Introduction: Hello Meep! This is adloves applying for the moderator position. I have been a helper for exactly a month now and I have enjoyed every second of it. Some things that I enjoy are anime, dogs, Minecraft, writing, and photography. My favorite anime in The Future Diary. I have 3 dogs of my own. I have been taking care of dogs for a really long time and more recently I volunteer at an animal shelter. I love to write short stories for school and for fun! I take nature photography in my free time as well. I have a lot of experience when it comes to Meepcraft. I have been a member since October of 2012. I have been a helper twice and I am hoping to go far in the ranks to prove what I can really do! My favorite part of Meepcraft would have to be the community. Very close and you can't get that with any other server. It is like a family!
Why you should be Mod? I should become a moderator because I am extremely confidante that I will be able to preform the duties necessary with ease. I am already extremely comfortable as a helper, but mod has given me something to look forward to. I have been trying my absolute hardest to prove that my last experience as helper does not reflect what I can truly do, and I think I have proved that well. Now is my chance to show that I can and will be an excellent mod.
Experience: I am experienced as a staff member for multiple reasons. I have been helper twice and I know all commands for the position. I have been studying other commands at you need to know to be mod as well as practicing the attitude. As a moderator you are required to be trusted, and I think that I have proved that I am trust worthy. I have answered lots of modreqs and am extremely active on the forums. Primarily on report a player. I always try to keep up with player reports so the rule breakers understand the actual rules.
Knowledge: Some might say that experience and knowledge are the same, but I disagree. Knowledge is having to know and understand what is necessary while experience is simply having seniority. I am extremely familiar with prism. I have been using it for a really long time and I am really advanced when it comes to using the commands. I have been also extremely familiarized with the banning system. You can't ban someone without evidence to support it. I am always 100% ready to take screen shots and screen record hackers (a very important mod job). I have also been trained to catch x-rayers. I am prepared to jump into this position with ease! I even help some current staff member using prism. I am excellent at using it and I can be great at mod because of this.
Dedication: I have always stayed loyal to the Meepcraft server and staff team. Disputing extremely rough times in my life I have decided to stay. When I got demoted from helper last December I never quit trying. I have never not been on for more than 2 weeks for a year. I have been extremely active since I got helper and always doing modreqs. I have no plans to resign because Meepcraft is a family. I will stay here until the end. I deserve mod because I am loyal and I know all the necessary commands they a mod requires.
Activity: I am online a very often and always doing available modreqs. I have excellent forums activity and do player reports often. I am trying to get mod so I ca be more helpful and do more hacking reports. I have a good screen recorder and I know how to catch hacker. I will be very active and always improving the community. I have often banned players not following rules because I don't want players to get away with that. I can be very serious at times so I don't take rule breaking as a joke. I think that this will help me as mod.
What are your weaknesses? I have some weaknesses that may or may not affect my job. These can go away over time, but it will take time to learn how to. These things have been with me for a while, but some are new things that came with me to helper. I am trying hard to get these fixed and I hope that they will get fixed with time.
Patience: I can be extremely impatient at times. I was impatient to get my interview for helper interview. This sometimes affects me while doing modreqs. It can make me impatient waiting for new players to respond. I have improved on this and I never yell at any player for this, but it takes time for me to calm down.
Teamspeak: I am very shy in teamspeak. I talk to a lot of the staff members and a few players, but in the end I just end up not speaking. I am active in ts, but I have an issue with talking to people in it. I have improved on this over a while and I try to talk, but this still remains sometimes while in ts. People often encourage me to speak up and I hope to be really good at speaking up in the not so distant future.
Global chat: I don't really like to speak in global chat. I usually look at it to moderate the chat, but I never speak in it. Just something I do. I have not improved on this yet, but each day I am hoping to start a conversation, but I don't always.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: In the end I hope you see that I am an excellent helper and I have improved immensely since my last time. I think I am ready to take on the challenge and become an amazing moderator. I have my weaknesses, but in the end I will become a great mod.
