I think you're the one who needs to research. It's not a virus. As I'll explain again, a bug in the iOS can't register the very specific Unicode characters to form a message, it activates the phones only fail safe because it doesn't know what to do.

If it is a virus, how can it be stopped by merely turning off the notification bar? Clearly you are sticking to a rumor you probably got off reddit. Do your research and you can easily find its not a virus but a bug.

1.) Still belive it's a virus 2.) I don't go on reddit, never been there 3.0 I did do the researchand you do relize people have been arrrested for "sending viruses" right? That's more than enough proof for me.
