Price the new 1.9 items and blocks!

hello y'all!

So I have created this thread to get some people's opinions on what they would be willing to pay for the new 1.9 items and blocks!

items:

Added shields
Added the elytra
New mob: Shulker (head)
Added Chorus plants
New Purpur blocks
New End Rod block
Added dragon head block
Added beetroot and beetroot soup (from MC:PE)
Added tipped arrows
Added spectral arrows
Added Frost Walker enchantment and frosted ice block

also provide a rank that each item should be sold to.
for example:

elytra = elite+

shields take one iron ingot and 6 wood planks + an optional banner. a plain shield should cost about 60 meebles(wow)
elytra should be in the exclusive shop for 75k, because they are kinda rare. but anyone should be allowed to use elytra.
there is no shulker head.
chorus is gonna be really cheap
purpur really cheap too
end rod maybe 100 each
dragon head should be worth more than dragon egg because you only have like a 1% chance where an egg is 100% (5 mil? idk)
beetroot should be cheap aswell
tipped arrows require potions so the cost of arrows + the cost of the potion they are made of
spectral arrows need glowstone i think, so 15 meebs each is probably cool
frost walker and mending enchantments are only found in chests, and you know how that is... 50k each i bet

Egg is worth 5 mil alone.
I wouldn't be surprised if the head went for the same. Then again they also spawn in fortresses. I don't know the rarity.

To be honest, elytra wings shouldn't be sold at all. I mean, the elytra wings allow you to glide, fly, and even though it's not infinite you can still get something out of it. The elytra wings would loose the significance of /fly. I mean, if exclusives, supremes, and elites are allowed to get a hold of elytra wings they can fly, glide, and /fly would just be useless.

the elytra can't hover, /fly will still be superior because of being able to hover, so making it easier to build tall structures and whatnot

That's a good point, but I think it still makes /fly slightly less significant. Maybe instead of exclusive+ it should be elite+

Ill be opening shops in /Pwarp store for all of the new items when they are released.
And the elytra imo should be supreme+ considering elites have enough perks as it is.

I agree Summrs! Only Ultimate's should /fly, and only Supreme's should be able to glide!

This is absolutely ridiculous. Elytra will be available to any player in regular survival mode (unlike /fly), and you have to jump off a cliff to even fly with them, never mind you can't hover. Perhaps it can be a donor perk (VIP+ to use) if you really want to have some sort of limitation.

Why not just make it sell for obscene prices? It'll be tough to get.

Adding Elytra to the donor shop for Elite + is a bad idea. Elytra will become a rarity just like dragon eggs. 5mil+ per wing (at the begging)
Making it available for Elite+ will decrease the value of /ultimate. Making it so you have to buy it from player to player won't really damage ultimate's value as adding it to the donor shop would

Purpur/Chorus: Cheap. Maybe 5 Meebles per Purpur block, just because the plants are a pain to harvest.
Shields: Don't bother selling at all, it's like selling torches.
End Stone Brick: Again, don't bother. Just sell normal End Stone.
Tipped Arrows: Don't sell at all, sell the item listed below
Dragon Breath: Critical item that will be a pain to get normally as you need to fight a dragon. It is what creates Lingering potions, which create tipped arrows. Should sell for about. . . 25-30 Meebles per bottle, as each creates 3 Lingering Potions.
Now, for the most debated item: The Elytra
Many of you feel this item takes meaning from /fly. I can understand this, but you need to understand how the Elytra works before forming your opinion. This item would be completely worthless to builders because you cannot place blocks properly as with /fly. Basically, Elytras are only good for the fun of gliding. I would suggest adding to Exclusive or Supreme shops because of the limited supply in world generation, and these ranks are very under appreciated, specifically Exclusive, who really only gains /heal.

Depends on what they're made of and how much those blocks cost altogether. That's in my opinion. It's the more logical way to go.

I think things will resolve themselves, you are not the first to consider this update, we will adapt as necessary.
I like discussion on this topic but not the arguments;
Please try to limit your replies to those based on logic/reasoning beyond: "enough as it is"

ps we dont need soup if we just have the beetroot seed.

Eleytras should be 10k each. If you die with one, that's 75k gone, but 10k is still a loss, but you can manage.

That's not a very thought out response. 10k per wing? Just because you die? The fact that it would be sold for 75k in the donor shop is 1 in a million in the first place. Elytra are not going to be added to the donor shop. They're going to be like dragon eggs.

HAHAHA, no. Why does it feel like I'm the only one on this server that read the wiki page on this stuff?

The Elytra will be about as common as the randomly appearing chests in /warp wilds, if not easier, however it's one per Ender ship which come with a dangerous to get to Ender Dragon head.

PLEASE see this page for why every person going OMA THEY"LL BE WORTH BAJILLIONS has clearly not done more than look at what they do. Sure ults will be the main source of them as they can fly in the End as the stuff on/near End islands will be the only source of these awesome items, however Ults have one problem THEY HAVE NO USE FOR THESE. They get resold for what I think will be around say 50kish or less to anyone that wants them. The other way of getting to these end islands is the riskier way that you basically guaranteed a hired body guard so no a hole decides "hey you're trying to get to this island too, by building a 1x block wide path to the island then using an ender pearl. Enjoy this arrow NOOB!" that and so no mobs can kill you as endermen are dangerous when building these paths.

Lastly remember this the Elytra's durability goes away as you fly and they CANNOT ALLOW YOU TO FLY UPWARDS FOREVER, it's more like a three block increase after you fly down 10 blocks while moving forwards. At most they'll just allow you to safely go from a stupidly high point to a further away point from you horizontally and lower than you pretty quickly, that's about it asides from looking really fing cool and being really fun to use.
