your vote is based solely off of weak points that you pick out in my app. Why don't you also try to weigh that against some of the positives likemy past experience on the team. If you focus on the bad and nitpic the negatives, of course a lesser view of me overall will arise. While I do agree that what you bring up are issues, I without a doubt know they are not things that will effect my performance on the tem.
