junelawnchair When did you join Meepcraft? September. Played for 4-5 months. Introduction: My real name is Morgan. I am big into music. I have been in band for 8 years (marching band for 3), and can play 3 instruments: flute, F horn, and piano. I have been in choir for 11 years, and have participated in All-Country choir 6 times. I can speak broken Spanish. I have been a Venture Scout for a year, and am a part of "think tank" for my scouting district. I have been teaching kindergartners and 6th graders for 3 years as a catechist assistant for my church. I am a top tennis player at my school, and get an average GPA of 3.4. In the future, I would like to go through NROTC, and get a biology major.
I have 3 younger siblings (one being SwaggyDanish).
I have been playing Minecraft for 3 years (4 on Xbox360). My two favorite kinds of servers are towny and pure vanilla. My favorite mod is Pixelmon. I am an adequate builder. I came back to Meepcraft when 20 of my friends wished to create a town together. Why should you be Helper? Positive: No one can always be positive, but people find me to be a joy around because I can keep people happy. It is easy for me to ignore drama, so I am often a vent for problems.
Unbaised: Yes, I may be a newer player. However, this also means that I don't have any grudges against people. I'm not going to tease players, or refuse to help people.
Tolerance: I can sit with total newbies in any situation for hours on end.
Experience: Yes, I may know how to configure plugins or use commands, but what I mean when I say experience is that I know what I am suppose to do as a staff member. You're not a god, you're not popular, so don't act like you're on top of the world. Staff is a job. It is your job to care for players, and support the server. What are your weaknesses? Sensitive: Sometimes when people insult me it's hard to get over it. I won't lash out at people, but it can make be frustrated or upset.
Naive: I don't catch on to sarcasm, or certain jokes. It can make me look serious at times. I can be oblivious, and if I don't know something, I ask lots of questions. Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Whether I get staff or not, I am going to continue to help players and support the server whenever I can.

Hey Peri, you're one of the nicest people I've talked to on meep thus far; you're patient, kind, and won't back down from a challenge. I always see you on teamspeak talking to everyone, even the people you don't know so well to make it a positive and friendly environment. You're helpful and willing + eager to learn. Although right now your forums activity might not look so hot, you're working on it and that's good. Anyways, definite +1 from me, good luck :)

I feel that you may have the capacity to be helper, but you seem to have struggled in displaying it in your app. It wasn't the length of it, but the content.

Hi Peri!
You seem like a very kind and knowledgable person. I liked your app. Personally, I think you need to acquaint yourself with more people on the server first. Establish yourself... Be on teamspeak more, talk in global more.
Show your ability to help by answering questions in shout.
I also think you need to be more active on forums. It's not too hard to move beyond "member".

-1 for now, but I definitely think helper is a good fit for you in the future! :)

Also- try to be a little bit more specific if it comes to making another app. Be a little more detailed in your minecraft knowledge (towny experience, mini games, what you've done to help so far, etc.)

I have known you for 2-3 weeks and from that I can tell that you are a very kind and generous person.
Although,
I havent seen you a lot in-game or on teamspeak.
You are quite active on forums,which I think is good but you need to increase your activity on all 3 formats of the game.
The app was not quite as good as it should be so

Hi Peri!
You're generally a good person. You're active in the community, from what I see. You're pretty nice. I have nothing against you. You pretty much have all the traits that a helper needs. But the time that you've been here is hindering me a little, but I've decided that it's not going to alter my judgement, because there have been people that have been here less time than you have before applying for helper and get accepted. Take Klutch, for example. He came in February of this year. One month later, he applied for helper. Another month later, he was promoted to mod. When I came, he was already a SuperMod. I watched him become Admin. This was all in a matter of 9 months or so! I was surprised. If he can do something like that, I don't see why you can't either.

This is one thing that is really misunderstood in apps. The length of the app is not as important as the content (do they give an honest introduction, do they go in-depth in what they can bring to staff? etc.). You could have a kid who joined three days ago write a huge, three-page app, but it would either be repetition of something he already said or nonsense.
