For many people these are pretty common, and some are popular movie phrases that have been around for years. If you answered with 1) Luke. 2) Mirror. 3) Is. 4) A. 5) They. then you might be from a different dimension because those are all incorrect, and here's the real answers 1) No. 2) Magic. 3) Was. 4) The. 5) He.

At first this seems like a small issue, at most a few movie lines got misinterpreted: similar to the telephone game we've all played, after enough time even a simple phrase can become convoluted. However when you look deeper into the issue it become more complex than simple misinterpretation, let's look at the 1937 film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in order to look at the issue further:

In this scene we find the Evil Queen speaking to her Magic Mirror on the Wall. Everybody knew it was a magic mirror, yet most of us get the quote wrong and we use this quote "Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all." As I said earlier this can be attributed to a small misunderstanding, but the weird part is that the majority of people remember it incorrectly. How can so many people, kids and adults alike, remember hearing the same thing even though it's not correct, especially considering that we've never shared any experiences. For instance @iMelXP and I both thought it was "Mirror mirror" yet we've never interacted before in our lives, so why are we able to interpret these movie lines incorrectly but consistently when we're thousands of miles apart?

This is called the Mandela Effect, and it's used to describe the phenomenon when a majority of people, usually complete strangers, remember events occurring in the same way yet the memories are not consistent with reality, or what's reported in newspapers, etc. It arose from an issue in the 1980's when Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, during imprisonment many people from around the world remember him being executed, many people remember it very eerily similar with precise details. However the issue is that Nelson Mandela was never executed and passed away many years later in 2013. So why do so many people remember him dying, and can even give similar accounts of his death?

Here's another hot topic: The Berenstain Bears. There is an entire reddit focused on the issue of how to speel Berenstain Bears. I personally think this issue is what skyrocketed the Mandela Effect, many people seem to be affected by the Berenstain Conspiracy and it's really quite simple. Growing up as a child I loved to read the Berenstain Books, I've been through dozens of them and so have all my younger siblings. However is you asked each of us how the title is spelled we would gladly reply Berenstein Bears. Except that's wrong. The actual spelling is Berenstain Bears. It's one small letter but it's made a huge commotion, how can almost 90% of the people that have read these books not know the proper spelling? Especially considering kids read the books, and at that age every letter matters, I remember I was so huge into pronunciation and phonics, how could I have missed an 'a' and replaced it with 'e'.

If you try to find results for this phenomenon you'll most likely run across entries for false memories which are explained as: "the psychological phenomenon in which a person recalls a memory that did not actually occur." Proponents of Mandela Effect say the difference between ME and FM is that those with false memories cannot accept reality and insist that the memories are real, while those experience ME accept reality (in some way).

The issue even has some historical basis. Here's a famous picture of King Henry VIII:

As you can tell he's standing boldly in his red coat, clutching what seems to a dagger. However here'w how most people remember this portrait:

As you can tell there is a big difference in these two photos. Most people remember this portrait with Henry sitting down, gluttonously clutching a turkey leg and chewing into it. Unfortunately this portrait wasn't characterized until modern times, in fact Turkeys weren't in England during the time of Henry's reign, he's most likely never had a turkey leg in his life! So how, even through all these hundreds of years, do people incorrectly remember the portrait in the same way?

Those that are hardcore believers in ME say that the it's caused by warping through different realities. They assume that they come from a reality where the correct phrase is "Luke, I am your father" and got warped into a reality exactly the same except for that one line.

A lot of people experience an ME that involves celebrities dying/not dying similar to the Mandela incident that sparked the theory. Personally I always thought Audrey Hepburn died in her prime, early 20's, in an automobile accident. I was 100% positive that's what happened, however yesterday I learned that Audrey Hepburn died in 1993 over the age of 60 years old!

Lastly I clearly remember, as a kid and teenager, eating Maple Brown Sugar Pop Tarts. I love Maple Brown Sugar, and when I could get my hands on those pop-tarts I always made sure I did. Unfortunately just yesterday I discovered that Maple Brown Sugar Pop Tarts don't exist and they never have. I immediately told my roommate about it and he started freaking out, he said his parents always bought that brand and he originally hated them but grew to love Maple Brown Sugar and now he even gets the Quaker oatmeal with the same flavor. We did some google research and found that Pop Tarts has only offered a Cinnamon Brown Sugar flavor, we're both shocked. I really dislike the taste of cinnamon and would never choose cinnamon brown sugar over the delicious blueberry/strawberry that I loved. So what happened to those pop tarts? Did they ever exist? Did they exist in one reality then I was warped to this one? To be honest we'll never know but I swear I've had those before.
