I'm calling a week before it's actually implemented. Hopefully towns won't get an abrupt reset in that time to distract us from this delay, but why would the server do something like that?

Don't worry, towns wouldn't actually be reset. I was making a reference to Skyblock being abruptly reset recently.

does your inventory/items get deleted? do the towns get wiped? does the map get reset?

Also, since you most likely can't tell from all of this... They're poking fun at the idea, not actually planning to reset towny world...

Resets are only for when the server crashes and breaks down in some way or form, silly.
