Signs for stock tickers

Simple idea to save everyone the hassle of looking up the ticker id on goggle, put them on a sign somewhere that is appropriate. If necessary swap the location of tellers and brokers.

There simply are not enough signs to accomplish this, even if they scrolled inside a hologram.

MAYBE right clicking your stocks in inventory could display their current value though.

 

+1 but only for big, popular stocks. Otherwise, there are too many.

 

A simple GUI would be a much better solution for this.

 

We need a better explanation on how to buy the stocks. It won't work when I try to buy them. It tells me to type the stock symblol in chat, and I do, but it does nothing. I don't even get an error message. And yes, I was using the symbols, not the names. I tried multiple, including IBM and APPL.

How about a something that allows players to chose a few stocks that will be displayed on signs for them only?

 

Good idea. I think that there should just be a GUI with all the stocks you can buy listed on it, and make it right click to sell, left click to buy, like a chest shop.

 

Completed. Stock symbols have been added to the villagers's at /warp stocks.
