Summary of Bug: You job level will reset if you:

change jobs AND warp to a different world without earning any xp in that new job.

this is me deliberately reseting my woodcutter and crafter levels by doing exactly what i said:

Something else i just noticed.

It rounds xp down to the nearest whole integer when warping as well.

I tested to see what would happen if i changed to two separate jobs without gaining xp in either:
Started: farmer 19 (gained xp) changed to woodcutter 3, left, changed to crafter 2. warped to wilds: crafter reset to 1. Woodcutter didn't reset but when i changed to it, i couldn't gain xp in it. then when i warped again, it reset as well.

So still seems to confirm. if you change jobs, then warp without gaining xp, that job will reset to 0.

Also, I believe that the farmer job resets no matter if you TP or not. It doesn't matter anyway because you don't earn anything from farmer.

 

I have tested it with farming and it doesn't seem to reset so long as you earn xp before warping, same as all the others. I noticed that for some reason harvesting pumpkins didn't proc the xp gain, while harvesting carrots, and breeding cows and chickends does.

It may be that i glitched myself by doing two job resets at once, but i no longer gain xp for woodcutter in towns that i can tell. (That or woodcutter is disabled for everyone in towns?)

 

This was already known before today. Thanks for sharing regardless though. I hope admins/techs are working on a fix.

 

A cooldown on job changes is being implemented upon the next restart to resolve the issue, meaning it will be completely synced across all servers. Moving to resolved!
