Introduction: Hey Meepcraft. My name is Klitcher, also known as martinq17. I am a junior in high school looking to major in journalism in College. I am the Copy Editor for my school Newspaper, and as a side hobby, I am proficient in music as I play many instruments.
I joined Meepcraft in November of 2012, and I have been an off-and-on player for a long time until a little over a month ago. I have been helper for slightly under 3 weeks as well :)
Why you should be Mod? Although it may seem short, these weeks as Helper have allowed me to get a strong feel for how staff runs, how the server runs, and the role I play to benefit both of those factors. I have grown outstandingly on a personal level and I have formed friendships that will last a lifetime. Being a Helper has brought me so much joy and knowledge to use in my future on Meepcraft, and in the real world. However, I feel as though I can move forward in Staff onto a more intensive level. The experience and various situations that I have gotten from the Helper position has only increased my potential in Staff and the betterment of the server. I have handled situations varying from harassment to abuse of mayor permissions. I have seen it all, and I am ready to take my experience and knowledge to the next level.
What are your weaknesses? One of my main weaknesses is cockiness. Sometimes when I'm put on the spot, in order to not come across as unintelligent or unknowing, I overcompensate and come across as cocky and rude.
Secondly, some of my humor with my friends and other players can be taken in a way that I do not intend it. I'm trying to be more sensitive with what I say and how I word things.
