Why we should consider your appeal: Honestly I have really nothing to help my case, and this will sound cliche. I've had too many bans to count and it's really stupid of me to keep getting more, it shows nothing but a pattern of being a bad player and person in general. You can't trust me because you have no reason to. I know, and I respect that. But the only thing I have to say is that this is one of the first hacking offences I've had, the illegal mod was something I was not previously informed about , because I was falsely told by the community that it was allowed (I should've went to a staff member) and honestly, I should've checked the allowed mod list before even getting it. Nevertheless I have xrayed about 6 months ago and I was unbanned thanks to the forgivingness of Sirr_Pig. Though I've had countless chat offences and have been mostly a nuisance to players, I have bonded with people who I couldn't have found anywhere else. I miss playing with them and enjoying the serenity of just having fun. Playing competitively is fun until you realize that nobody cares for anyone but themselves, that they want to be #1 (and I do too) but there's always a second, third, tenth or even a hundreth place, and I've learned to be happy wherever I lie. This is too far derailed, but I think I want to have one last try. One last chance to make my presence in the community worth something.

The account, "quippley" was found to be using the same IP as "Legendcaleb".

 

Using in the present? I used that account around late november , I haven't used it since, I'm guessing there are other ips tied into it?

 

Have you ever used any proxies? Anything to change your IP?

 

I used a VPN twice before, once to get past an ip ban and another trying to join meep lol

EDT: I have a default proxy, but it changes my ip around every year, but my current ip was changed last september

 

Ok. I have quippley being used by 2 ips. One is no doubt a proxy @ 4h ago. The other @ 4h2m ago, was not a proxy, but did match your IP. Can you explain this?

 

Huh that actually is weird but I was playing technic at around that time
But that would mean I used the proxy/Vpn while logged in, and switching my ip would've disconnected me, right ?

EDIT : I know my friend used the account sometime in December, so there should be more than 2 ips if I did use a VPN

First offence? - Can't be xray, that was 6 months ago and xray was a mod not even part of a hacked client. Illegal Mod? Honestly that was a mistake on my part for getting false information from the community and saying that it wasn't illegal. And honestly? Damage Indicators is at the same severity level as flying/forcefield in kitpvp? I am sincerely sorry for hacking and honestly yes, it was stupid. But my ban history really lacks in this category, and I hope for another chance, even if I may not deserve it.

I know you guys are busy, but I really would like to get on again. I would really appreciate if a supermod/admin would reply to this post so I don't feel cut off, even though I know that's not what's happening. It's been over 44 days according to /seen Chaase did.

I think the perm ban is more towards the fact that you deliberately used an alternate account to avoid getting banned on your main, by the way. That, combined with your xray which can technically be considered a hacked client is more than enough reason for us to permanently ban you for this.

 

Yes I understand and honestly I used an alt because I was currently banned on legend but you're right I was stupid. For X-ray, that was about 6 months ago and I wasn't really familiar with the community and I didn't care, but I can assure you I have no intention of doing anything of this sort again. (Or using random alts that aren't even owned by me)

 

Since no one has said this, why should we trust you again when you continuously break rules and get banned.

Why should they unban you?

 

Honestly they have no reason to trust me but my only defense is that I have too much to lose if I get banned again. My friends and other things that I care about and wish to return to. I just want to join again and have a chance to change

 

Unbanned. We've spoken in skype, and you know very well what is expected of you.

You are going to be absolutely golden, and further issues that lead to a ban will end up with a blacklisting of your account, and no hope for appeal. I will deny every subsequent appeal the instant I see them up.
