I've always wanted to go to Bali! I live in a rather cold part of North America and I love getting out of the country every now and then. I am honestly ashamed of my nationality not because of it's uniqueness, but because of how small it is. I was born in Canada and I still live In Canada. I have nothing against Canada itself, I just have a problem with where in Canada I was born, Quebec. I was born into an Anglophone family, meaning my family speaks mainly English. However, it's not exactly a perk being born into an English family in a mainly french speaking society. We are pretty much forced to learn Québécois or else we can't even get a job, unless you find a job that doesn't require french communication, which I have found luckily. Everything is so expensive up here! It doesn't help that the province of Quebec has a larger tax rate than any other province in Canada with a rate of about 9.5%QST (Quebec Service Tax) compared to the tax rate of other provinces like Ontario where the tax rate is the standard 5.0% GST (Goods and Service Tax), and on top of that, both the Quebec tax and the Goods and Service Tax are added together to form a total price for an item. I can talk for hours about the problems with society up here, so all I really look for right now is leaving this horrid place and starting my life elsewhere other than this horrible place. I plan on travelling to Bali, just to be able to see a part of the world that I find interesting, I plan on starting a family in the UK since I was raised there for a few years in my childhood. I plan on either entering the film industry, and if that doesn't work out, I'll turn to DJing and music production in Europe. But my life is still ahead of me, but unfortunately, not much time is left to organize myself since I am graduating from High School in a little less under a month.
