But One thing I don't understand is staff is so big on making the server child friendly when /dicing is a form of gambling.
I think that this shouldn't be removed.
Yes, dicing is technically gambling but I think that kids are capable of knowing not to do it.

Actually, the combat in MineCraft is highly stylized and unreal. It's just clicking a mouse and pressing some keys. The way you fight is very simplified, there's not blood, or guns, or gore. The death is simply someone falling sideways then disappearing. However, dicing shows more relation to the 'real' world because of the procedure, the odds, and pretty much the fact that you can bet in the 'real' world by clicking a mouse and pressing some keys.

Monkey, shut up. Thing is, we aren't talking about Call Of Duty. Call Of Duty does encourage murder and violence, and there is lots of controversy going on about it. But Minecraft is, like Cookies said which you called dumb, clicking buttons and clicking a mouse. Call Of Duty is shooting someone until you see blood spew out of their head. Sometimes, you say things that the dumb part of my brain knows is dumb. Maybe you should think before you say something stupid.

It is very graphic. Literally, when you kill someone, there is blood spraying out of the person. In Modern Warfare, a puddle of blood collects under the dead body. In Minecraft, like Cookies said, the body turns red and they fall other then they go "poof."

IRL: Murdering: You murdre people and you get sent to jail and have to pay a huge fine.

No one will go and murder a person and expect to get anything good out of it. You can't say this encourages murder because of how un realistic this does. I bet only 1/billionth chance this will encourage a player to murder someone in real life.

However, games like COD. Does, because it is a story that a person can relate to. Also the graphics make everything look in COD. You can't relate kitpvp to real life. It doesn't work.

You simply cannot bring kitpvp into this matter in compare it to murdering.

Dicing is not just about meebles, you can dice for other reasons, yes it can become addicting but thats on you, you have to set your own limit to how much you can dice and how much you are willing to risk, dicing isn't much of a problem.

Firstly, there's the gambling part. People think it's a good way to get money. What they don't know is that it's also a way to lose a lot of money.
Now, what makes this different from casinos is that in dicing, people pay AFTER there's a winner. This results in dice scams and people pestering others to go to a score higher than what was agreed to, which can lead to really bad arguements. In casinos, people pay BEFORE they do it, and I have not seen a single casino report.
