Introduction: Hello everybody! I am Bob4444444. In real life, I do many activities. I play piano, and also play various sports; such as golf and basketball. For basketball, I play in-house at my school and I hope to make the travel team next year. For golf, I am on a team that I participate in all Summer (only 2 days a week, and not a lot of hours.) I am also apart if a robotics league (FLL) and we have made it to the state finals two years in a row. I am an honors student, and I am trying my hardest for high honors. I am also in Advanced Math and Advanced English/Literature. I try to keep my academics my primary focus, but I still play on Meepcraft a lot of the time. But now it's Summer, so I hope to be spending a lot of time on Meepcraft! Even when I go back to school, I still hope to be on a lot!
I have been playing Meepcraft since August 19th, 2013. Once I started playing, I couldn't stop. It is such an amazing server an community, I couldn't log off! It was an amazing time of my life. I made so many new friends and got to do so many things some other people don't do! After three tries, I got helper 5/24/14, which means I have been helper for about a month. In that time, I have really enjoyed being a helper and worked the hardest I could. I have done 440 modreqs in about 4 weeks. Being a helper has taught me a lot; ingame and real life. Being a helper has been the greatest time of my life on Meepcraft. It has been a great experience meeting all the players of the Meepcraft Community, new and old! It has been such a great oppritunity to be a staff member here. A lot of people have been telling me to apply for the moderator position. I didn't feel ready when they told me at first. But now, after weeks of training and being a helper, I feel like I am well-experienced, know the commands, and should deserve the oppritunity to move up to the moderator rank in the Meepcraft Staff Chain!
Why should you be a moderator?
Experience- I have been helper for a month now. In that time, I have really learned everything there really is to be helper. I've learned to use hawkeye, and many other commands. I have been taught many things by many people and it has helped a lot. I know a month doesn't seem like a long time to have a lot of experience, but I have accomplished a lot. I have done many cases, hard and easy. All of them have helped me advance.
Work Ethic- With a total of 440 modreqs, I feel that my work ethic is more than well. I try to do as much things as possible, and get them accomplished the best way I can. Everything I do, I work to the very end. No matter how easy or hard it is, I work my hardest until it is all done. It's not easy, but after it's all done, it's definitely worth it. It makes me happy, and another player happy. I really like to do modreqs, and it is great what I can get accomplished in the end.
Dedication- I am very dedicated to the server. My activity is very well ingame, on Teamspeak, and forums. I always like talking to the community, but sometimes I get busy with staff stuff. The community is my primary focus, and I try to help everybody as much as possible. I am mostly always on Teamspeak and forums since it is accessible on my phone. My ingame activity is weaker than Teamspeak and forums, but I still feel that I have a good ingame activity. Overall, I feel I have a great dedication! I care more about the players more than anything, and try to help them as much as I can.
Involvement- I am very involved with the community and the server. I always try to talk to as many people as I can; ingame, on forums, and Teamspeak. I don't like ignoring people and not hanging out with the community. I love the community, and love to talk to everybody. It's amazing how nice the community is. But, I still have to be involved with staff too. I work as hard as I can as staff and talk to the community as much as I can. Sometimes I get very busy. But most of the time, I am able to be involved with the community and help the community grow and develop.
Performance- With a total of 440 modreqs, my performance has been excellent since I've become helper. I have worked very hard in the past 4 weeks that I have been helper! I have done many kicks and bans, and not all of the bans have been easy! I have done very hard cases, and it has been a challenge. But once I start, I won't stop until it is all done and everything that needed to be done is accomplished. I always try to work, no matter what I am doing, and do it as efficiently as possible. I really feel that my performance as a helper has been excellent and I am ready to move up to the moderator position.
Weaknesses:
Maturity- My maturity has always been an issue. I really like to have fun, but sometimes I just go to far. For the past couple weeks, I have really been working on my maturity. I still like to have fun, I just don't go far. I like having a good laugh, but when things have to get serious, I get as serious as possible, no matter what. Everyday I try to get more mature. Some days are better than others. But, I will always try my hardest working on this and make sure I am mature but can still have fun.
Temper- Sometimes, I cannot control myself. When something goes wrong, I get very frustrated. Sometimes I get super mad, and just am not in a good mood. But, I am really trying to work on this, and I have definitely improved. I try to control myself, take a couple deep breaths, then forget about it. Then it feels like nothing every happened.
Rudeness- Also, sometimes I can be very rude. I try not to be, but when someone gets annoying, I just snap. I have been working on this issue and I have been trying to be as nice as I can in every situation. Sometimes it's not easy. But even so, all people should be treated with respect, no matter how annoying they may be. I will always try to be nice and treat every player with utmost respect.
Conclusion: In conclusion, I think I'm ready for mod. I have had a great performance as helper, and I feel like I'm ready to move up a step. Being apart of the Meepcraft Staff Team has been an amazing experience! I have loved every single part of being helper, and would be very happy to be a moderator! I hope I can be the newest moderator of the Meepcraft Staff! All criticism and feedback are greatly appreciated!
