When did you join Meepcraft? Midway 2012
Introduction: Hey guys. I’m anikin2002. Some might know me and some might not. But let me tell you who I am and what Meepcraft means to me. Meepcraft is actually quite a big part of me. I go on every day as much as I possibly can. It was the first server I had ever joined. It has a lot of amazing and nice people on it and also it’s filled with many fun and interesting things that you can’t find anywhere else which makes it special. I love hanging out with the people here and recently have formed a nice bond with the community.
Now talking about myself. I am a computer/sporty guy. I am really good with technology, no matter what it is I will always try to fix it and do my best, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t but the point here is, I always try to fix problems, I give my best in whatever I can and I am always willing to help out.
Sport is a huge part of me. I play soccer every day. I am a goalkeeper and if any of you know the German goalkeeper Neuer (got the golden glove in the world cup) well that’s what people call me. I also play basketball and I’ve been going to classes for about a year now. I also play tennis and I have been for 6-7 years too.
Music is one of the things I spend a lot of time doing. I write songs, I’ve been playing guitar for 6-7 years, and I have started to teach myself piano and have been playing for almost a year now. I have done many shows both on piano and on guitar. I also sing alongside a few other people and I can sing alone too.
I also love to help people. A lot of the times when people are down and upset, even if they say they don’t need help, or if they don’t even know me too well, I like to make sure everyone has a smile on their face because everyone deserves it. Everyone deserves to be happy and smiling and that’s what I like to make people do, smile and enjoy life.
I also know how to speak a few languages fluently, I’ll list them from first to last: Persian, English, Arabic, French and Spanish. The main language I speak though is English.
Why should you be Helper? Before I begin. I’m going to explain what being helper means to me. Being a helper, there’s one obvious thing we have to do: help out. I will do that of course, however I like to push myself above and beyond. So what I’d do is listen to other players and see how they want certain things to be. It isn’t only about keeping the server in control and helping people out, it’s about giving people a good playing experience. I will do what quite a few people said they would do but never did, I will actually listen to others, and do the best that I can to make everyone as happy as possible and make sure they get the server they deserve.
Experience:
I have been on Meep a lot and experienced a range of different players. I’ve seen it go from the very first spawn in 2012, to the one we have today. I’ve seen staff members come and go, I’ve seen the best and the worst. I’ve been an Ultimate for a few years now and I understand how the server works. Because I have been here for so long, I’ve gotten used to the commands I can do and I can easily memorize things and get used to them. I did used to own a server with plugins similar to Meep’s. I had quite a few people join it over the time it was running and it got to a decent amount of people on at a time. I no longer own this server but it let me understand what it’s like to be a part of a staff team and how to run things. Whenever people need help on Meep or my old server, I always put my full ability to help them and if I was doing something for myself, I’d put it aside and put others in front of myself. I’d go out of my way to make sure everyone is having a fun time. I also used to have towns that had quite a lot of people in them at once and they were really big and I owned them alongside with my friends and I made sure everyone was getting what they needed and wanted and I spent many hours just building things for others so they could be happy.
Activity:
I usually get home around 3Pm my time on a school day. I do all my homework and revision and once I’m done, I go on Meep. I spend majority of my free time on Meep (when I’m on my computer which is a lot). At the same time, I try to get one when there are a lot of people online, peak times are usually really early in the morning for me, however I get up early just to play on Meep with other people. However sometimes I do go on Meepcraft when most players are asleep, including staff members, this allows me to help these other players that don’t get to come on at the same time as majority of the players/staff. This can be beneficial because it can solve the server’s problems of staff inactivity and certain times.
Work Ethic:
I am 14, I don’t go to a real job. However I go to school. In school, we get a lot of projects we have to do in groups. Usually in a group, I like to be the one that takes charge and lead the others to do the best they can. We all obviously have our ups and downs so sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I put my best effort in these projects and I try my best to make sure that others do too. Because I want to make sure others can succeed as well as myself. I also like to take the responsibility of giving myself most of the work so others don’t have to do as much and be as stressed. However I time myself to do certain things so I can get all my work done in a day.
Time Zone:
Majority of the players on Meepcraft live on the other side of the world. And I’m pretty sure no staff member lives near my area. Me living here with an almost 12 hour difference in most places, some being more than 12 hours apart from my time, can be a good thing. Because of this, I can go online at times when other staff members aren’t online and help players out. I can also take care of modreqs and save time for other staff members who come later on. I always see people complain that there is no staff on at certain times and I try to help them as much as possible but I am restricted to certain commands, and with me being part of the team I can be there when others aren't for things like modreqs.
Ban History:
I have been banned before, yes. Here's why in order from first to last:
1) When I was younger and over protective with my stuff. PVP Logging. (Temp ban 2013)
2) Spamming (Only once, Temp ban2013)
3) KitPvP Hacking-I was fairly new to the hacking world, and I used it, and I realized that it made the game greatly unfair for other players as well as ruining the game for the others around you. Furthermore, it makes the game boring for the player as well. (Perm2015)
What are your weaknesses? Criticism:
Sometimes it gets to me. When people say things to you that you don’t really appreciate, or things that you simply don’t like, it gets to me. 90% of the time I do my best to block the hate out, and it works, however that other 10% can slip out sometimes. What I will then do in this situation is stay silent mostly and just don’t say much, I don’t offend the other person back.
TeamSpeak:
In my opinion, my TeamSpeak activity and increased a lot. I’m sure a lot of people who see me there will say the same too. However sometimes, I just won’t feel like it, and won’t come online. If I am needed for something important, like a certain meeting, I will go online, but I won’t always be there and on Meep at the same time, but I try to spend as much time as I possibly can on TeamSpeak and connect with other players and I have made some good friends over the past few weeks.
