selchie When did you join Meepcraft? Late August 2012 Introduction: Hello meepers! It's cooey3 here again, as most of you know me. For those that don't, i've been playing meepcraft for about 2 years since I rejoined again. I joined for the first time in August of 2012 and stayed for a few months, but quit at the dawn of MeepNetworks. I went and checked on meepcraft again around June of 2014 and I was amazed at what had happened to the server. Later that year in October, I bought exclusive, followed by elite in November. I've owned 30+ towns on meepcraft, and I am continuing to enjoy my experience here.

In real life, I'm a rising 8th grader and last year took almost all advanced classes. This year im going to be taking a couple of highschool classes. I'm currently out of school and have a lot of free time. Besides meepcraft I enjoy being outside even though I don't play sports. I currently take piano lessons, and have been doing so for four years. Why should you be Helper? I believe I have many qualities I can bring to the staff team.
Experience on meepcraft:

I've been playing meepcraft for 3 years total now, and I've had a lot of time to learn. Owning 30+ different towns, I've had to use many towny commands very often. I often have helped a resident in my towns that was new to the server. I have at some time played all of the minigames, and frequently play them now. The few commands that I do struggle with are simple plot commands which I am working on getting down.

Activity/Dedication:

I am an incredibly active member on meepcraft, putting lots of hours into my playing. Especially now that it is summer, I have plenty of free time to spend on meepcraft. My summer schedule does not allow me to play in the morning, however im almost completely free in the afternoons. During the school year, I only go to school twice a week, and stay home the other three. This allowed me to be on when no other staff were during certain hours.

I have an incredible dedication to meepcraft, I log on every day unless something prevents me otherwise. I am continuously active in game, and log on the forums every day. I am active on teamspeak also, and you can count on me to listen in to certain events, but I am not always capable of speaking at a given time.

Player understanding:

I can very easily understand the problems of newer players when some people can not. Sometimes a question is worded in an odd way by a player that doesn't speak English as a first language, or just someone who doesn't know how to word it correctly. I have seen this as an issue when some new players ask questions, and staff give different answers confusing the player simply because they have not understood it correctly. Almost all of the times I am able to communicate with the player and give them the correct answer. What are your weaknesses? (I have several weaknesses that are very minor, such as my patience but I am working on these, and they hardly effect my working ability)

Immaturity:

This is by far my largest flaw. I am only 12 so I have quite a bit of immaturity in me, however my age is no excuse. I like to joke around, particularly with my friends, and can often take it way too far. When I offend people, sometimes I am incapable of seeing how I offended them. If I ever offend someone I try to be very quick to smooth it over, and insure I leave no hard feelings. I can be mature when needed, and I am trying very hard to fix this issue of mine. first of all you are a super cool dude and you have all of the qualifications besides one pretty big thing...

you can be pretty negative. it was less than like two weeks ago that there were some debates in global about 1.9, the eula and stuff of the sort and i said something like "it's not that bad" and you were saying somethin' like "yes it is" and stuff about how staff were tyrants or something

i think that this is something that all people around our ages do(yknow, saying what all the other cool kids are sayin)

I have several mixed feelings about this. You can sometimes be a little hostile, a little defensive, a little immature. When you want to though you're a joy to talk to on TS.
You help semi-often and you're usually very nice in global, and you have done many nice things for others.
You tend to go inactive and get upset when something goes your way. Work on dedication.
I have little real reason to believe you'll do badly. Stay focused. Prove me right.

While I do see that there is a potential lack of leadership in cooey's abilities, we will never know unless we try.
I know some great stuff about you cooey. You are:
-One of the nicest people I know
-Helpful
-Adorable/silly
-Dedicated
On that note, I cannot see cooey being the most assertive. i.e. telling people "no."
This doesn't mean we know for sure what cooey is capable of.
I wouldn't be surprised if cooey cannot handle staff, but if he can, I would bet all my money that he would be one of the greatest staff Meepcraft has seen. He has a ton of potential for someone his age. I know he is capable of doing some incredible things that could impress his peers.
He deserves a chance.

I never really agreed to be a reference I'm honestly not sure why you put me. Cooey I've been iffy on you for a while and honestly I'm a -1. Cooey, whole you are super cool I don't see you as helper materiel. You make frequent spelling errors onpurpose, which reallllly gets on my nerves and shows a lot of immaturity, and throughout my time as helper you've frequently found things to bug me about that I've done wrong.
I don't see you being able to take this position right now, as I don't think it would be a big pleasure to work with you. You aren't the nicest of people. Cooey, as much as I like you as a player I am at a -1. Have a nice day :)

So yeah cooey I think we both know each other pretty well and mess around a lot. I feel pretty sure when I say this that you can be very immature and not on task. Sometimes you can also do things out of haste and then after you have failed realized your actions. But on the other hand you are very active friendly and funny. Also most of the time very nice.

So I kinda have mixed feelings, plus it would be hard to follow rules you enforce with your cute little 7 year old voice xD

Cooey, you're such a joy to talk with and I am so happy you applied. You are online quite often and help in shout. You are a little youngster but you know Meepcraft well. I have seen way worse from people your age and I believe you are mature enough to handle the job as helper with the right training you would be set! +1 good luck!

Hai Cooey! I'm happy you applied, I've kinda been waiting for you to do so. Haha, anyway. I think you have a healthy balance of TeamSpeak, Forums and being in game. Although I see that you have a group of people you talk to often, don't be afraid to venture out and talk to people you don't know yet. (That's not the case most of the time) You have a great knowledge of the server, you also know very many commands about Towny. I remember asking you about how to do things/commands when you gave me your town. You said patience is an issue? Not that I can see in game, you are very friendly towards new players and everyone in general. However sometimes you can be abit silly, or you say things without thinking it will offend or hurt someone. What I want you to work on is thinking about what you're going to say before you say it. Really ponder and make sure everything you want to say is efficient and to the point. If you need help with this, questions or anything please ask me, or one of the staff members, we are always here for you and would love to help you. Your forums conduct is very mature as far as I've seen.
I've heard you were a bit of a troll in the past (I think when I first came back I might have seen it) but as you are so far from that now it we can tell you have really worked hard to be a better community member for a good amount of time shows your dedication and hard work at being the best you can. It takes patience to do that I mean your last application was December so you made sure to wait until you knew you were ready so kudos. You are very enthusiastic about doing good and when I talk to you I know you are genuine
You have a great personality for being a staff member and you are highly likable.

Here are my concerns and tips
You being so young might get a lot of crap from community members or you might get teased or harassed on teamspeak. Can you handle that? The Internet is RUTHLESS.
I heard from a trusted friend that you were basically harassing them when they became staff. The way they said it sounds like it might have been a misunderstanding where it was intended to be constructive criticism but that's giving you quite the benefit of the doubt. Be careful what you say to others!
Your about me section on forums is pretty immature and might not represent you in the best light when you are a respected member of the community but thats an easy fix
