Accepted Skwisher (i Was Banned?!)

Why we should consider your appeal:
Just today, I got a message on the forums from my town mayor to ask why I was banned. I had no idea what he was talking about, but sure enough, when I logged on, I had been banned for duping. I have never duped once on this server, I haven't even got a clue on how to dupe. I think it is outrageous that I have even been accused of this so I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me what is going on.

It is a little concerning that you had so many item pickups right outside of a nether portal when on the other side there were rails going into the one side. Can you explain why you would put rails going into a nether portal?

 

Ok ,to be honest, I wanted to see if that duping machine actually worked. Well guess what, it doesn't. I saw the design whilst I was youtube surfing and just wanted to try it out. The bug had been patched in the 1.7.4 update and is unexploitable as I only rejoined the sever after the 1.7.9 update (from being absent for about 2 years). The reason there are a lot of item pickups is because I tried it a few times. Yes it was dumb that I tested this out in meepcraft instead of my creative world but I was on at the time and wasn't bothered to switch only periodically to come back. Also, if you check to see the items that I picked up, they were all enderpearls and less than 100 of them (this is what I tested with). Enderpearls sell in the meepshop for about 0.3. This clearly indicates I could not have used this machine for any economic advantage at all as I would've theoretically had to dupe over 33,000 enderpearls just to make 10k, and it clearly shows that I did not pick up that many enderpearls in the footage.

Overall, yes it was dumb that I tested the machine on a server instead on single player, but no it has never worked during the time I have been on MeepCraft so I can't have duped, and finally the thing that I tested it on was ender pearls, an extremely cheap item which would've given me no economical benefit even if the duping had somehow worked.

I hope this is able to clear my name as I only just recently rejoined the server and was hoping to get back into the community and I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused with the staff.

Attempting to dupe is a serious offense. Your ban will be reduced to 7 days.
