Did you discuss a concern or suggestion about the spawn on our website? Well, we actually listened to them! We've made the spawn much more open and...

We are happy to announce the opening of a new spawn. We've designed the spawn with navigation and simplicity as core priorities.

Answering a Design Problem
In our previous spawn, the main spawn point was located far away from main attractions. There was little to no attention given to the placement of each part of the spawn. The new world is designed with placement as the primary focus. Each venue: Spleef, Parkour, Airship, Bank, Shop and Library have been positioned with equal distances to the main spawn point. The new spawn is the new solid foundation we can use to build a vibrant community center for MeepCraft. For players getting used to the new setup, we've recently added a variety of different navigational indicators and messages.

Increased Viewing Distance
We've decided to increase the viewing distance so that players will be able to have an optional greater view of spawn. To tweak these settings yourself, you can go to Minecraft settings and change the chunk...

After much deliberation we have decided it would be best to remove the moderator application in its entirety. Instead, moderators will be promoted from helper by supermods monitoring performance* until it's to a degree we feel fit. The interview will still occur and will be adjusted to accommodate the lack of application - including questions about prism and other basic staff commands on top of the thorough moderation supermods have been doing. We see many benefits to this: helpers will continue to perform their best through their promotion, potential applicants are saved embarrassment or ridicule from being denied, it will encourage more dialogue between high and low staff, and, most importantly, helpers will be encouraged to have more of a community presence.

This is where you guys come in! To accommodate the lack of community input in this decision, which is crucial to know a helper's performance, we encourage you to use staff complaints for any issue you might be...

Here's a list of some of our various improvements over the past month:

Infected:
- New lobby
- Tutorial
- Beds are no longer usable in the Alpha6 map
- Enderchests are removed to prevent players from storing items
- Enderman kit is fixed

Parkour:
- Health Regen added to Cactus Parkour

KitPvP:
- Killstreaks now go up to 500

MeepVote:
- New voting plugin is complete with rewards and meebles

MeepShop:
- New MeepShop is complete with attention given to lores, enchanted items, /filled items, and undercutting

Laser:
- New lobby
- Tutorial

Misc:
- Pwarps are no longer disappearing
- Spleef is fixed and achievements were added
- Media applications are now available
- Staff chat no longer overrides /ttoggle
- Custom Meepcraft resource pack is completed for various minigames (edited)

Recently we have been encountering people abusing the anonymous ban appeal system we have implemented.
Due to this we are finding ourselves having to take the time to go back onto forums and deal with all the reports and remove the appeals. We have also been dealing with people posting un-needed content and disrespecting members of the community.

We completely understand that constructive criticism is very important and we value your opinions relating to each member that may appeal. Any comments or concerns that arise with a banned player can be PMed to any Mod+ at any time. We still encourage you to message us anything you hear or notice from the outside. Any messages will be 100% confidential and your name will not be mentioned.

You will still be able to see everything you post and comment on but will not be able to see other appeals. This section is set up just like staff complaints. We hate to have to do this but while we work on a new solution for this issue,...
