You know.. if my comments seemed directed only to the techs, I made a mistake and I should try to be more verbose and constructive in my criticism.
I imagine the techs are doing the best they can with what they have, and any project like this, sadly, will take as long as it takes to get done.
I have been in their shoes, I'm no young kid, as you can probably tell from my posts all over the forums. I have had a boss push and pressure me into a deadline that was barely achievable with no regard for possible problems down the line. We see this impulsiveness across the server, case in point, resetting skyblock without notice and the random tinkering that goes on to cause various worlds to crash. So my concern is more the leadership than the worker bees. It's not the techs job to keep us up to date on progress, and its also not their job to make the contingency plans for implementation.
A new eta, with a guarantee of no earlier implementation than that, and a strong bias towards that eta overshooting the actual completion so that proper testing can be done would be essential in renewing my faith, and having me consider upgrading my rank.
